Life is funny, here I am again. Crying myself out to this song. But I know I'll be fine, not tomorrow, maybe not anytime soon, but someday, somehow, I know everything's gonna be ok.
We can all find a way to get over tragedy. There's no magic formula but there is a way for every single one of us to put ourserlves back together and rise. Don't be afraid to go outside and find out for yourself.
We'll laugh about it someday.

my whole life went to shit and then I heard this song and played this album on repeat in 2021 for a solid 8 months.
I feel like I’m always going through this song ):
I though I'd see better times but it's only gotten worse and more tragic the longer I trudge on. But that's all we can do sometimes. Keep fighting because life is not scripted so everything could change in an instant. All these years later are really not that many in the grand scheme of things so try and view 20 years of no stop struggle as a shortamount of time. Don't give up even if it keeps getting harder. Keep trudging along with me and someday we will make it.
Haven't jammed to Sick Puppies since I was a teen. Helped me through so much shit when I was younger

When they came to my town, I went to their concert and I went to the meet and greet after. I was crying because Shimon is perfect, obviously. So when I got to him he looked up and me, grabbed my hand and said "Don't cry baby!" Best moment of my life, ever.

Firs time I ever heard of them I was standing front row at their concert at WJJO Band Camp in Madison Wisconsin. We walked through the gate and went to a side stage where a band was about to start. This was their first song. I was immediately drawn in, not to mention I was 18 and their bass player is gorgeous.

This was always the band I would listen to whenever I got sad, insecure and felt like the world was completely against me. This was one of the few bands who's music managed to help me get through depression. I love this band so much for it.

BloodShadow42 same here I still struggle wih depression every day but this band makes it easier to deal with
this song, the lyrics in the beginning especially, sound eerily like my childhood and my relationship between my mother, who had narcissistic personality disorder, and my little sister. this song tells that struggle so perfectly, and having been told for most of my childhood that i was 'overreacting' or 'should just ignore it' or that my mom was ' a wonderful parent' made me feel incredibly invalidated and made my adult life so difficult, because I feel like i have to work so hard to be worthy of anyone's attention or care. this song is so validating in that it tells my perspective so well, whether or not it intended to, and so I know someone else understands me and believes that what i went through was very real and very awful, and that i deserved better.
The main reason this gets me every time because everyone did end up leaving home alone.
If you don't know Shim ( lead singer/guitarist ) was kicked out of the band, and they were all childhood friends...

It's possible, though, that Shim contributed to his own firing, since supposedly he tried to disband the group and keep them from going on without him.

This song helped me get through tough times as a teenager. I would think about my mom and the rejection I felt from her, particularly with the second verse. (1:15 - 1:30) Forever and always will love this song.
I really hope that's not the way Emma feels about her body, or any person for that matter. As long as your healthy that's all that counts don't feel bad about anything in anyway. Just relax and enjoy life everyone !

What gets me is my son, who has only lost grandnparents, feels an strong emotional tie to this song since he was 2.
This song put so many people's lives into words which is probably a 1 in a million chance of happening.

Still love these guys as a band.. Shim is doing his own thing and Emma Anzai is now bassist for Evanescense... I was never a fan of Evanescense but huge fan of Emma, she is a beast on the bass
