Hiii, thanks for the hair care update! I really love your videos ❤ I think my hair is quite similar to yours. I usually blow dry and style it too but I'm often disappointed that it doesn't last that long😔 Not a fan of the way hair spray feels either, it's sooo drying! So in case anyone knows a nourishing or not as drying hair spray, please let us know 🥺🙏
I don’t know what style you are going for when you blow dry but you could use a styling cream, liquid or mousse and wet setting your hair. Put it up in a bun when damp, or rollers or any other non heat style. Wet sets last longer and don’t damage your hair. Just something to consider in the future. It takes a bit getting used to at times but I feel worth it.
The blowout professor + Abbey Yung have absolutely revolutionised hair care for me!! I have very dry, frizzy, fine hair as well. My routine looks so similar to yours now and i finally like my hair after years of struggling 😭 love your hair videos!!
This video is giving me life. I used to always watch your hair videos when I first wanted to grow my pixie cut out (my hair is to my butt now!) but was always bummed that you weren't happy with your own hair. I was so excited when this video popped up and you're just lovely and glowing about it now
From someone that always used claw clips on the shower to let the conditioner on… a warning, this cause breakage!! I still have a lot of breakage on the middle of my head, took me years to figure out what was causing in. I stopped tying my hair wet for some months and I can see the difference already
Wow years ago i watched your hair journey. And now all of the sudden you pop up! Youre so much more adult and calm now, i can really see a big difference. Its like seeing you go from a teenager to a young well rounded woman.
I forgot to say that your hair looks beautiful! And if you notice your hair is thinning, you should ask your doctor for some blood work to check your vitamin levels. This happened to me two years ago, I thought it was normal and just me being too focused on it but no, I was literally anaemic. So please take care of yourself!! Missed having hair videos from you! Maybe you could do some hairstyle tutorials ❤
For hair growth use Rosemary oil at the roots and massage it in, then I leave it overnight and then wash it out. Also I find oloplex no. 6 leave In is very good for dry curly hair. ❤
I really enjoy your content! Honestly, I have dry hair also. I never condition, I always use a deep mask instead. It just does so much more than a conditioner. What made the biggest dofference for me was using a micro needling roller on my scalp once a week to increase hair growth. I now have way thicker hair.
@@beatriceladouce965 If you want me to single out only ONE product as the best, then the Bonding mask (not their mask, I haven’t tried that, their bonding mask). i haven't watched your channel in yeaaaars. i remember when you were going through the curly girl method and i was trying to find someone with the same hair type as me.... long story short, the curly girl method didn't work for me (kind of similar to your situation) and now, feeling defeated, i wanted to look at your channel again and see what you were up to and if you found a more friendly way to manage our locks. this video really helped 🤍 hope you're doing great!!
I recommend oiling ur hair as well when u dont use treatment to promote growth and protect the lengths and ends from dryness ps: A BUTTERFLY CUT WOULD LOOK AMAZING ON U OMG❤
Your natural hair colour is my dream hair colour, that i can't obtain because i am into natural hair treatment methods, as long as i don't have much grey hair (i started to have around 5-10 in total the last 4 years).
the what u want meme is perfect here. your hair is super pretty I remember how you hated it in older videos and couldn't understand why. and your color is gorgeous
I’ve been watching since your curly girl method videos! Happy to see you wearing your hair in a way that makes you happy! I really enjoy the brand Love Ur Curls for a hair mask. I also have thin dry hair and have found Shea moisture too thick and heavy on my hair. Love Ur Curls has a nice hair mask and leave in conditioner (woman owned brand 😊)
The styling thing is what i do as well, tried for years to stick to the curly girl method or the likes of it but gave up because it takes so much effort and the results dont last very long and its okay! ive realized i just really like the way it turns out when i blow dry it straight after washing it, then proceeding with my overnight heatless curls routine
A product you'll LOVE is the Sealed Ends from Schwarzkopf. It protects from the heat and it can be used on dry hair like a hair oil although it has a dry creamy texture.
So happy for you ! My family comes from a mixture of Spanish with Native Indians and all my cousins have this very long straight , strong to waist hair . Mine was always fine and dull, so I to learn to love it as well 😂 learning how to stylish helped A LOT .
yayy, I've been waiting for this video for so longgg finally. Also, just a tip here you should buy a concentrater nozzle for the blow dryer it'll help you with the frizz
Isabella you need to try the Eva nyc therapy session hair mask!! I also have super dry hair but it’s been working SO good for me. you can use it by just putting it on like a conditioner after shampoo but what has really been working for me has been wetting all of my head and putting it on my mid-ends and leaving it on for a couple hours and then shower. it’s been amazing please try it it’s fairly cheap💗
We have almost the exact same post-shower routine. I also pat my hair dry with a towel, since wrapping it up causes breakage for me. I learned this technique from my mom when I had hair down to my lower back. I also apply my leave-in to my hands first before applying through my hair. I notice if I spray it in my hands, I have more control over the product distribution.
