Multicrew is definitely one of IL-2's biggest selling points for me, be that with tanks or bombers. It makes for a lot of very fun gameplay, and can turn even the most mundane mission into something exciting, or at the very least amusing!

You must play on the low settings or something, I have IL2 and war thunder and I play both at max graphics 1440p and war thunder clearly looks better. The fire effects, lighting, shadows, ground vehicles, textures are all clearly better in war thunder. Don't get me wrong I love IL2, but I wish it had war thunders graphics.
The only thing that's graphically better in IL2 is the bullets sparking off metal when you get hits, the bombers having cockpits and the crash effects - the crash effects in IL2 are really good looking but I guess that's more physics than graphics.
@@endi3386not in VR though. I tried war Thunder in VR and it was utter garbage. I think it's more so that they didn't make the settings match with VR that well. For example I was seeing doubled rocks in tanks and lower resolution despite setting it up to 2000 by 2000 per eye.
The best part is its not a buggy piece of shit where you get gaijined every game
IL-2 is an amazing game, wish more people would get into it.

I really enjoy these il-2 videos. Your editing really is a cherry on top. I chuckled at the the takeoff and enemy engagement cards.
The bomber view in IL2 is far more involving than the WT bomber view where you do nothing.

if you turn into the fighter planes that are making a pass at you it will make it harder for them to hit you. you dont have to turn in head on just 10-20 degrees ca be enough to make the angle higher aspect and make it harder to get rounds on you. plus what is an easyier target to hit one flying in the same direction or one bobbing and weaving. make sure you fly one way for say a minute and when they come at you for the other side try turning the same degrees as you did the last turn that way you will roughly heading in the same heading.

Top tip, you can increase the amount of boredom if you climb up to 3000+ meters... Takes a while and then you can realise you're too high to see the target (no pun intended)
