I feel like a sucker from the Jiffy Lube place when I think of all the money I paid them for something I could have done myself if I had seen you video sooner! Thank you.

Thank you for the simple yet instructive video. It helped us change our filter with ease. However, I have a question. When you drop your glove box, there is some kind of pad or filter type thing stuck to the back of the glove box that sandwiches up against the cabin filter when closed. Do you know what that is? Ours had mouse poop all over it and we tore it off thinking we'd replace it, but know we don't know what it is called and where to find one. Thanks, Jim.
I'd go to one of the online Honda Parts stores & look it up. There are diagrams of the parts & part numbers. The hardest thing will be finding the right diagram or call you local Honda dealer, they can likely find it faster & give you a price for the part. After you hear the price you might get creative & find some alternative mouse bedding.
Ok I changed my cabin air filter but what is that sticky pad one before the actual cabin air filter called? Mine is dirty and I really wanna replace it.
You can go to one of the on line Honda part sellers. Enter the info for your car. You will find parts diagrams for your car. Find the part your want to replace in one of the diagrams, then you will know the name and part number. If you don't want to go that route, go to the Honda dealer or Auto Zone (or one of the other auto chains) and ask... they will look it up for you. www.hondapartsnow.com/
You are welcome. I don't have the resources to get part numbers for you for the many brands of filters. You could go to any auto store (on line or in person), they will help you get the correct filter. You can search on line too.
It’s so cool that they made it so you don’t need any tools.
Honda fit is probably the best car you can get
Thank you! Really big help. My daughter has a 2009 fit. Said she's never changed this filter. Dad to the rescue(with a little help from my friends!)
You are welcome! Thanks for the kind words.