I make my own spray leave in conditioner and use every day on lengths and ends to prevent dryness (and coz it smells sooo nice) I mix some cream leave in (the cantu curl cream is mega affordable and smells like a beach holiday and teh shea moisture marshmallow cream works too) with a teeny bit of almond oil and plenty of spring water (to avoid hard tap water) and it last for ages. Otherwise I love the Christoph Robin leave in hydration spray :-) Your hair looks better than ever! I love that you felt guilty about 'the poor little grey hairs' if you plucked them. Too cute x
Have you had your iron levels checked? Hair loss near 30 isn't normal, that's a very very elderly thing. Quite a few of the things you enjoy drinking block iron absorption (tea has tannins and almond milk has phytic acid). Ferritin level 70 is optimum for health but down to 12 is "acceptable", however below 70 (sometimes needs to be 100 for women) will cause things like hair loss; so if you get tested ask what your ferritin number is even if they say it was "in range" (in range is above 12 so no anemia but also not good function)
Hair loss is normal at all ages. It’s just a natural process due to the hair cycles. Hair loss can be more prevalent with the change of seasons too - especially for people in the northern hemisphere
No matter why kind of hair, we use only coconut oil for nourishing. That's it. It takes a month or few months but I experienced the change is significant.
Bakingsoda once a month spray 1tbls apple cider vinegar rest water fill spray bottle use after drying with towel . Leave . Then always leave in and rosemary oil just drop or 2 always
I think your hair looks very nice ☺️ just some little things that helped me: Maybe try to use oil after your blowdry to seal your ends. I would also recommend the redken Blow dry Cream for heat protection before your blowdry, not ceap as well but lasts so long as you only need a very small amount each time. And a concentrator nosle for your blowdryer is key for smooth hair☺️
I personally agree & disagree with this video 🤔. I have waist length hair at 56 yrs old 😊. I wash my hair 2xs each and 2xs weekly, and use hair mask 1 x week! I use Microfiber towels, WET brush, do not blow dry! I use Coconut oil, Jojoba oil & Tea Tree oil on my mid length hair, leave on 1 hour and then wash!! I leave hair mask on 1-2 hours!! Brush(WET BRUSH) my hair gently upside down every day and evening.. I don’t use anything but leave-on conditioning Nothing else.. Good luck 🍀
The blowout professor method really changed my hair! I can finally see it get longer and actually retain lenght. I wash my hair twice a week with shampoo and a hair mask, then a leave in conditioner, heat protectant for the blow dry and then a little oil on the ends. When I sleep I wrap my lenght according to the healtess blowout method, gathering all of the hair on top of my maid. When it's morning, I take it out and I'm good to go! Easy peasy and comfortable to sleep in
@iah8331 are asking me? I use the following products: shampoo bar from Friendlyshop (their own line), hair mask from Omia, random heat protectant from DM Balea and almond oil or monoi oil for the ends 😊
There is so many comments on here so idk if you'll even see this, but You should try Just nutritive grow new hair line. It is natural and earthy smelling but it works. The protein and vitamins leave in from them is great too
I'm thirty three and I just started getting random gray hairs to I haven't colored my hair in 10 months. I'm embracing my natural hair collar about halfway there I love you channel 💜💕
You’re describing a lot of the conclusions I came to with my very dry and frizzy curly/wavy hair. I’ve tried everything to try and eliminate the frizz but that’s just my texture. I see curly girls online giving tips to tame frizz but they have naturally silky smooth hair lol. I used to feel bad not being “natural” but the texture of my hair and curl type just doesn’t look good no matter what I do. And if it does, it’s for 1 day even though I’ve tried a million different sleeping techniques. I found it’s so much better to love how it looks with less effort- accepting I will get some heat damage. My hair gets damaged very easily so I have to take really good care of it and even then I have to just deal with some split ends. My hair stylists never believe how fragile it is until they cut my hair and I get split ends from putting heat on it once 😅. It’s a lot better than it used to be and I can actually camouflage them pretty well. My mom randomly said how healthy it looked the other day so the treatments do their job! I also use a split end trimmer machine instead of cutting the length off for trims and that’s helped it grow out without becoming super wispy!
I had to change up my routine- i had been using the same shampoo and conditioner for years but my hair was super fine and flyaway and frizzy. i am now using a caffeine shampoo and a keratin conditioner. my hair smells amazing and is no longer flyaway and frizzy. chuffed to bits. i have the same issues with my hair as you do
I also use a conditioning mask for my conditioner! I love the overtone mask. I have sensitive skin, and no problems at all! They make it in normal or fine hair. And it has Rosemary to promote hair growth. My hair loves it. Still nailing my routine down, but so far it matches yours.
I have the same hair type as you, Amika Soulfood is my go-to hair mask, you should buy the travel size and try it. Or if you want to try a few of them I suggest getting the mast-topia kit to try a few different hair masks and treatments I swear by.
