My anxiety has gotten so bad I can't eat because I feel like throwing up and I can't sleep because I dream about the things I fear and I feel alone in dealing with them... oh LORD in Heaven, please forgive me for my lack of faith and trust. Thank you so much for your book Anxious For Nothing! Yesterday, my husband and I received a shut off notice from our electric company and a letter from our apartment stating if we don't pay our rent in 3 days, we would be evicted. We have also been behind on our phone bills and have been struggling to have enough money for gas, food and household essentials. We already knew that with the late fees, his standard paycheck would not cut it. I'm currently at home, 21 weeks pregnant with twins and of course it is very easy to worry about our situation, so I was about to pick up a book written by one of my Pastor's. It was that moment when your book stood out to me on the shelf, as if the Holy Spirit said, "no read that one." So I picked it up, and read the whole book. I even sent some pictures of the words from it to my husband because I knew the Lord was speaking through it. Now I'm here to testify that the amount of peace we received from the Lord made no logical sense because he was even supposed to get paid yesterday, but he didn't. Regardless, we were incredibly calm and collected, we could laugh about our situation. Our faith was strengthened and stood firm in trusting the Lord. We just knew the battle belonged to Him and that He has a plan for our lives. We remembered His faithfulness to us and recognized everything belongs to Him. We know the devil can only do what God allows him to do, so we did not have any more reason to fear. So, today, my husband went to work and he texted me "you are not going to believe this." His job decided to give out bonuses today so they are giving him $900 extra on his paycheck. They have never given out bonuses before, but God, He is always right on time. Thank you Jesus, and thank you again Max Lucado for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you to bring strength and encouragement into our lives when we needed it.
This occurred once in my life. I went to a Methodist, Catholic, and Baptist Church and helped me catch up with electric bill. I was single in my 40's. All 3 churches stated they have special programs for SR citizens.

Gayle, I'm somewhat in the same situation. I never knew that anxiety was the cause of my nervousness and unrest when I was younger. I've been close to God for a long time. I'm thinking this fear must be us simply being human to be afraid at times like this. We must stay strong in our faith and love for Christ. For me, finding out my pancreas is near done working is eye opening. Once again, I will have to alter my lifestyle regiments. We know we aren't spared all things just because we love Jesus. Hang in there, God does not forsake us... For now, at this time, God has a unique plan for us. Im opening my heart and continue listening for His whispering in my life. His leading me. This sermon calmed me down a little. I have had severe anxiety since two days ago because of something I’m about to do next week, a trip I have to take. This anxiety is given me physical symptoms like dizziness, nausea, no appetite, paralysis so I can hardly do anything. It's anxiety associated with fear, can you please pray for me whoever sees this.

I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. Her name is Maria Juracy and she has a serious Lymphoma.
I am reading this as I sit in an empty house. My wife has left, I've lost most everything that I thought mattered to me because of my addiction to alcohol. I have been praying for restoration. I know that God works in his time and it isn't always what we want, but its always what we need. I pray for your Mom Maria that she will be healed but if not that she will know His peace and love. I'm 57, and I've battled depression and anxiety since I was 28. It has been crippling at times. But God!! Thanks be to Jesus Christ for the peace that is in Him!! And yes meds and doctors help, but HE GIVES THE WISDOM AND SKILLS TO HELP US!! ITS ALL JESUS CHRIST!! Many prayers for the countless thousands that suffer. BS , I'm 60 and have been begging and pleading to this gawd for years and still No peace or joy , I haven't prayed in 4 years now and my life is so much better since I found meditation, research it and try it , it's far more effective than prayer to an imaginary friend 👍

I learned about the hatred of “salesmen” at age 8. I knocked on my neighbors’ doors asking for donations to the March of Dimes. Took the abuse of about 10 slams before I quit. Broke my heart that they couldn’t be kind. I think they taught me to be unkind-until I decided I want to honor God in all I do-61 years later. I know Jesus’ gift of the cross he bore is how I am forgiven. I still speak my mind, sometimes lacking kindness, but come to my senses knowing I am forgiven as long as I let God know I am sorry and will continue to honor Him despite my shortcomings. Praise God and Jesus!

