You could get that last soap cutter to cut melt and pour soap. It would be more trouble then you would want though. One of the reasons that wire breaks is because the wire is not completely smooth. It has ridges that cause friction when cutting and it causes it to break. Take away the friction by using something else. 30lb fishing line works every time! But the trick with yours is you have to place the loaf in first in the closed position and lift up instead of pushing down. It will cut clean through and you'll never break a line. I've made several cutters that use fishing line (It is not styled like yours). Thats what I use to cut slabs into loaves and sometimes I use it to cut my single bars. In fact, it can easily cut through hard butters and oils like palm kernel and cocoa butter to break up into smaller pieces for storage. I haven't broken a line yet. Made several of them for people all over the country and I'm still on the same spool! I originally took a dowel and drilled a holes into it and put the line through it and used that to cut soap. It cut very straight and smooth. I didn't like the white HDP cutter I got off etsy. It cut the soap at an angle because wire does not bend around corners very well. Eventually I made my own. Works out really well. My point is you can also use fishing line and a couple of dowels as handles for very cheap. It won't take long to figure out your best way to cut but it cuts easily and very smooth.

It is frustrating, especially when you are selling them and they all need to be perfect! The wire cutter is a really good option for getting good cuts, you can find them on Amazon or I have a video showing how to make one yourself!🙂
I'm looking to try and start a small business I like the multicolor but you say it's not good for Milton Corso would you please guide me to which is a good option I have troubles with getting precision cuts I have a soapbox but have troubles getting bars that are exactly the same size

Yes you can! The dough cutter needs to have a sharper edge to work but most of them do🙂

It sounds like the cutting box is either not put together square, or your soap stop is not screwed in straight.

A single wire cutter will give you perfect cuts for melt and pour soap and it's much faster to cut than a soap box!
