You could literally make a video about putting spread on a slice of bread and it would still be interesting lmao
haha well thank you!
@@IsabellaDemarko Please make more nail videos
You are the best
I love how you can wait overnight to do your second coat and then there’s me who buys quick drying nail polish just because I’m that impatient.
😂 😂 😂 Me too
Omg I hope you see this isabella but you have made me so happy about my image over the years and I wanna thank you for that 💕
im so glad to hear it xx
am I the only one obsessed with nail care routines💀😌?
Nope. I wish there were more. I've seen all of them😂😂😂🤦🏻♀️
@@nicoledobra me too lmaooooo
Can I be a little annoying and give you some tips/recommendations?? hahahahah
First, instead of using nail polish remover to save dry polish, I would recomend you to use an actual nail polish thinner. Those are formulated especifically for this purpose and they preserve 100% of the nail polish characteristics and quality. And are super easy to find at the drugstore.
And second: I totally recomend you to try using a "pure" top coat, instead of the 2 in 1 formula. It will not only make your manicure last A LOT longer, but will also help it to dry so much faster, and with no dents or wierd marks... Even when I have nail polish bubbles, a good top coat totally saves my manicure.
I absolutely love your manicure videos!! You are awesome Isabella! Much love from Brasil (:
Funny, I try to get my nail polish as close to the cuticle as possible. Leaving a gap just makes it look like the varnish is already growing out 🤔
if you get the gap small enough it looks great.
Same, I just use a Q-tip dipped in polish remover to clean the cuticle if I accidentally paint over
The gap between the cuticle and the polish makes the polish last longer (if you use a top coat) because it encapsulates the base and color :)
I also bite the skin around my nails but only when it's dry. So for me it helps to keep my hands moisturized because when my skin is soft and smooth there aren't any "edges" to start biting
one trick i learned recently from watching love4nails, she tops up her manicure with top coat every other day or throughout the week to keep it strong
yeahh but it feels like a waste of nail polish and takes forever to remove lol
I love these non music videos. You put so much quality in ur videos, always a pleasure to watch them.
thank you !
Hack for your crystal/glass nail file, wash it after you use to get rid of the white shavings and it’s brand new! That way it will last a really long time without becoming blunt
needed this today! my nails kept peeling because of the cold weather so had to cut them down to about the same length as yours! excited to start growing them long again all new and fresh - thanks girl
Such a lovely relaxing vid, love how u never overdo it by screaming or load background music lmao
aha thanks!
Nooooooo don't put nail polish remover in nailpolish! There's actually things called nail polish thinner, it works way better and it's actually replacing the ingredients that 'flew' out. It's really not expensive and so much better for your nailpolish.
i didn't realise that existed, but ive been doing this for years and it works just fine. most of my nail polish is on the cheaper so it's not a big deal for me.
@@IsabellaDemarko it actually does more bad than good for your nail polish over time, plus it’s probably what’s keeping your nails from drying.
@@IsabellaDemarko looking from a chemistry side of things it basically works the same, a thinner or remover are both going to evaporate as the polish dries they are both solvents. But I think some people notice that sometimes when painting a 2nd coat it lifts/melts the 1st coat off as well. but if you want to use remover, I would recommend using pure acetone as the other removers have all those added things (nourishing ingredients). I have noticed that using any remover can cause the polish to discolor over time in the bottle.
@@tanvi.x i do this and it works! 😁
@@tanvi.x techinally nail polish thinner replaces all the ingredients that keep the nail polish ‘liquidy’ but have evaporated over time though
They make stain-blocker specific base coats that work decently. Most of the "hacks" to whiten your nails can be very damaging, so please be careful. Staining isn't pretty, but I think of it as incentive to keep my nails maintained lol
Do you have recommendations for these stain blocking base coats?
@@curateddaisies4128 I like the one from SuperChic Lacquer.
You should dry out your nail bed with acetone before applying you base coat because the oil will make the nail varnish chip faster.
no, thats exactly what i said not to do because it dries out your nails xD
@@IsabellaDemarko you can then rehydrate with cuticle oil xD
@@IsabellaDemarko They're actually right with this. Rubbing a bit of acetone on the actual nail itself helps remove that shine and gives a better base for polish. After you've applied the polish, hydrate around the cuticle with nail oil.