( because this is all I can do from here). Please consider looking into diet changes. I believe diet has devastating destruction or immense healing powers in it. (Second only to our faith and promises from God). Just pull up Podcasts or RUclips videos on diet, anxiety and depression! This is another weapon in your arsenal that you can be in control of right where you are. Sweet sweet peace and blessings to all struggling with this. Last year I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety over a medication that was administered at Kaiser . I had suffered three panic attacks over the last year and worried a lot about something bad always going to happen. While anxiety is not fun n is always present. I know my Lord is always there walking with me . Anxiety came knocking at my door to recognize that I need to be close to him, to work in his ministry and give all my worries to him. There is reason why anxiety is here and I know my Lord will lift me up. I pray, read his word every day and meditate in his word . Great sermon I

I’ve had the sane since age 10. I did not know what they were, but I just said it was frightening. I ended up continuing to have them off and on, and I had full-blown agoraphobia our housebound for many many years. I did find a Christian counselor who had been in Vietnam, and had PE yesterday and helped me with the trauma that I had experienced and I had apparently pushed a lot of it down. I went through cognitive therapy and much prayer. I was in a very bad marriage regarding alcoholism, when he was sober he was great, but when he was drunk, he was horrible. I stayed until the Laura had me leave since then I have gone through cancer and many many illnesses, but I have not experienced the panic attacks when I had had them I learned how to deal with stress ideally, thank the Lord for giving me his strength which was made perfect in my weakness. If God could take care of me and bring me out of it, he can do the same for you. God bless you and you are in my prayers.

I'm convinced to quit going to that depressing information from now on and instead focus on what God has in store for me. Salvation in place of doom. Lord, direct me in the right path, I'm getting so weary, don't know if I can go on much longer. I have to keep working at 62 with health problems. If I eat the wrong foods, I swell badly. This video was a blessing and a direct answer to prayer. I was completely blocked from anxiety for 40 yrs., and very fearful of how to survive the days we now face. In case you ever wonder if God uses your ministry, he does. Thank God and thank you from the bottom of my heart. The end of a painful journey and the beginning of one filled with gratitude and hope. Incredible how God answers prayer.✝️
This was a wonderful sermon, thank you for offering it here for us to experience it. It saddens me how much anxiety is in the world today, especially among the young, so many seem to find no purpose or meaning anymore. I'm really not sure exactly how or when I met Jesus but I was already an adult living a life I was not happy in or proud of. It happened sort of how you run in to someone occasionally and over time you end up talking to them more and more until you develop an intimate friendship. Knowing the Lord has allowed me the love and grace I was seeking, the direction and purpose to raise my own children now knowing Him. "Be anxious for nothing" is my favorite scripture and I repeat it to myself almost daily, and Max is correct - rejoicing the Lord and giving thanks is the strongest medicine known to man. As a single mother in a world that is growing ever more crazy trying to maintain my family and my home, it is my habit to talk to God on my drive to work every morning. To be sure, I talk to Jesus all day long, but that morning drive is a dedicated time to say, "Good morning God, thank you for this day, -" and continue on, "Thank you for the rain the animals and rivers need it, or thank you for this hot sun I bet the grasshoppers like that, thank you for my car, thank you for the streets that take me to work, thank you for my job that I can support my family, thank you for my children I am so blessed that you trusted me to be their mother, ..." and on and on it goes, giving thanks, asking for help, and exclaiming at all the beautiful things I see on my drive, the flowers, the clouds, whatever, "Thank you for my eyes that I got to see your artwork!" As I park at work I say one last thing, I pray that I will work with grace and to His glory that day. I am still a work in progress, but this sermon touched me and I wanted to say to everyone else, it's true, Be Anxious For Nothing. It takes practice to really believe this is true, but it is, God told you not to worry about it, that's pretty cool, and pretty powerful.
I needed this so much in my life at this particular moment. I always forget to count my many blessings, God is an everlasting Father, the more grateful the heart the less anxious the soul, meditate on good things, don't let anxious negative thoughts take over your minds, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
A very Worldly sermon preaching what God can do for me. Perhaps if we focused on God and what we can do for Him, all these worldly issues would be resolved.
Brought here due to understanding that I need help with my severe anxiety attacks. They are rare & short, but debilitating when they happen. Seeking guidance and prayers to help me heal this outdated response. God is always in my life daily, through prayer, which is a miracle in and of itself since I turned away from him for a few years. Those were fun times, but they were also punctuated with moments of clarity that life would be better with God since they were also very dark times in some personal choices. So here I am, asking for prayer to help guide me closer back to God and the me he’s created. It’s always been the same under all of the layers, but I just had to learn to shed what was added to me. Thank you.
Been dealing w anxiety forever. Christian counseling-prayer-headaches +fear I know it's sin but it almost never leaves. The Lord got me thru 40 years as a nurse-i supported my children+put them thru Christian school-only bc the Lord gave me the strength. Many days felt like torture. But day by day He was there.

