Hi Kevin! Watching you make ginger tea. And wanted to tell you you have the most beautiful things, such as the teapot and the little cups that match. They are beautiful! Make your tea takes so much better! 🤍

Hi Carolyn - This is one of those recipes for which there are no exact measurements. For 1 1/2 quarts of tea, I'd use 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons ground turmeric.

I got some turmeric off amazon. the roots came in and every piece was beautiful and big pieces. I got 2 lbs not thinking how much it would be. well It was a bunch. it was only 16.99 for 2 lbs. great price. and guess what you can freeze it. looks like yo cut enough of the roots to make several gallon of tea. I boil mine with a couple of life savor sizes and I put honey in mine. no lemon or pepper. I sometime make golden milk with the turmeric and black pepper but it messes with acid reflux and it blotted me so bad.

I am so sorry to say, but you wasted a lot of these roots. you only need a couple life saver sizes of each to make about 4 cups of tea. I add honey. honey is suppose to be good for you. I boil mine for several minutes to get all of the benafits from my roots. you should try it just like I am telling you but you can add the other things. it is good just the way I am telling you. mine will be good and orange where I boiled it good. Im was watching your video. and I thought that you was going to make 10 gallon of tea and to see that you only made a tea pot full. wow. you must have a lot of money to waste the roots like that. dont get mad at me. I am only telling you the truth about making the tea. for that tea pot full use about 4 or 5 live savor sizes of each to your water and boil it real good and you will see that it is a good orange color and it taste great with or with out the honey. I like the honey