Rubbing alcohol / isopropyl alcohol, or a proper nail dehydrator, even distilled vinegar, also works very well, and is a lot less harsh than acetone. I know as I used to do it, then started with the acetone and my nail health has seriously declined since I tried that. So reverting back to tried and trusted... For me personally. Of course, everybody’s nails are different, and may be able to go with acetone alone.
nailpolish remover actually slowly eats away at your nail polish so it’s better to buy a acetone free nail polish thinner :)
Definitely true about the cuticle removal boosting your nail growth! And in case you didnt know it, a trick I use for applying nail polish is so wash them in cold water afterwards. They dry in seconds this way👍
Nail oil: You shouldnt use a random cuticle oil since most of the random one's use vegetable oil, Whice sit's on top of your nail expect of soaking in the nail hydrating it, I recommend using pure jojoba oil, And if that's a little to thin for you, you can always mix in vitamin - E oil. And make sure oil your cuticle's and nails 4-6 times a day! Make sure to the underneath of your nails!
Nailpolish staining: Use a stain protecting base coat!
Cuticles: Use a cuticle remover, It's liquid you put on your grown cuticles and you let it sit for a while then you gently scrape it off with a rubber or wooden cuticle stick, When you scrape it off, It scrapes your cuticles off too, Don't leave it on for too long it eats your skin! Make sure to wash your hands after wards!
And any of you tend to bite your nails use a base coat that is for people who bite their nails, I forgot what it's called.
Simply gang? ;)

I'm a medical student and when we were learning about nail conditions we were told that the cuticle is really important in preventing infections. We told our tutor that people get it cut off and he was so shocked 😂
I always re-watch your nail videos because I just love them
thank you
@@IsabellaDemarko ❤️❤️
Hey, I’ve bit at the skin on my fingers since I was a kid! I picked up crocheting and knitting, and that helped immensely. I hardly do it anymore!! Keeping my hands busy is definitely the key!
YES! I never bit, but I pick a lot, so i always have to be doing something with my hands. I’m either coloring or using a random fidget.
I also wait till the next day to give my nails a second coat!!! If I don't I will always at least ruin one nail that I can't fix. Love you! ❤️
I m obsessed with her videos....i just love her accent...her videos are just sooooo relaxing....love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Pleaseee use a top coat. It will prevent the nail polish from chipping and going into places like your food. If you have trouble removing your nail polish then file the top coat off and then remove it.
This is such a good video to me. I've been a biter of my nails and fingers because of OCD. It's really nice to see someone showing the damaged state and maintanance rather than perfection and in a way that's fun to follow along with💅🧡
i looove to see an updated version of your nail care routine ! i'm making them over right now so yayy 💖🦋
Natural nail care videos feel so relaxing to watch.
Hey thank you for this video I really needed it... sometimes when I'm extra anxious or feeling down my nails get neglected and now you've inspired me to take care of them again ☺💅🏼 also, I've seen other comments saying this but DO NOT put nail varnish remover in your nail polish, instead use a nail polish thinner please! And before painting your nails it's better to have them dry out, I'd recommend a nail dehydrater- so don't apply the polish right after cleaning your nails in water and leave cuticle oil until after you've finished painting- nails will hold onto the water and oil and this actually like, plumps up your nails and softens them and changes their shape... then if you cover them in this state with polish, once they dry out under the polish they are less 'plump' (hydrated) and the shape goes back, making the polish chip and crack (hope that makes sense)... having the water and oil trapped under the polish also increases staining pretty dramatically. Also, I hardly ever push my cuticles back, I just leave them, and my nails grow so so fast, to me it actually feels wrong to push back your cuticles as far down as you do, because they're there to protect. Finally, maybe you have good reason for not painting up to the cuticle but I always paint as close to the cuticle as I can, because yours kind of look already grown out a little by having the gap if you know what I mean. However I do love the tip about leaving a really good amount of time between layers... if I'm lounging at home for a couple days and not doing much I will take the old polish off in the morning, and then apply some nail strengthening base coat (perhaps two layers of this), then that night I'll apply the first layer of polish... then the next morning I'll apply the second coat of polish, and then that afternoon apply the top coat... its a lot of time to wait but it is so worth it to me- my nails last so much longer when each layer is fully dry (could do this every Saturday and Sunday). Also, another final tip from me is to apply base coat and top coat to the back of your nails and the top and the sides of your nails... 1 it just helps to seal down the polish and 2 it makes your nails stronger with the extra layers underneath. I just wanted to write out this comment to help and give advice to you and anyone else watching this video- I hope you don't take it the wrong way, I'm not telling you what to do, I just wanted to offer some advice from experience 😊 love your videos, thank you for making them 🥰❤
I highly recommend looking up simplynailogical for any nail problems. Yellow nails are going to be inevitable if you paint them frequently. Also they have a product that is meant to thin nailpolish formula. Do not put nail polish remover in your nailpolish bottles because it will ruin the formula ☺️
Great steps for this wintet nail care. Personally I keep moisturizing my hand all the times through out the day to keep my cuticle soft.
