I am a little younger , but, I remember listening, and watching Heart, as a teen. I would lose myself in Ann's eyes, as she belted out their songs with that FIRE showing in her eyes. But she always ends up with the classic beginning of the song.. AT 2:18... SHE STILL does the classic KICK that is mandatory! She subdued it for many years, but not this time!
It was so important for Ann and Nancy to do the Stairway cover in front of Zep, but especially to make it their own and not just a cover. Impossible song to perform and they brought down the house and brought the Zep boys to tears. No one will ever do that again. Insane talent to pull that off. I saw this band in the ‘80’s at MLG inTO. One of the best shows I have ever seen. Just straight up rock and roll, no glitz and glam, no processed sound. Just like having them in your living room.
