I find it very interesting that many psychiatrists have linked traumatic childhood events to asthma, allergies, and general immune dysfunction/autoimmunity- due to the habits the physiological body gets itself into over time from stress responses. Not that having a traumatic childhood will cause you do have autoimmune issues, and vice versa- but it heavily increases the chances.

Thanks so much Dr. Berg for talking about the powerful pollen. I have been a beekeeper and apitherapist since 1990 and I cured my sinusitis in 6 months when my doctor couldn't do it in 20 years. As you said pollen is rich in vitamins, proteins, minerals, fatty acids, etc. In 2009 I made a mono diet with pollen to prove how complete is pollen. I ate exclusively pollen for 6 months and I never felt so good in my life. The best way to take pollen is to mix it with acid (like lemon juice) and wait one hour before taking it with water. I have taken pollen every day at my breakfast since 1990. I also recommend it to my cancer patients. It is a good way to stop eating the wrong food which feeds cancer cells.😢

I started having this problem at about 11 yrs old and it made me miserable all my life! Then in the summer of 2011 when I was 50 yrs old I had a job that included some grass cutting and weed eating which I really can't do with my hayfever! Magically I had no reaction, I hadn't even noticed during that spring that I was not reacting to normal spring growth outdoors, I didn't realize it until I had to go and do these outdoor chores and I was really worried how bad I would react... NOTHING, absolutely nothing happened, I was shocked, so I started volunteering to cut grass and do weed eating because I loved the fact that for the first time in 40 years I COULD NOW DO IT. I have no idea at all what happened. The previous year I was on anti histamines just like the last 40 years. Now it is 2023 and for 12 years now I have been 99%-100% reaction free, no antihistamines in the last 12 years. This problem kept me indoors for a lot of the summer most of my life. NOT NOW! I still have the anti histamines from 12 years ago because I always had them in the cabinet, never went without because I knew they would be needed, not anymore!

Also, stinging nettle has the additional benefit of blocking the formation of dihydrotestone. Stinging nettle is also great for prostate health without harming the kidneys like saw palmetto.

Hello Dr Berg... I have found all three of these remedies VERY helpful over the past 25 yrs or more. Bee pollen was an amazing remedy for our family for many years, but our local source said it was no longer safe because of the local farming practices. So that option is out... but I do usually have organic stinging nettle in bulk that I make tea from and keep it in the fridge... lifesaver! To date, though, the BEST remedy has been my KETO, IF journey over the past couple years 😊 Healing my body over time, especially my liver, has reduced all sorts of things... in particular seasonal allergies! They are still there, but so mild that they are are hardly a bother any more! So thank you so much for all the information that is so beneficial in creating a more healthy lifestyle!!! 😊❤

The amounts of these flavonol glycosides in mulberry leaves and mulberry-leaf tea were determined by HPLC. Our results showed that quercetin 3-(6-malonylglucoside) and rutin were the predominant flavonol glycosides in the mulberry leaves. "

I just started the blood type diet and cut wheat, corn, dairy from cow's milk and pork. It's only the fourth day, but so far I have had one allergy tablet so far. Normally I need one every eight hours, plus the nasal spray and the eye drops. I'll try to stick to the diet for two months, the worst months here in Switzerland, and see how it goes. Hello Dr. Berg thank you for all your good Contant . I wanted to let you know that I have always been allergic shots as a child and such and didn’t get rid of my allergies until I was 59 years old and stopped eating gluten. My rosacea also cleared up and I went on a ketogenic diet but still had a lot of food sensitivities last month. I discovered the carnivore diet and I have been doing fabulous since I started it I have had fluid retention since my 30s and I now have ankles. I am so happy, I also have a pacemaker sleep apnea which has resolved itself. Well, if you’re going carnivore, that food is what my body wants . Thank you so much for your detailed explanations. They have come in handy over the years.

I suffered from horrendous hay fever (ie. a grade 4 grass pollen allergy) from 13-45, I'm now 55. However, after healing my leaky gut 10 yrs ago, the allergies disappeared 💯%. Although if I ever slip up with my diet during pollen season, the allergies do come back. The main culprit being glyphosate - which quickly breaks down cell junctions. So therefore I strictly avoid the worst offending foods: mainly grains and... oddly enough, pre-shelled walnuts, pecans, pistachios and almonds (which are all treated with glyphosate after shelling - yes, even organic versions).
I wish more people knew about this. It's not easy to follow such a diet, I know. But when you do, it feels miraculous to not be miserable anymore.

September this year I was in Jakarta Indonesia, the whole month, all symptoms were gone. No sneezing, no runny nose, no burning eyes, no itchy skin, sleep became better, while being in the most polluted city in the world.
Now I'm back in the Netherlands and the daily torture is back, but to this day no doctor has been able to tell me what I am allergic to.

Local honey is the BEST remedy because it contains ALL the pollen you are exposed to and allergic to. Pollen bought at a better price online, or in a market which sells many different kinds, but none local, is the go-to for most people who do not realize that they will not be getting the pollen they need to acclimate to. Learned this about 30 yrs ago from a forest firefighter who specialized in "Prescribed Burnings" the very thing that prevents wildfires like we see in Canada, and California who decided to NOT do them, because of the carbon prescribed burnings produce.