Tap the surface of your nails against each other after washing your hands to know if it’s 100% dried - if it feels a tiny bit sticky, then it means you could still smudge it or make dents. If it feels like marbles, then it’s completely dry. This trick has been a life-saver. I do it after washing my hands because sometimes if the nails have a bit of oil or grease, it will feel like marbles and I’d think it was fully dry but it wasn’t
I just remembered that I discovered your channel through a video where you were cutting your nails! They were so long back then!
hahah oh dear that video
I loved seeing this video! Felt like such an og vid, i used to love your nail videos! When i saw this in my feed i thought it was from a couple yrs ago at first
I also used to have super long nails and two broke and my nails are now as short as yours but in a weird way seeing this video cheered me up💕
Nail polish thinner is more effective with a gloopy bottle than adding remover!
Your nails are goals! You've inspired me to grow out my nails long and healthy although with difficulties and a few rounds of starting over - the same way that you do with your hair. But i have naturally straight hair, so i guess we're even haha xx
ur voice is super relaxing to hear, if you made a podcast i would definitely listen to you all day
I haven't watched the video yet (on it lol), but I looove your nails omg. Mine just break off as soon as they grow out a bit, whatever I do with them :)
Idk if this helps but I used to have the same issue! Then I switched to a vegan diet (I personally believe this helps a lot) but what really changed my entire nail game was OILS. I keep applying nail oil to them alllllll the time. Seriously all the time. Also filing them once a week so the potentially worn off edge doesn't spread to the nail and causes a break :)
The same thing happens to me!!
i really love ur nail care routines😍😍 and thats how i came across ur channel
love ya😍😍
I've heard soaking your nails in a white vinegar solution can help with yellowing nails. I'm not sure if that is true, hope that helps.
Also I think the word you're look for is "Tacky- Retaining a slightly sticky feel; not fully dry."
I remember subbing to your channel when you had SUUUUUUPER super long nails! I remember this blue polish 😭 when my polishes get gloopy like that, I get nail polish thinner since polish remover and degrade the polish over time! all you need is a TEENY tiny drop and it's just like new!
Wow early, I watched half the vid and realised. I suffer from anxiety and bit my nails for a while I know it can be gross but it was my coping mechanism. I am trying to grow them out and your nails are amazing .
Edit:it's coming along there not perfect and I have one nail that's in bad condition but there is improvement
Pls make more nail videos because I started growing my nails after this video of yours thanks
I'm so jealous that Isabella can grow her natural nails out insanely long, but don't listen to her nail polish application tips if you want your mani to last lol
I know, I almost pass out when she said she puts oil before the base coat or the fact that she doesnt use the top coat after
don't use polish remover to revive the nail polish, specially this one because it contain oils in there, the best choice is a nail polish thinner if you don't have that use alcohol instead
yayyyyy I missed your nail videos
You should do more nail painting videos. Just like you did with this one. Showing different colors each video and talking in the video. It's really relaxing and nice to watch. Was watching this while doing my nails lol
Yayyyy
Thank u sooo much for making a nail video ❤️😘❤️
Could you make a video of all your nail polish? What brand you have and what colors you lean towards and whatnot?
Love your steps for this manicure.
