    The problem with active (and all Electronic stabe) is that it might stabilise the footage but the motion blur is still there. Always use as fast of a shutter speed as possible if you are going to use electronic stabe.

    With the vlogger kit handle, can you hinge it down then re-screw the camera so you can hold upright and shoot vertical?

      Even with the Sony GP-VPT2BT Wireless Shooting Grip
      BH #SOGPVPT2BT, the camera wouldd still be in a horizonal/landscape orientation. >Mark

      The Face Detection Frame can be used to focus on more than one subject. The following link would be to the user guide which explains the set up. bit.ly/39fYlEd

    Is there a setting on the ZV-1 to still film on the tripod horizontally, but have the video come out vertically?

    • @BandH
      @BandH  2 года назад

      Vertical video tagging for easy sharing:
      The ZV-1 can add meta tags to vertically recorded video6, allowing immediate uploading to mobile-friendly platforms - no PC rotation or cropping required (Imaging Edge Mobile application is required). >Mark

    I bought my Sony ZV1 and didn't like it. When the camera is filming your face, it's incredible, but when you need to take shots of landscapes, you have to walk very slowly; otherwise, the video gets blurry, this is very sux. I expected more in terms of that.

      You may want to try using a fan to cool the camera body and mount the camera on a tripod to allow free air circulation. >Mark

      there is a setting to set the Auto Power Off. Set it to Hi and it will last much longer. Setting is in the Auto Power OFF Temp.
      MENU → (Setup) → [Auto Power OFF Temp.] → High .
      By default it on Standard with is much shorter and you have to change it.

      @@robstravelsadventures thank you I’ll try it. I do use a tripod I even open the screen so it’s not hot. I’m trying to make beauty content but can’t if it’s only going 10 mins at a time. Thank you. Appreciate.

    ZV1 is an awesome camera but a lot of the features are gimmicks - ( single settings ND Filter, 1080p is not sharp, background defocus button).

    Footage in 4K is too shaky even with active stabilization.

  • @martysender5539
    @martysender5539 2 года назад +2

    great camera except for a major crippler. Stabilization, or lack thereof. every shot walking you showed had micro jitters. awful. the digital stabilization does a poor job. Even holding the camera with that tripod thing does not provide smooth footage. Sony should have deigned a floating gimbal head for the tripod. nope. not there. Interesting camera but for Vlogging?
