Why did O's option Kyle Stowers to Norfolk?
Because Westy is hurt so we need a backup infielder, but he's not hurt enough for the IL. We have plenty of depth in the OF rn, so Kyle was just the lowest on the totem pole. When Westy is back up it's likely Kjerstad will come back up until Stowers is eligible again.

Time to trade Kerstadt or Norby or another top prospect for a starting pitcher. All we have is Burnes (for a year), Rodriguez (who's been on the IR), maybe Kremer, plus Irvin, Suarez, and Povich.

Um, so I thought the reason today’s pitchers only pitch five innings was to prevent arm injury. I guess five innings is to much for todays lame excuse for a starter.

@@user-f5xt2op9t No kidding. The point is, the concept of 100 pitches prevents injury is BS. Pulling a pitcher with a no hitter is stupidity. The problem is they are not “ pitching”., but are throwing. Mike Cuellar and Luis Tiant may have hit 90 mph once by accident. Pitching gets batters out not throwing. Have a great day.