Dear pastor; I had a problem since two month ago,everyday I could not sleep and think properly. I cannot get rid off the one incident. I have changed my energetic working habit into not- competent my self. I am not no longer to give my consultant to clients any more. When I found your sermon and watched it, I was crying and I remember God who is. He is my consultant. What a simple: I am going to ask help to Him all the time. Everybody in God’s Peace !

Philippians 4:4- 8 has been my life verse. Anxiety has ruled my life but I have learned and still learning to battle by praising my Lord. Now as my husband and I age and face his dementia having moved from our home in California, our church and our friends to the Salt Lake desert to gain help from our daughters, I struggle again with the anxiety of the future. Yesterday, my husband and I received a shut off notice from our electric company and a letter from our apartment stating if we don't pay our rent in 3 days, we would be evicted. We have also been behind on our phone bills and have been struggling to have enough money for gas, food and household essentials. We already knew that with the late fees, his standard paycheck would not cut it. I'm currently at home, 21 weeks pregnant with twins and of course it is very easy to worry about our situation, so I was about to pick up a book written by one of my Pastor's. It was that moment when your book stood out to me on the shelf, as if the Holy Spirit said, "no read that one." So I picked it up, and read the whole book. I even sent some pictures of the words from it to my husband because I knew the Lord was speaking through it.
Now I'm here to testify that the amount of peace we received from the Lord made no logical sense because he was even supposed to get paid yesterday, but he didn't. Regardless, we were incredibly calm and collected, we could laugh about our situation. Our faith was strengthened and stood firm in trusting the Lord. We just knew the battle belonged to Him and that He has a plan for our lives. We remembered His faithfulness to us and recognized everything belongs to Him. We know the devil can only do what God allows him to do, so we did not have any more reason to fear.
So, today, my husband went to work and he texted me "you are not going to believe this." His job decided to give out bonuses today so they are giving him $900 extra on his paycheck. They have never given out bonuses before, but God, He is always right on time. Thank you Jesus, and thank you again Max Lucado for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you to bring strength and encouragement into our lives when we needed it.

This occurred once in my life. I went to a Methodist, Catholic, and Baptist Church and helped me catch up with electric bill. I was single in my 40's. All 3 churches stated they have special programs for SR citizens.
I have a similar testimony.. I was a Hindu until god decides to show me who he is and helped me by Dr Charles swindoll study Bible. Today i am calm and peaceful even in the middle of storms.

I’ve suffered with anxiety since I was a child. It’s gut wrenching. I was just diagnosed with melanoma. Talk about anxiety… god help me through this.. amen
I am not a specialist in this area, however I found a great book with great info, "The Mood Cure" its about amino acids. I started with NALT mentioned by Dr. Ardis and just started to research more. Hope this info helps.

