  • This is a 28 minute yin yoga class. For the class, you'll need a bolster or something similar to a bolster like a couch cushion or a really thick blanket. Get creative, use what you have, go grab it, and give this video a try. Yin is a slow practice - you won't be moving a whole lot - you'll be very passive in each pose, and it's great for flexibility.

Haven’t done yin in a few years and this is just the session to help start back up my practice. Thank you ❤❤

What a lovely, relaxing practice :) I wanted to get on my mat today but I have my period and I also have a cold, so I really needed something that would be gentle and relaxing. This was just perfect. I also really enjoyed that heart opener at the beginning, I feel like it was so good for my neck! I've been working on my laptop a lot lately and feel like I'm always looking down at it, so stretching my neck in the other direction really did me good.

This was just what I needed! And I learned some things about how to use my bolster that I didn't know - never thought to turn it on its side. Thank you, Candace!

I really liked this. I have one knee that doesn’t bend very well since 3 surgeries and injuries. This bolstered child pose was the first time I could hang out without pain! Thankyou!

AWESOME! So happy to hear that. Yes, in ANY yoga video, always feel free to use a prop to help accommodate whatever your body needs.

Nice practice. I was going to try to do 40 minutes on something else, but it proved too taxing after being sick tonight. This was juuuu-uuust right. Liked the change of finishing in Child's Pose. Thanks! 🌵💗

Is there a reason for silence while we are holding the poses? I have always had some music. Just wondering.

Hi a roller foam does work for this? At least for laying down on the back position for the upper back and shoulders? Thanks in advance

You don’t give any options for people who can’t do pigeon pose 👎🏻

This really slow style of practice is excellent for releasing tight fascia which is what's generally responsible for tightness and the feeling of being inflexible. Sounds like it just wasn't for you.

Oh oh oh, way to long in pigeon pose. 4 minutes is very uncomfortable for that pose. :( I don't feel good .

One of my least favourite poses as well but I push myself to stay as long as possible and it does get easier the more you do it! If it hurts, it shows us that we need the stretch :)
