I am so very concerned for our country. You compared our country to a ship with a message that the Lord had given you. On July 27th, during a youth rally, after prayer I opened my eyes and I could see an American flag that was upside down. I looked up the meaning of a flag that is upside down and it is a signal used by ships of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property. This is even more confirmation for me that we need to be in prayer for our nation. There was another prayer and this time when I open my eyes our American flag and changed. The field of blue with white stars came all the way down to the bottom of the flag where stripes used to be. The stripes on the right side of the flag remained.

I'm hoping the vision of the rigging knot slipping when it wasn't supposed to, taking America in a wrong direction is an admonishment to pray. The worst thing that can happen when things go right for a season is we get complacent and let go of the rudder and start to drift. Prayer and vigilance will still be important even when things may turn the right way, and to pray this doesn't happen. Some words of wisdom or word of knowledge are given to help us avoid a situation and not necessarily a definite sign that it will happen no matter what.
The Bible tells us that the test of a true prophet of God is that every word he/ she has spoken happens verbatim. And prophecy must be given before it happens.

After the prophet left, Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed. Before Isaiah left the courtyard, God told Isaiah to go back and tell Hezekiah he would have 15 more years to live. Did God change His mind? No. Hezekiah repented and got his life back in order with God. Not all Word of Knowledge or Word of Wisdom are set in stone. That is the COLOSSAL mistake that many Christians make about these words. I have had several times a relative who has been VERY reliable with seeing the future by the Spirit of God tell me things to come. I took some of them as a warning and prayed in advance and the disaster was averted. What I see with the rigging that was INTENDED to stay together did not and the ship (United States) veered off its intended course is an indication to me that intercessory prayer may very well be able to change that particular course. The rigging knot was supposed to stay together. That means to me that a choice or series of choices will be made to take our nation off course again. God is indicating that what will happen is NOT in His intended plan because the knot was supposed to stay together. If saints stay vigilant and pray, this thing may be averted. Paul told Timothy to pray for ALL men, including rulers. 1Timothy 2:1-2

God said something similar to me yesterday when I was reading about the parting of the Red Sea by Moses. God led the Israelites into a dead end which looked like a huge tactical blunder. I’ve felt convicted about walking in Love lately. It’s like how can people say those things? Or do those things? The truth is that people do terrible things because they are deceived, just like I was before Jesus created clean a clean heart in me! I am so very concerned for our country. You compared our country to a ship with a message that the Lord had given you. On July 27th, during a youth rally, after prayer I opened my eyes and I could see an American flag that was upside down. I looked up the meaning of a flag that is upside down and it is a signal used by ships of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property. This is even more confirmation for me that we need to be in prayer for our nation. There was another prayer and this time when I open my eyes our American flag and changed. The field of blue with white stars came all the way down to the bottom of the flag where stripes used to be. The stripes on the right side of the flag remained.

I'm hoping the vision of the rigging knot slipping when it wasn't supposed to, taking America in a wrong direction is an admonishment to pray. The worst thing that can happen when things go right for a season is we get complacent and let go of the rudder and start to drift. Prayer and vigilance will still be important even when things may turn the right way, and to pray this doesn't happen. Some words of wisdom or word of knowledge are given to help us avoid a situation and not necessarily a definite sign that it will happen no matter what.
The Bible tells us that the test of a true prophet of God is that every word he/ she has spoken happens verbatim. And prophecy must be given before it happens.
@@cherylj.harris4967 you seem to forget that Isaiah came to Hezekiah and told him to get his house in order because he was about to die. After the prophet left, Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed. Before Isaiah left the courtyard, God told Isaiah to go back and tell Hezekiah he would have 15 more years to live. Did God change His mind? No. Hezekiah repented and got his life back in order with God. Not all Word of Knowledge or Word of Wisdom are set in stone. That is the COLOSSAL mistake that many Christians make about these words. I have had several times a relative who has been VERY reliable with seeing the future by the Spirit of God tell me things to come. I took some of them as a warning and prayed in advance and the disaster was averted. What I see with the rigging that was INTENDED to stay together did not and the ship (United States) veered off its intended course is an indication to me that intercessory prayer may very well be able to change that particular course. The rigging knot was supposed to stay together. That means to me that a choice or series of choices will be made to take our nation off course again. God is indicating that what will happen is NOT in His intended plan because the knot was supposed to stay together. If saints stay vigilant and pray, this thing may be averted. Paul told Timothy to pray for ALL men, including rulers. 1Timothy 2:1-2
@@stephensaasen8589 I have not forgotten Isaiah and Hezekiah. God knows exactly where this Nation is headed as the Bible declares He knows the end of a thing to its being. Sometimes, maybe this time, He knows the ship will lose its mooring, but will use it to bring about His purpose for this Nation, shaking all that can be shaken so what remains can not be shaken. Our Nation for sure is at a cross road. Perhaps He will use time, which believe is the End Time, to shake everything we’ve trusted in so to prepare us for His Eternal Kingdom. Sometimes he uses awful persona’s, just as He’s done with other dictators and self servers like Hitler to name just one. Perhaps He’ll give us another chance to repent of self righteous motives that are presenting themselves in the guise of true righteousness, that of God’s righteousness. No matter the road that is taken at this time, my confidence remains in God, His written word, and The Word that became flesh and dwelt among us; as it is written, He watches over His Word to see that it performs the thing which He has sent it to. Reading throughout scripture, especially in Matthew and Revelation, He has spoken concerning end times. What He has written will be performed and seen to by, Himself. So no matter the road taken, in Him we can trust.
