A series showing a simulated fighter pilot's perspective during flight missions in a Spitfire Mk. IXe in Europe set in WWII.

In this episode we were set to takeoff for a morning mission, however the engines were not pre-warmed and even though the weather was good, there was trouble and we could not fly the mission. We then joined the COMBAT BOX server for a fighter sweep over the bomb-line from Cologne to Bonn where we met up with a few large groups of Me 109s and FW 190s.
SOFTWARE & RECORDING
The missions are flown in "Il-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad" using the 'Battle of Bodenplatte' DLC. The recordings were edited together 'post-mission' from the 'tracked' footage captured during the flight. The flight itself was in VR (first-person perspective in the cockpit) without external views.
HARDWARE
Using the Vive Pro HMD with the A-10 Warthog HOTAS Joystick + Throttle and the Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

Good mission, enjoyed the video please work on communicating with calling out directions when gathering your flight Angels 10 , North 185 would help. Besides that everything was well.
Hey Ronald - Thanks for watching! This video was taken a while back and I agree 100% and communicating was a major focus for me in the coming months - and in fact still is - It's often quite difficult when you're actively fighting to think of everything!

Hi, maybe i get an answer here :) Is it posssible to play the original "STALINGRAD" Campaign/Career in COOP Session? I want to play this with my brother. It would be amazing when it is possible. Regards
Hey bud - I would also love to do any of the career modes with my brother but we had no luck there - What you have to do is generate a campaign using a campaign generator; although sadly I have no experience with this and you'll need to find one that works for your purposes (when I Googled these I found a 'Pat Wilson' generator and another 'Dynamic Campaign' generator, both of which seem like viable options). Then you'll need to host a Co-op server on your PC (you'll absolutely need to do some port-forwarding to be able to host and it's also possible that your brother will need to do the same).
