Sorry, didn't realise you had been poorly Jemma. Love your videos, better quality than most of the others I have seen and love the way you describe what you're doing. As an old owner driver from back in the 70's & 80's I can appreciate what you are going through each day. Like the new map inclusion too.

Jemma I am vert glad that you have come to terms with your exhaustion! Sometimes people just dont understand that you can just burn out and that feeling tired episode becomes more frequent and before you know it you start getting frequent colds along with anxiety attacks which can become extremely health damaging! Great idea with the merch and I do sincerely wish you well for this side of your You Tube venture!. Just manage your time moving forward and yes do please take a break from the you tube every no and again! You work massively hard all the time and driving is no mean feat its damn exhausting and stressful. Take care and good luck with the merch Terry

I know what you mean, the hours are what's been the biggest shock to the system for me since I started tramping, these companies really like to get their pound of flesh out of you.
I always have a nap on my 45, I need it! I got myself a folding washing bowl so I can have a decent strip wash in the evening instead.
You might want to try sleep tea to help you nod off, there's many different types out there and they all seem to do the job for me.
Don't worry about doing videos every week, we'll just enjoy them whenever they come out. Take care of yourself, happy travels.

Some people do put a small bag of lavender seeds in their pillow. They say it does give you a better night's sleep. Strangely, women like lavender as they get older. 🤔🤗
Hello Jemma, I’m glad you’re back and looking well. I passed your truck on the M5 a few weeks ago being driven by a guy. Then about 10 day’s ago I again passed your truck by the Morrisons distribution centre and was really pleased to see it was you back in the driving seat unless the guy was wearing a blonde wig? I really don’t know you do all the things you do and with much of the driving on Devon roads which are difficult enough in a car. Well done, I’m sure you are alway’s going to make the right decisions.
Really loving the maps, as someone who is terrible at Geography it is nice to see which part of the country you are in and get an idea of where the towns you mention are. Just caught a quick glimpse of that pony, could have been a Great Dane. 😆😆 Always love your videos, they are always interesting and professional, your health comes first though. I’m a concierge at an apartment building in the Washington, DC area in the United States. I don’t drive or drive for a living. But I know what burnout is like. Especially since I have bipolar. I’m Andrew. I’m a subscriber of Trucker Josh too. I find it interesting to watch these videos because I have a cousin in Missouri who drives truck.

A46 A 676 Melton Mowbray to Chris Allsop’s scrap metal yard there are NO Layby’s and single lane traffic. I came up the A46 yesterday back home. I know you have limited driving times. Thank you for an excellent video, and how you explained our road system to your overseas nationals. Stay safe. Part 1 of my Saturday complete, now off to officiate my cricket match. Hello, Sweden here, was really nice with the map so you could see where in the UK you are and driving. Here in Sweden the motorways have E and numbers, E for European road and have green signs and then the rest of the road network has blue signs when it is a state road and yellow when it is smaller private roads.
Sounds good that you're taking care of yourself, we're still here and I appreciate you taking a break every now and then and keep making good movies rather than burning yourself out

Love the videos. We used to do bulker work so it's great to see familiar places and processes. We've moved up to the Peak District now and have been lucky to find a dog friendly haulier to work for. Keep up the great work and we're looking forward to your merch arriving so we can have a sticker on the motorcycle and sidechariot, and one on our truck too 👍

Another great video Jemma, really enjoy your videos as it reminds me of when I drove for our family business on bulk just like yourself, collecting from farms tipping at mills etc and did sand from a quarry too, I haven't driven for about,10 years now but fancy another go! Don't burn yourself out do what you can sensibly and that will do.

You make me wish I'd took the step to take my HGV class 1 many years ago, but sadly I didn't, I did drive a flat bed recovery truck with a spec' lift (8.25 tonne gross weight) I did learn a valuable lesson of don't trust a TomTom car Sat' Nav with an outdated memory card. I was had a car on the flatbed (and one of the longest cars on the spec' a Volvo V70) the Sat Nav took me down a recently dead end road in Leamington Spa that only led to a supermarket car park, I ended up having to reverse a good 500 metres with the car on the spec' lift at 11am midweek in the morning. That was interesting to say the least! I have driven artics on private land and they are more forgiving than a 'central pivot' point spec' lift truck I think, you can VERY easily oversteer on the reverse, and before you know it have a jack knife situation! Looking forward to seeing more from you again!

First of all it's good to see you are healthy again and we can follow your adventures. I can understand that you are burned out a bit, your plate is always full with trucking, editing and the house renovation. I really like the little animated maps, where we can see your journey. That's a fine addition. This was a pretty easy and smooth day. As always I love the small villages and the adorable countryside.