Sometimes it takes me 3 days to do my nails with a new coat every day😂 but it’s worth it
6:19 bahahaa get it!? Cause its for ur HANDS 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Earlier I was thinking about my favorite RUclipsrs and Isabella came across my mind, and I was so sure she'd upload a new video. And here it is. Oh my instincts. 😂
How do you manage your nails staying so long over time. For example while doing household.. if I want let it grow it's one day fine and then i do something and at least one nail breaks 🙈 love your video so calming to watch and such a nice voice 🥰
I totally relate with the biting around the nail. I have been doing it since i was a child and have stopped for 2 whole years now. i absolutely regret biting them in the first place because my finger and nail's structure has completely changed and bent in a weird shape. Idk if it will heal with time, but if u bite ur nails and ur reading this, stop right away, i promise u, u can do it ♥️
Im watching this as im cutting my nails 😂
Watching your old videos and this, you have cleary lost your spirit .. you are not showing the same kind of enthusiasm and energy. Like youre tired of everything. I loved your videos bacause your personality was so heartwarming, humanly and you gave me hope ... as I will never know what it is i really hope youre doing well and you will find your level of happiness again ❤
what the fuck lmao. i was trying to make this video relaxing. hence the slow calm voice. please don't make assumptions like this. people change over the years. video styles change. jesus, please please stop with the assumptions about people's lives and personalities.
You act like you expect people to live their lives for you and you alone. You want them to act how YOU want them to act 100% of the time. That’s not how life or people work darling.
Very lovely blue tone :D
you did the first nail really nicely when you were showing how to paint it but then when you did the other ones you started weirdly dragging it around your cuticles, there's no need for that, just continue with the 3 strokes method, it works like a charm :)
it didnt drag it round my cuticles lmao. you have to work with the the formula and the brush is working with you. just look at the end result, why are you complaining?
@@IsabellaDemarko geeez why so salty...I didn't mean anything bad, it was all for a nice smooth manicure, not to attack you ffs....
Can you make a video showing your nail polish collection please I love your video 💖😍🥺
Love your videos Isabella but everyone should know that you should NEVER put nail polish remover in your polishes under any circumstances! This will ruin your nail polishes... you are better off getting a small bottle of NAIL POLISH THINNER, which can easily be found online!
it hasnt damaged my nails polish and I've been doing it for years.
@@IsabellaDemarko On a chemical level it will change your polish. Nail polish gets thick because it has chemicals which evaporate out. The nail polish thinner adds these chemicals back into the polish. Acetone and nail polish remover is meant to take off nail polish and therefore will thin your nail polish out by actually eating away at it, which could leave to further damage down the line. I am glad you haven't had any trouble so far but I am just trying to help!
Im definitely one of those people who are fascinated with you being able to grow your nails long. If more people could grow their nails, many nail salons would go out of business. I would love to be able to grow mine.
Hello! (Beautiful nails btw) if you are worried about nail
polish remover being drying and such things, there is something which, you’ve probably heard of, but is called a peel off base coat that you put just like a base coat and afterwards, can just pop of the nail!
when u file ur nails make sure u file in only one direction :)
Ha ha ha one direction :(
for the finger biting i heard of this product that you put on/around your nails and it tastes horrible so it makes you become aware when you are biting and it makes you not want to do it also i heard keeping your hands busy like holding a rock or messing with something helps
Please make a video with u stilling ur hair
Finally a nail video again. Wow, I really like the blue. I think I don't have that shade. And I also like the watch that matches the nails. Besides that, I wish I can be like her, just don't even care about using top coat (/taco) and it'll be easier to remove the polish but I'm just not that type of person. Lol. I used to not own taco so I could just wait hours and hours but now I don't have patience anymore. So sadly, I'll just have to deal with removing the polish no matter how long it takes. 😂
I have always enjoyed your nail videos. 🤭
Glory! Y’all are going crazy ‘bout her using nail polish remover to thin out nail polish. Lay back, willya..I get that for some of you it doesn’t work, but if it works for her, don’t go crazy. For me, personally it works really well. I’ve been using this method for years without any problems.
