What foods make you bloated? For me it's dairy, gluten, and added sugar! To debloat, I spend the next day drinking lots of water and filling up on lean protein, veggies, and fruits! Exercise helps too of course!

Absolutely adore how you take into account things like stress, hormones, and even personal goals. Not everyone wants to lose weight or get shredded, and many fitness channels take one or both as an assumption. You know your stuff, are frank with it and with reality that we all react differently to foods, and even the same food on different days. This video wasn't what I was looking for but it's such good quality it deserves a comment to bump it up in the algorithm. Good luck with this channel 👏👏
I love how Cassey said she likes to look at her belly after an amazing meal and give it a lil pat and say 'good job' to her belly ☺️ That is the sweetest, most cutest thing I've heard today. Also changes my perspective on food babies 😅
Finally someone who EXPLAINS why you bloat up and what you can do about it!!! I struggled so hard to foolow the tips in other videos because sometimes there was literally no sense behing it!

You’re so kind and encouraging, and like a lot of people have said in the comments, it’s like chatting with a friend when watching your videos. I’ve had terrible bloating today, and it was just so nice to watch this and relax and realize that this is just part of life and it’s going to be okay.
"Love every inch of your body" wow this video is more than about bloating!! This motivated me not to keep focusing on my weight but rather to embrace and love myself!!! Thank you so much for this Casey! So informative and inspiring
Cassey, thank you for always being there for us all. I have struggled mentally for a few months lately due to Covid. I had issues about my feelings toward my body and I just felt like I had to lose fat even though I am already slim enough. I tried to eat better and workout more but I realized that I no longer enjoyed working out the way I did before. It felt like a race, an obligation.. and frankly, I hated it. It brought me down so much and made my anxiety worse. However, with the support of my family and boyfriend, I have slowly gotten back to eating normally and just working out when I truly feel the desire too. Its a work in progress, but I'm slowly starting to come back to my normal regime and doing work outs that make me truly feel happy and not those that make me feel like I must lose fat.
I’m so glad I came across this video, I’ve dealt with painful bloating in the past. Thankfully during quarantine I figured out a diet that works best for my body but it’s still nice to know why I’ve experienced this & how to continue to prevent it! Thank you!
Love the positivity, the message to love oneself where you're at. As a med student, I agree with all you are saying! Balance is key, sleep/stress management is key, and learning what works for each individual is key.
It's important to mention that laxative abuse may cause REALLY SEVERE bloating issues that don't stop at just gluten and veg and that stuff. Please please please don't shove the dulcolax down thinking that it will help! It won't in the long run.
I personally have never taken laxatives but my flatmate does to help her lose weight and she's ALWAYS on the toilet farting incessantly. I told her that it's not healthy but she won't listen.
Yes. I had severe IBS issues in my teens and had been prescribed laxatives and softeners and even though I used them like I was supposed to, it caused so much bloat afterwards. I now have IBD along with GERD but I only use laxatives and anti D meds (my body loves switching back and forth) if it is absolute last choice.
the ending of this video made me cry happy tears because your perspective about food and relationship to food is so wholesome and isn't coming from a mindset of fat=bad, weight loss=good, its coming from a mindset of wanting people to feel really comfortable and safe and happy in their bodies and thats a message that feels uncommon in a lot of exercise and fitness circles. thank you for sharing the tips to reduce bloating as well !
I really appreciate that you said it's not just calories in/calories out. A lot of influencers, or girls on reddit will shame others for saying they can't lose the weight, but hormones, stress, sleep, birth control, and a bunch of other factors make it so that scale doesn't move. I'm pretty in shape, but it's losing that stubborn belly fat that is really difficult for me :(. Plus I bloat (even after like, a run) which confuses me at times
I heard belly fat can be the result of stress. Also: drink lots of water (especially when you're exercising), and figure out how that works out best for you. Some articles suggest you drink a few glasses at once, and others suggest you drink tiny sips at a time. And last but not least... Everyone has a spot on their body which loses weight last. For me, it's my arms... Only when I am really really losing weight, my arms finally get thinner. But you should ask yourself whether that is what you want. Belly fat is actually very normal for women. Lots of people find it beautiful and feminine :)
This is the first video talking about how you can't spot reduce fat that doesn't make me feel so defeated. Most of the time I hear people saying you can do all the ab workouts you want but you won't lose there at all and it just really discouraged me from even trying. Tomorrow I'm starting one of your 7 day workouts and you have given me that motivation to start and I can't wait!
Hey! I've been doing ab workouts for like 2 weeks and it works for me! Since I got little time bc of exams, I just do a 20 min workout everyday and it definitely works, of course it takes its time but I can see some little changes :)) don't give up!

