I've been a sinner, never really believed in God, anxiety has taken over me then i started praying, started believing in God.... everyday I'm starting to feel much much better, i know that he has been listening to my prayers, i know that all these pain will slowly go away even if it takes me a month or a year, I'll never loose my trust in you Lord...i trust in you Lord, i want to know you more and more, i want you Lord in my life and i know you will lead me according to your will.

As a former atheist I used to not worry too much, at least far less than most people I know and to me, I always knew the universe would take care of me. Now that I've given my life to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I've realized that it was Him all along not the universe. I now actually don't worry about the one thing that would sometimes keep me up at night, my eternal soul.
p.s. just yesterday I was over at a friend's house and his two little girls were fighting over some strawberries. He got irate with them and reminded them that there are a lot more strawberries and he's tired of seeing them fight over what he's provided for them, of which there's an abundance. I later pointed out to him that that's how God must feel about all of us.

I nearly lost my sister yesterday as she was spinning out on a busy high way. She immediately called God to help, and she opened her eyes a few inches from a large ditch away from the traffic. She was in the middle of the highway and spun out 4 lanes and did not touch a single car while it was busy as everyone was getting out of work. I can never thank God enough for what he's done.

I gave my life to god for the first half of my life and all I got was pain, suffering, and delusions. I had a hole in my chest that couldn't be filled, the love of a god would dim the pain but it wasn't enough. Carrying out another entities plans, all the while that entity claiming to give you free will made me feel empty.
I now know I'm the master of my destiny. I'm not perfect, I'm not good or evil, I'm human. I'm not the favorite life form of an entity, or most hated life form. I'm just me, and it's fine.
Now that I take care of myself, and fight for what I think is right, not what some book told me, I've found my life to have much more meaning.
Your life does have much more meaning. We did not choose this life. It was given to us by God. How we live it is up to us. We all do not live happy lives. God did not give us life to make us suffer. God gave us life. We need to live (Free will)and the time will come when all will be be set right. Evil will be given evil. Good will be given good. It may sound simple... But this is how can try to make the best of my life.

I became a Christian when I was twelve and my life has changed in such a great way, but the things outside of me have gotten worse, dad was arrested, my dog almost died, I've been sleep deprived for a month, my friend wanted to kill them self, my sister miscarried, my brother moved away, my dad is making it hard for my mum, and a lot of people hate me and don't mind showing me that they do.
When you have a purpose your life gets hard at some point, satan doesn't want you to think that you are good enough, and he wants you to feel only pain. He doesn't want you think that you have a purpose.
Please pray that I feel better. I'm always anxious or afraid of life. Sometimes life feels fake and it's just scary. Please pray for me to overcome this.

I remember that i didn't finish my homework. I don't have a choice so i do it in school. I was so very tense cause i think what if i cant finished it im dommed. The Lord helps me in my studied even though i didn’t ask him for it! :) I wasn’t able to listen to our previous discussions because i want to focus TO HIM and studies make me feel sluggish... I dont study but ONE TIME I TOOK THE QUIZ AND ANSWERED THEM ALL CORRECTLY! I knew it wasn’t because i’m good but because God rewarded me since i overcome satan’s temptation to cheat through his help. Although i already gave up self ambition, i didn’t lose my dreams it’s just because i realized that everything we are as christians is within the kingdom of God. Don’t cram for temporary victories, make time for God, love him with all your heart and he will make all things to work for good for you.