Heyy soo first if all what I noticed from myself is that, a girls hands if they like a manicure, represent their mental state, so I hope that you are doing well!! I will mostly stop when I am doing better, but if it helps I use a ‘stop biting’ nail polish which just tastes bitter, and prevents me from biting my nails. And I also noticed if I do a ‘daily ‘ nail routine I will also stop to bite my skin around my nails, cause I put a lot of work on it and I don’t want to ‘destroy’ or get a set back on my hands health or nail/ nailskin health. Take care of yourself 💕
soo satisfying :oo
I'm going to try your routine😍 your nails are super cute
You know i heard that you should only file your nails one way because back and forth causes them to rip even tho we cant see it which causes our nails to rip break and snag really fast. When i started doing that i noticed my nails lasted for so much longer without breaking
So happy to see your nail video again you inspiration to grow my nails long and healthy 👁️👄👁️💕🤗 you can get nail polish thinner 👍 don't use remover 💀🏳️
I don’t bite the skin around my nails and yet I still have these painful flaps of skin 😭 I take care of my nails so much but they still break off. Wish I could get them to grow like yours 😍
Hello! I love your nail videos and love watching for inspiration and care. I was wondering if you have a solution/tip with helping grow the nail smile line? Every once in a while it gets pushed back, and looks uneven.
Love the video!! Amazing anxiety reliever. My side hustle is earning money by working with nail polishes. Working with brands in swatching nail polish as well as helping in production by aiding in feedback in terms of formulation, wear-time etc. I know and love nail polish, I have about 1000 bottles, if not over. I died inside when you added remover to the bottle. Pro-tip! It’s so much better to invest in a good quality nail polish THINNER rather than adding a remover. It’s not a good idea to add a substance designed to disintegrate polish into nail polish you want to fix. It screws with the formula and the polish will become gloopier quicker than it originally did. 2. Thinner contains the exact ingredients that nail polish inevitably loses over time with repeated use. Remover would just add a tonne of solvents and moisturising oils that the polish didn’t have in the first place, and definitely doesn’t need. I guess if you’ve never had a problem with the formula with your current method, absolutely go nuts. I speak from my own experience working with polish so long, that the more you add remover the closer you come to completely rendering your nail polish useless. I hope you end up reading this, and hope I mean absolutely no ill upon the remover method or your own choices xx keep up the amazing work!
I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove the nail videos, specialy normal polish ones, i don´t like gel, it´s expensive in my country so it´s nice to see that is possible to have nice nails with only normal polishes
Can we use a mosturizer instead of cuticle oil?
i love these kinda of videos yay
You should put like a drop/pinch of chili or siracha on your thumb... I had the same habit and I used to bleed out my thumb try this
.....🥰🥰
such a relaxing video
Not me who just painted my nails yesterday and want to paint them again now T-T
I peel off my nail cuticles too it sucks. But i haven't recently.
i just enjoy hearing you talk
don't take it the wrong way but you are making some mistakes. You shouldn't soak your nails in water and wash them after using acetone - nails soak up water, expand and retain moisture, when they dry they change shape and the polish chips off (just like wood). Secondly using 2 in1 base&top is like using 2in1 shampoo, a good base is supposed to bind the polish to the nail and a top is supposed to isolate from the environment. Also putting cuticle oil before painting will cause chipping - polish doesn't bind to oli. A good hydrating oil after a manicure and pushing back your cuticles should be enough, you don't need to use scissors, it's really easy to damage the eponychium. I just want to help!
Love your nails 💖💖
Your nails are still beautiful !
Can use nail oil. Search up simply nailogical and how to grow your nails or something I'm not sure
@.@ nail polish remover is a quick fix,but it will destroy your nail polish over time. You can find nail polish thinner and beauty or nail polish stores. I have some 10 year old nail polishes that are like new.
Love being early
Gel polish would look amazing on your nails
She has gorgeous nails
Please please please I need a new video of the bratzs!!!!!!!!
did u ever wore peel of base coat??
How do you feel about metal cuticle pushers? I have that one and a wooden one and I always wonder which is better, or if it makes a difference what type you use. Thanks!
The bad thing about metal pushers its that you can damage or make indents on your nail, just use in case you've never pushed your cuticles but I would always recommend the wooden one :)
Hi I really love the yours but when is part 3 of washing your dolls coming out please I really want watch it as soon as it comes out I LOVE the series (sorry if I did not spell something right)
Edit: 2 likes ya people
Any tips for peeling nails? Mine always peel and i cut or file off that part but it always comes back :(
Diet might help with that, but another trick is using oils like jojoba and just continue filing honestly. Don't pick at them or anything and for the life of you don't tear back the peeled nail! used to be a horrible habit for me. I have some issues with my thumb nails but other than that the peeling on my other nails reduced and completely stopped with time!!
Tacky is what I call it haha
Yayyy.... .I am first... kinda.
Love you ♥️❤️❤️