Thank you for reducing my anxiety! I have been waking up nausous almost every morning! Scared thinking I was pregnant even though my husband has had a vascetomy! I love that finally somebody speaks so clearly about weight loss, i eat super healthy BUT i´m super stressed out and i don´t get enough sleep, so for me this is a big issue and i have o change it in order to feel really good about my body beyond losing weight. It is just like you said "food should make you feel joy and good about yourself"
Dunno why but I feel the need to show appreciation for Cassey's way of talking. I'm Italian, yet her talks always sound so musical and expressive, I just love listening to her talking *giggles
I've noticed since starting clean eating that gluten makes me so bloated and yucky feeling which sucks because my fave foods are pizza pasta and bread lol. But I'm getting used to the changes. The yucky feelings last like 3days and just aren't worth that moment of weakness for me. Have a brill day everyone

Omg this was like the video I needed lol. I’ve been so stressed, haven’t slept well, so many things and I felt so so bloated 😭🤣 this video answered so many questions lingering in my mind. Btw your handwriting is so pretty!🥰
The end part is one of the most helpful overviews I've found talking about main categories of work to be done for weight loss. Workouts, nutrition, sleep, and stress.
I’ve been through the mistake of thinking I could eat as much food as I want as long as it was healthy. I was working out regularly but I was still not shedding off the weight. After much research through the years and with learning from my fitness peers, I learned that even though I ate healthy foods, excessive calories/ being on a caloric surplus is what leads to weight gain. To lose weight, one must be in a caloric deficit. Muscle gain is a different topic and that dives into macros and such. But YEAH. I’m so glad you said that “excessive calories + time = body fat”! 👍🏽❤️
@@anisosoreho4242 This is from www.healthline.com- “you achieve a calorie deficit when you consume fewer calories than you burn. The calories you burn a day, called calorie expenditure, can come from these 3 things: 1) resting energy expenditure- when you’re body is breathing & circulating blood 2) thermic effect of food- your body digesting, absorbing, & metabolizing food 3) activity energy expenditure- i.e. exercising, walking, or doing chores If you supply your body fewer calories than it needs to support those 3 things, you put your body on a calorie deficit.” I’m not an expert, which is why I wanted to give you good definition from a medically reviewed article -> www.healthline.com/nutrition/calorie-deficit Hope that helps! 🤞🏽
This was the best nutritional and effective realistic advice that many girls need to hear,I’ve been bloated for a while now and I know it’s my diet and lifestyle, going to start waking up early go for morning walks do a daily step of 10,000 a day eat healthier until I’m out of lockdown and can go back to the gym and get back to my routine again!💪🏼
I love you Cassey! You are such a relatable queen. Thank you for making this video. I really struggle with bloating and you make it so fun and interesting to learn
I appreciate you so much for explaining the difference between a blooted body and s body that has gained body fat. Thanks for caring for people and your well-being as well.
stretching and yoga exercises can also help to de-bloat! doing specific stretches, usually 1-2 hours after you eat a meal, or before bed will help you feel more comfortable and get better sleep. 💗
LISA NATION sure girly! First things first, before addressing the food situation, I recommend that you sleep at least 8 hours, lack of sleep messes up directly your stress hormones, drink lots of water, and move your body however you like (run, do Cassey’s videos, dance, walk) anything you like. PCOS is affected by many factors and food is only one of them 😪 so make sure your lifestyle as a whole is a healthy one! Food wise, I will go ahead and share with you what I don’t eat and then what I do eat and various meal ideas ♥️ WHAT TO AVOID: alcohol, sugar, dairy, too many carbs, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, mini cabbages, overly fried food. (I do want to say that I did not eliminate these from my diet completely, but I did reduce them to once a week or twice a month) I struggled with two eating disorders, so be careful when eliminating food, make sure it’s a slow process, don’t eliminate everything at once. It takes time, be patient and consistent ♥️ WHAT I DO EAT: lots of roasted bell peppers with onion and garlic, lots of mushrooms mixed with zucchini and more onion and garlic, fish, chicken, salmon, shrimp, I buy tortilla chips that are baked, for my carbs, I eat Quinoa, rice, oatmeal, amaranth (I make sure not to go over half a cup because then my stomach hurts) listen to your body though 😉 Fats: only olive oil, peanuts, almonds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, almond butter/peanut butter/tahini. I have a sweet tooth so I always have stevia and monk fruit sweetener to sweetened my beverages 🥳 You are not on your own. I felt lonely in this process but if you want more help, even my own eating plans, I can send them to you, I’ve also made a playlist on my channel that I named “Pescatarian Recipes”, it’s a lot of videos I’ve collected for when I need recipe ideas 😅 Here’s my email if you’d like more ideas: alondra.ceja@sjcme.edu
