+nyshortline maybe because i like natural things , and without the acrylics those nails would have broken off long ago... i guess if you look at it as art its a matter of taste and the design looks to me very tacky and cheap (maybe she pays alot for them )... but everyone has their own opinions and dislikes
Yes, true. But I am just curious as to how people see long nails as disgusting and gross. I just don't see what they are seeing. But yes you're right, it boils down to what you just mentioned about personal likes and dislikes. Me, I always thought of long nails (like up to 1" past the fingertips) as elegant, classy, and ladylike. But because everybody texts and types these days it is almost totally non-existent today. Yet it was almost omnipresent when I was growing up in the 1970's.
ms dangel666, i say i admire you, when i was 13 i grew out my nails for a couple years and had them painted and stuff, they were almost that long, but i could not get used to them, and this gypsy woman done my nails for her nails were tremendously long and had all kinds of jewels hanging off them, but now i keep them an inch an a half long, which now my natural nails wont grow, i have to keep fake ones on, if i want long nails, but yours look ab-fab!!!