Yes God, I love this video. I will share with my friends on Facebook and get your book as well. I want everything Christian and everything that tell the truth about the True Living God. I don't listen to secular music that degrades women or talk about gang or shootings anymore just because that stuff can poison your mind. The tv shows, movies, if it is not Godly or positive I don't watch it. We have to guard our hearts against such things and I don't want to be in bondage again. Thank you so much for sharing this video. It's 4:00 in the morning and I'm up early so I can complete my school work. I'm a single mother of two who feels the weight of providing for my family. I work almost 40 hours a week between two jobs, go to school full time, and have two teenagers to take care of. I've gotten a lot of help from others, which I am so thankful for, but other people shouldn't have to pick up the pieces for my mistakes and bad choices. I couldn't have gone back to school if it wasn't for the help of others. Years of depending on other people to support you and your family is very burdensome and I've struggled greatly with this. I finally had hope that I was meant for more than just existing and living a co-dependent life. I'm going to be graduating in 6 months and I'm terrified that I won't find enough freelance work to provide for me and my kids, which will leave me right where I started 2 1/2 years ago when I started school. I have a painting in my room of two young women, who I believe are sisters, standing on a dirt road. They both have vats of water in their hands as if they were coming from a well. The difference is the older one is holding onto her water tightly and looking back over her shoulder at the younger one who is joyously pouring hers out into the hands of a beggar. It reminds me very much of Mary and Martha. I've lived like Martha most of my life, but with such a longing to want to sit at my Daddy's feet. At times, I let go of my cares of this world and spend time in worship and studying the Word, but only for a moment because there is always so much to be done. Troy, when you mentioned you have your own business, I knew my Father was speaking to me through you and He's telling me He's got this. I read the bible, I could only find Yahweh (or "god" as you call him) sinning.
1 Samuel 15:3 He ordered the murder of children.
Psalms 135:8 & 136:10 He is praised for murdering children.
Psalms 137:9 He commands that infants be "dashed across the rocks".
Leviticus 20:9 God kills more children.
Judges 11:30-40 God commands a man to burn his only child, his daughter, to death as a sacrifice to him.
Jeremiah 11:22-23 God kills young men, and then starves children to death.
Jeremiah 19:7-9 God makes parents eat their own children, and friends eat each other.
Lamentations 2:20-22 God gets angry and mercilessly torments and kills everyone, young and old. He even causes women to eat their children.
Proverbs 13:24, 19:18, 22:15, 23:13-14 & 29:15 God commands repeatedly that you beat your children.
After reading your bibles (yes plural, I have read 3 versions of the Christian bible thus far), I don't wish for him to be in control of anything...

Hi, I'm hindu and from India and yet i belirve in all spiritual sayings by god because I find every saying of god whether it's Jesus or a Hindu god to be with the same ultimate meaning. I have been worryung so much these days about future and health and fell sick. I have been atheist for a long time now. But from yesterday night, i began to think of god and sleep at night and i was pain free the next morning. I hereafter would not leave my relationship with god no matter what. God is truly powerful. Hello Troy, I really do appreciate your videos. I'm a Catholic Christian, an African living in Africa. I use the internet a lot to learn about so many topics, GOD included. I'm really in need of Jesus in my life. I just keep on falling. I get up, but I fall again. I even once decided to stop praying to God. Then I spoke to my mum and she spoke me out. @@TroyBlack Thanks for the advice. I have actually decided to include the phrase "I'm a Child of God, He loves me, and wants me to be happy", into my personal Mantra. I repeat it every day in my life now, at least twice per day. I hold and will hold onto Jesus, and continue following your videos. May you and your family stay blessed in Jesus Christ.
@@TroyBlack Thanks Troy, I will follow the sermon in some minutes. I agree 100% that the purpose of God for us all (His children) is to be Holy. But when I talk about Happiness here, I mean I was not happy to be alive. For practically 6-9 months I have not been happy with this precious gift of God, which is my life. I say it with quite some sadness and shame, but I just felt so so sad about my life. I cried so so much in depression, prayers, and anger. I prayed and tried to Hold on to the Lord's teachings, but I was just not happy. So after some time, I realized there's no way for me to be Holy and keep on praying to God if I'm not happy of the life He gave me, to make good use of it. I never considered that God wants me to happy and not sad. So I have decided to never be sad with my life, to graciously accept all situations of my life in Happiness, and to serve good with joy in all times.

This is the message I'd remind myself everyday, when all circumstances are against me. It gives me the courage to face anything because I know God is there. I kid you not, I was moved rather than saved to better things at every end of the rope, to a point I've stopped worrying.