Maybe you're eating something you're slightly allergic to or your body isn't taking well! I'd suggest writing down how you feel after you eat something to try to figure out what it is that is bothering you!
This was a great video! Thank you for posting-- there is so much ridiculous misinformation about bloating on tiktok, etc. I also just love that you points out healthy foods can also cause a lot of bloating! People always seem to focus on unhealthy foods that cause bloating, the implication being bloating is inherently always unhealthy. But it's not. it's your body just digesting. For example, lentils, beans, and uncooked veggies especially ones like broccoli can cause a lot of bloating because they produce a lot of gas while being digested-- but these are healthy, nutrient rich foods. I made a really tasty lentil soup a few weeks ago and got interested in bloating because I was eating it all week for lunch-- and I was super bloated! Turns out rinsing off the lentils before cooking them would have helped a lot, or these tips!
i have been getting bloated constantly throughout the day, every day, for the last few years and could honestly cry at this point 😂😭 it’s not even just after i eat anymore, it’s if i don’t eat, or it’s just for no reason at all 😩
You are so inspirational with just the way you talk and encourage people. It makes me actually want to follow the things you're saying. Thanks for this! :)
Betty T OMG too true. Drinking water first thing in the morning is one of my healthy habits but I literally look like I ate breakfast already after that cup of water.
It’s so frustrating to get bloated that much! My stomach got pretty flat over the last weeks which I‘m very proud of but bloating destroys this confidence
Thank you - I needed this video today. :) I just finished the soup diet after a week. I did it with a few co-workers, in support of one of them trying to loos weight. I am not overweight, but I could probably stand to loose about 7 kg. So I did it, and honestly, I don't know what it did, but it opened my eyes to how I was living, and what the foods I typically eat do to me. The thing is, I *love* pasta, and I have been eating a lot of it, because I had less mental and physical energy, and there is less clean-up after. Obviously the soup diet is nowhere near sustainable - but it mainly consists of veggies, and then you eat specific fruits, veggies, meats and grains, depending on the day. All natural foods, and it helped me think in more creative ways, and I actually felt full on meal sizes I never thought possible. I lost 2,6 kg in that week. The day after, I decided to count calories, but eat the normal type of foods, as long as I stayed full. Had 5 glasses of water, and surprisingly, I stayed full on 1.200 calories (to be fair, I am more inactive on weekends, so I also expend less energy). Guess who gained 200 grams - in a serious calorie deficit? No, I am not going to stay on 1.200 calories - I love food way too much for that, and that is not healthy. BUT - it made me realise that the foods I usually eat may be bad for me. Because the soup week was the first time I didn't have that constant food baby - and it felt so great. More energy, less sluggish, all the things mentioned in the video. I don't believe in cutting out food groups, unless you are allergic, since they all contribute with valuable nutrients for the body. But maybe it is worth thinking about how 'natural' they are, and what they do to your body. And experiment with finding different options within that food group.
I love to both exercise and eat so no matter how much I exercise I still cannot lose that stubborn belly fat LOL...but I really love this video as it's so encouraging and it tells the truth. The important message is just to love yourself as how you are and be comfortable with the current version of yourself...also bear in mind that whatever you do the goal is to make yourself happy...SO IMPORTANT!
Thank you for mentioning the laxatives and stimulant teas. I was addicted to using those for ten years until it got so bad, I couldn't go without taking them every day. I'm three years+ not touching them now, but it was so easy to get addicted to using them. I feel not enough people are made aware just how dangerous laxatives can be.
I am not seriously overweight only slightly however you give much better advice than any doctor I've spoken to, especially about the matter of the way your intestines and stomach feel. Thank you young lady thank you very much
People asked me why I eat so slow, and I can show them this video. Also drinking tea like cinnamon, peppermint, dandelion root, dandelion chai, or a blend of rose, lavender, and chamomile. Stretches helps at times as well.
I can eat something in 2 hours. It can even be a little kraft Mac n cheese cup that takes my hours. I can get full eating half of a cup of food. I still tend to be overweight tho :(