Gayle, I'm somewhat in the same situation. I never knew that anxiety was the cause of my nervousness and unrest when I was younger. I've been close to God for a long time. I'm thinking this fear must be us simply being human to be afraid at times like this. We must stay strong in our faith and love for Christ. For me, finding out my pancreas is near done working is eye opening. Once again, I will have to alter my lifestyle regiments. We know we aren't spared all things just because we love Jesus. Hang in there, God does not forsake us... For now, at this time, God has a unique plan for us. Im opening my heart and continue listening for His whispering in my life. His leading me. This sermon calmed me down a little. I have had severe anxiety since two days ago because of something I’m about to do next week, a trip I have to take. This anxiety is given me physical symptoms like dizziness, nausea, no appetite, paralysis so I can hardly do anything. It's anxiety associated with fear, can you please pray for me whoever sees this.

I was listening to this song when I was on my knees, crying for my mom’s health. I was devastated because she has cancer and wasn’t doing well at all. God talked to me through this praise, and when I opened the Bible, it was Psalms 27. God confirmed that we should just wait on Him. We still need a miracle, but now we have faith and praise while we wait! My mom is a woman who follows our Lord’s words, and I ask you to pray for her health as well. Her name is Maria Juracy and she has a serious Lymphoma.
I am reading this as I sit in an empty house. My wife has left, I've lost most everything that I thought mattered to me because of my addiction to alcohol. I have been praying for restoration. I know that God works in his time and it isn't always what we want, but its always what we need. I pray for your Mom Maria that she will be healed but if not that she will know His peace and love. I learned about the hatred of “salesmen” at age 8. I knocked on my neighbors’ doors asking for donations to the March of Dimes. Took the abuse of about 10 slams before I quit. Broke my heart that they couldn’t be kind. I think they taught me to be unkind-until I decided I want to honor God in all I do-61 years later. I know Jesus’ gift of the cross he bore is how I am forgiven. I still speak my mind, sometimes lacking kindness, but come to my senses knowing I am forgiven as long as I let God know I am sorry and will continue to honor Him despite my shortcomings. Praise God and Jesus!

( because this is all I can do from here). Please consider looking into diet changes. I believe diet has devastating destruction or immense healing powers in it. (Second only to our faith and promises from God). Just pull up Podcasts or RUclips videos on diet, anxiety and depression! This is another weapon in your arsenal that you can be in control of right where you are. Sweet sweet peace and blessings to all struggling with this. I realize this is bigger than simply diet, but I know that I know…this has a dramatic affect and is within your power to change.

In the OLD TESTAMENT, in Ps. 55, it says
"CAST YOUR CARES ON THE LORD, AND HE WILL SUSTAIN YOU."
St. Peter reiterates this with "CAST YOUR CARES ON HIM, FOR HE CARETH FOR YOU." I try to imagine just kind of shrugging my shoulders and letting my worries slide off--Like water off a duck's back. :)

Last year I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety over a medication that was administered at Kaiser . I had suffered three panic attacks over the last year and worried a lot about something bad always going to happen.
While anxiety is not fun n is always present. I know my Lord is always there walking with me . Anxiety came knocking at my door to recognize that I need to be close to him, to work in his ministry and give all my worries to him. There is reason why anxiety is here and I know my Lord will lift me up. I pray, read his word every day and meditate in his word .

Focus on God, and His Goodness. Believe in the word of Jesus Christs and His Faithfullness. Focus on the Price, set a goal, run your race on your lane.
I have anxiety but my gratitude has not been removed. I am grateful for waking up, breathing and the ability to walk, talk, sing and pray. I pray for 1/2 hour everyday and I have powerful prayers. I am blessed beyond measure and if I needed to write all my blessings it would go on forever. I so love this message, its 4 me and everyone who has anxiety. God Bless each one of you in a Mighty Way!!🙏🙏

I’ve had the sane since age 10. I did not know what they were, but I just said it was frightening. I ended up continuing to have them off and on, and I had full-blown agoraphobia our housebound for many many years. I did find a Christian counselor who had been in Vietnam, and had PE yesterday and helped me with the trauma that I had experienced and I had apparently pushed a lot of it down. I went through cognitive therapy and much prayer. I was in a very bad marriage regarding alcoholism, when he was sober he was great, but when he was drunk, he was horrible. I stayed until the Laura had me leave since then I have gone through cancer and many many illnesses, but I have not experienced the panic attacks when I had had them I learned how to deal with stress ideally, thank the Lord for giving me his strength which was made perfect in my weakness. If God could take care of me and bring me out of it, he can do the same for you. God bless you and you are in my prayers.
Glad I found this instead of the events, and nonsense going on in this fallen world. I'm convinced to quit going to that depressing information from now on and instead focus on what God has in store for me. Salvation in place of doom. I do feel much better now that I have been avoiding true news, bad news and chaos. Thank you!

