  • Hello and welcome to this video.
In this video i will fit a TTG Emporium lighting kit to a Hornby class 90 that was sent to me by Micheal. This kit is superb for DC users, but DCC users may feel a little let down after fitting; as i explain in the video.
    Thanks for looking.

Loved your presentation. Should have thought of lighting for my Class 91.

Surely utilising the White/Yellow/Blue wired connection on the decoder socket would resolve this so lights are controlled by the decoder..?

I doubt it would. There are no instructions for the installation with those coloured wires, so get it wrong and it’ll pop the LED’s. Also there are no resistors fitted which are needed apparently for DCC lights.

@@dansmodelrailways7886 Either they are 12v LED or already have resistors in them...otherwise they would already have popped with 12 v dc applied to them...and if wired up wrong then they will just not work....having said that I'm thinking as I'm typing and with only 2 wires from the light unit , your going to struggle as DCC requires 3 wires to Yellow blue and white so I'm thinking it's a bit of a dead end anyway. However , I enjoy the channel Dan, keep up the great work 🙂👍