Bloating has been one of my worst problems and I really experience it A LOT! This vid is so informative, thanks for this! xx
I love you since I was 3rd year college and now I am a Flight Attendant. Thank u for everything, Cassey.
Much love from the Philippines! 🇵🇭
This video is goals not only for my bloating ,but feeling better about my weight. Great advice and excited about my journey to a healthier me all around!!!!
Thank you for reducing my anxiety! I have been waking up nausous almost every morning! Scared thinking I was pregnant even though my husband has had a vascetomy! This video helped me figure out that I actually have a dairy intolerance and possiblr allergy! No more bloating & nausous mornings for me!
I'm Italian, yet her talks always sound so musical and expressive, I just love listening to her talking *giggles
omg i didnt know that face bloating was an actual thing! there are some meals that I SWEAR make my face look bigger and it’s always confused me!
It's usually the sodium!!
Its real sis during pms i can always tell in photos and videos i notice it ots crazy 😅🤗
Salt is not your friend
Dream wife right here, love how knowledgeable you are about your health
Your loyalty to health is worth a clap
This morning was the first morning I woke up & wasn’t bloated in a LONG time. Like. It’s been weeks
I need this video
I’ve been getting severe bloating lately! Just what I needed! Thanks Cassie 💕
SAME!
I breath and i bloat😂😂😂
All jokes aside me too
relatable :D
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is relatable 😑😭😭😭
As a person with a gluten and dairy allergy, I really needed this lol
Everybody: talking about bloating
Me: that’s a BIG SCRUNCHIE.🧐
Wow that’s a lot of likes😂
Yess 😂
IKRR
I noticed that too!!!
I noticed it too
Yesss that’s what I thought
I've noticed since starting clean eating that gluten makes me so bloated and yucky feeling which sucks because my fave foods are pizza pasta and bread lol. But I'm getting used to the changes. The yucky feelings last like 3days and just aren't worth that moment of weakness for me. Have a brill day everyone
My mom found out she’s highly allergic to gluten. It gets easier and there’s so many more options now!
Maybe try low carb pizza? Like using a crust made with cauliflower or other veggies
Same! I was bloated for like 3 days and i had constipation on top of that after 3 das i had enough some foods are not Worth that trouble even if they are yummy
@@anna.318 oh yeah good idea I'll give this a go! Thanks! 😊
@@tammystiletto I'm jealous we don't have a trader Joe's over here in UK 😂
You always come up with actual problems and their solutions with so much efforts ❤

i love how well spoken she is!
clicked on this SO FAST. Solved my problem sadly---as soon as you said "chewing gum, drinking through a straw..." I was like YEP---guilty.
When you have insomnia and constant stress from other components and you're reminded that sleep and lowering your stress is important: ;-;
I have Ulcerative Colitis and this is an everyday struggle. Even if I don't eat. 😐 I suspect SIBO, but my GI doc sucks and won't even let me get tested for it. Lol
I have the same here 😭 constantly changing meds because it never works. But I'm in remission rn. But I'm finding that I'm always bloating worse in the morning with my illness.
I love how you mention that fiber is hard to digest. I feel like a lot of people feel disappointed by this when they’re trying to be healthy. 💝
I had lentils and beans last night and my Husband and I were a wreck. This morning my stomach is STILL bloated with air.. soooo uncomfortable looking for relief. Thank you for this video
Cassey I totally love your work, you put so much love, energy and passion and that make everything you do just amazing and original and you transmit that incredible energyyy😊. You just motivate me a lot❤
Glad you like it!
To everyone here: stay safe and have a wonderful day!
Love from a positive Utuber 🥰
Thank you🤍
Always watch this vid when I feel like purging after a meal. Thanks so much Cassie for helping keep me on track!
I’ve had a bloated stomach for my whole life so I hope this actually works
I'm so bloated and it doesn't go away, no matter how often I follow ur tips
Can you explain to me what does it mean by calories deficits
@@anisosoreho4242 This is from www.healthline.com- “you achieve a calorie deficit when you consume fewer calories than you burn. The calories you burn a day, called calorie expenditure, can come from these 3 things:
1) resting energy expenditure- when you’re body is breathing & circulating blood
2) thermic effect of food- your body digesting, absorbing, & metabolizing food
3) activity energy expenditure- i.e. exercising, walking, or doing chores
If you supply your body fewer calories than it needs to support those 3 things, you put your body on a calorie deficit.”
I’m not an expert, which is why I wanted to give you good definition from a medically reviewed article -> www.healthline.com/nutrition/calorie-deficit
Hope that helps!