Lord, direct me in the right path, I'm getting so weary, don't know if I can go on much longer. I have to keep working at 62 with health problems. If I eat the wrong foods, I swell badly. I've got people stealing from me and laughing about it. I just ask Jesus to please give me some relief soon, very soon.

This was a wonderful sermon, thank you for offering it here for us to experience it. It saddens me how much anxiety is in the world today, especially among the young, so many seem to find no purpose or meaning anymore.
I'm really not sure exactly how or when I met Jesus but I was already an adult living a life I was not happy in or proud of. It happened sort of how you run in to someone occasionally and over time you end up talking to them more and more until you develop an intimate friendship. Knowing the Lord has allowed me the love and grace I was seeking, the direction and purpose to raise my own children now knowing Him. "Be anxious for nothing" is my favorite scripture and I repeat it to myself almost daily, and Max is correct - rejoicing the Lord and giving thanks is the strongest medicine known to man.
As a single mother in a world that is growing ever more crazy trying to maintain my family and my home, it is my habit to talk to God on my drive to work every morning. To be sure, I talk to Jesus all day long, but that morning drive is a dedicated time to say, "Good morning God, thank you for this day, -" and continue on, "Thank you for the rain the animals and rivers need it, or thank you for this hot sun I bet the grasshoppers like that, thank you for my car, thank you for the streets that take me to work, thank you for my job that I can support my family, thank you for my children I am so blessed that you trusted me to be their mother, ..." and on and on it goes, giving thanks, asking for help, and exclaiming at all the beautiful things I see on my drive, the flowers, the clouds, whatever, "Thank you for my eyes that I got to see your artwork!" As I park at work I say one last thing, I pray that I will work with grace and to His glory that day.
I am still a work in progress, but this sermon touched me and I wanted to say to everyone else, it's true, Be Anxious For Nothing. It takes practice to really believe this is true, but it is, God told you not to worry about it, that's pretty cool, and pretty powerful.

I needed this so much in my life at this particular moment. I always forget to count my many blessings, God is an everlasting Father, the more grateful the heart the less anxious the soul, meditate on good things, don't let anxious negative thoughts take over your minds, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
A very Worldly sermon preaching what God can do for me. Perhaps if we focused on God and what we can do for Him, all these worldly issues would be resolved.

Brought here due to understanding that I need help with my severe anxiety attacks. They are rare & short, but debilitating when they happen. Seeking guidance and prayers to help me heal this outdated response. God is always in my life daily, through prayer, which is a miracle in and of itself since I turned away from him for a few years. Those were fun times, but they were also punctuated with moments of clarity that life would be better with God since they were also very dark times in some personal choices. So here I am, asking for prayer to help guide me closer back to God and the me he’s created. It’s always been the same under all of the layers, but I just had to learn to shed what was added to me. I know it's sin but it almost never leaves. The Lord got me thru 40 years as a nurse-i supported my children+put them thru Christian school-only bc the Lord gave me the strength. Many days felt like torture. But day by day He was there.

I had a problem since two month ago,everyday I could not sleep and think properly. I cannot get rid off the one incident. I have changed my energetic working habit into not- competent my self. I am not no longer to give my consultant to clients any more. When I found your sermon and watched it, I was crying and I remember God who is. He is my consultant. What a simple: I am going to ask help to Him all the time.

Philippians 4:4- 8 has been my life verse. Anxiety has ruled my life but I have learned and still learning to battle by praising my Lord. Now as my husband and I age and face his dementia having moved from our home in California, our church and our friends to the Salt Lake desert to gain help from our daughters, I struggle again with the anxiety of the future.