You're the older sister I wish I had. Mine just makes me feel bad about myself
Bruh same
I'm sorry to hear that ☹️
Ur beautiful no matter what she says or does💜
I honestly can not thank you enough for this video. You explained so much about my struggles
This is so helpful Cassey. Bloating has always been a topic I can't get a lot of clear info on!
I have PCOS and bloating is pretty common! Thank God my dietitian has me on an eating regimen that makes me feel amazing 😍
ahh I have pcos too,, I bloat every day no matter what I eat 🥺 I'm glad you've found a diet that works for you!
Ellen Tester thanks girl! I hope you find something that works for you as well!😊
I have PCOS too, mind if I ask what you eat? I don’t have the money to go see a dietitian :(
LISA NATION sure girly!
Food wise, I will go ahead and share with you what I don’t eat and then what I do eat and various meal ideas ♥️
WHAT TO AVOID: alcohol, sugar, dairy, too many carbs, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, mini cabbages, overly fried food. (I do want to say that I did not eliminate these from my diet completely, but I did reduce them to once a week or twice a month) I struggled with two eating disorders, so be careful when eliminating food, make sure it’s a slow process, don’t eliminate everything at once. It takes time, be patient and consistent ♥️
WHAT I DO EAT: lots of roasted bell peppers with onion and garlic, lots of mushrooms mixed with zucchini and more onion and garlic, fish, chicken, salmon, shrimp, I buy tortilla chips that are baked, for my carbs, I eat Quinoa, rice, oatmeal, amaranth (I make sure not to go over half a cup because then my stomach hurts) listen to your body though 😉
Fats: only olive oil, peanuts, almonds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, almond butter/peanut butter/tahini.
I have a sweet tooth so I always have stevia and monk fruit sweetener to sweetened my beverages 🥳
You are not on your own. I felt lonely in this process but if you want more help, even my own eating plans, I can send them to you, I’ve also made a playlist on my channel that I named “Pescatarian Recipes”, it’s a lot of videos I’ve collected for when I need recipe ideas 😅
Here’s my email if you’d like more ideas:

Alondra Ceja thank you so much
I get so bloated every day and I don’t know why 😭 I could literally eat a banana and boom I look 5 months pregnant
Maybe you're eating something you're slightly allergic to or your body isn't taking well! I'd suggest writing down how you feel after you eat something to try to figure out what it is that is bothering you!
You should probably talk to a gastroenterologist and dietician :)
blogilates I do have a lot of allergies I get rashes from makeup, foods and detergents. I’m definitely gonna talk to my primary care doctor
Same here!
Read up on IBS and SIBO. I can garanti that it will help you understand your body better😊
Turns out rinsing off the lentils before cooking them would have helped a lot, or these tips!
i have been getting bloated constantly throughout the day, every day, for the last few years and could honestly cry at this point 😂😭 it’s not even just after i eat anymore, it’s if i don’t eat, or it’s just for no reason at all 😩
omg same
Me: hmm I’m bloated
My body: no it’s just fats.
Yo I thought that too then measured my self everyday 💀 then found out its just fat
A belly with fat rolls is a good belly. You don't need a flat stomach, you are not a dead Barbie doll.

I read farts
I am classified underweight but I bloat almost everyday ( sometimes my whole body rather than just my stomach) so this was a great help!
Only debloat tip that works for me:sleep at night wakeup in the morning
Ya that relatable
You are so inspirational with just the way you talk and encourage people. It makes me actually want to follow the things you're saying. Thanks for this! :)
I bloat with food , hot weather and in a hot shower . It makes me feel fat !! Your video is informative and thank you .
This is definitely something I struggle with, one cup of water in the morning and already I'm 6mos pregnant T^T
Betty T OMG too true. Drinking water first thing in the morning is one of my healthy habits but I literally look like I ate breakfast already after that cup of water.
that water is very fertile 😳
you guys have flatter stomach sometimes?
@@Daesma999 lmao exactly i wake up with a fat belly and sleep with a fat belly
@@someoneswig1263 and I'm bloated 24/7 and I don't know why 😂😭😭
It’s so frustrating to get bloated that much! My stomach got pretty flat over the last weeks which I‘m very proud of but bloating destroys this confidence
Being a college student with ibs, this helped me so much I cried 😂
Thanx for sharing this message, I have experiences losing my period I’m going make sure I don’t skip my meals
Thank you - I needed this video today. :)
I just finished the soup diet after a week.
The important message is just to love yourself as how you are and be comfortable with the current version of yourself...also bear in mind that whatever you do the goal is to make yourself happy...SO IMPORTANT!
no joke here but she is the only one i like for exercising cause she motivates us.
Love your makeup here. You are such a blessing to your followers!