Hair syrup (growsmary, rapunzel, lemon aid), Davines melu and Dede range, and satin scrunchies are the only thing that keeps my fine hair long. My hair is very fast growing but super brittle and prone to breakage. My hair has gone from shoulder length to waist length in 2 years using the products I mentioned before. I would love you to do a video on hair oiling, especially using hair syrup. Lots of love.
I have thick coarse wavy and frizzy hair and we have basically the same routine, except that I condition after mask (but do not let sit), put oil before leave in (or mix them) and schampoo with half the amount first in order to get the worst product coating out and then do a deep clean with a larger amount :) I also cut my hair shorter into a lob cut in order to be able to wash and process it more often without the ends getting damaged. My hair has become a lot more silky since I went short and dark, and I allow my self to flat iron it every week :D It also uses a lot less product and I look soo good!
i’ve seen several videos from professionals that the l’oréal bond repair uses the same technology as k18/olaplex just cheaper! so if the higher end products aren’t in budget, they do the same thing ❤
If you want a mask for dry hair that will control frizz, I'd recommend Redken's All Soft or Masquintense from Kerástase. Both are great. They also have wonderful leave ins, and they have cream leave ins. If you find that you need a lot of the pureology spray, you might like a heavier leave in especially on days where you use heat. Kerástase's Nutritive live has both a spray and cream option. But I have the Redken All soft's leave in and it leaves my hair so soft and manageable. And the best part is you don't have to use a lot, which is great because it is pricey
I’m not sure about the scrunching if you prefer straight hair. I have wavy hair and even I only scrunch for styling, but conditioners and masks I smooth through with a brush, well that’s coz it is better for wavy to brush through when conditioning. But otherwise scrunching can be damaging too.
This is my hair and only now - aged (almost) 49 have I realised that it’s just my hair type. My hairdresser will ask me if I use heat protectant and recommend products - I literally treat my hair like spun gold and have done so much research! At this point, it is what it is 😂 I surrender to my hair! You win hair!
Okay so bc u don't do the curly girl method on a regular basis like gels u can js let the run off of the shampoo clean ur ends I have coily hair and I always brush everything through w shampoo but it can be drying for u if u dont use the heavy butters and oils that I do
You should look into using a caffeine and melatonin hair serum for your scalp I've been using it for a couple of months and I've already seen results I only lose around 5 hairs a day
That iRestore helmet can really work for those who have hair loss and patterned hair loss! But also worth mentioning, there may be some extra shedding when starting those treatments because the hair is shifting into a growing phase... something along those lines, I'm not a pro, etc, etc. LOL
Omg as a hair entusiasthic to another, we are doing the same things!! Hahahaha its like we are having the same hair care youtubers and progressing with the new info 🤍🤍🤍
The only thing that I do different and that I feel has helped me is not using brushes, just detangling my hair with my fingers (believe me, its possible) and also although I still apply leave in conditioner and oil, I try not to touch it too much and let it dry naturally (again) without touching it too much.
You’re so lucky you can cut your own hair - I have so much hair so I need layers/thinning and everytime I try to cut my own hair, it looks awful. Your hair looks amazing!! ❤
hi ive been watching you for so long and love your videos but never comment! i have the same kind of hair as you and really relate.. could you do a hair cutting tutorial??
I have your hair texture - fine with some wave to it. It is truly so difficult to manage. Like you, I have spent multiple years and hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars trying to understand my hair to help it look its best. I am still on this endless journey, but one product I have found, my absolute holy grail, is the Apogee protein treatment. No other protein or deep conditioner comes close to helping my hair the way it does. I'm so curious if you've tried it. And if not, get some!
Girl have you think about the quality/composition of the water you use to wash your hair? When i moved to my new home, my well water completely destroyed my hair!
I love minimalism when it comes to hair care. But I like you as a blogger so I liked this, though I think there is no need to do so much things to hair. Silicones cause dry hair by the way.
I always noticed my hair falling a lot more during late summer/autumn too, to the point where my hair is noticeably thinner in autumn and winter. I googled it and seasonal hair loss is a thing, apparently due to the change in UV light levels. My hair gets much thicker again in spring when the sun starts coming out again 😄
Hiii, thanks for the hair care update!

Still nailing my routine down, but so far it matches yours.
thanks for sharing xxx
your hair looks amazing im so jealous
Finally a new good video, I haven't watched all the others. Im only interested in hair-videos
so glad you enjoy my videos thanks for watching! x
@@IsabellaDemarko your hair is beautiful. Will you grow it longer?
I have thick coarse wavy and frizzy hair and we have basically the same routine, except that I condition after mask (but do not let sit), put oil before leave in (or mix them) and schampoo with half the amount first in order to get the worst product coating out and then do a deep clean with a larger amount :) I also cut my hair shorter into a lob cut in order to be able to wash and process it more often without the ends getting damaged. My hair has become a lot more silky since I went short and dark, and I allow my self to flat iron it every week :D It also uses a lot less product and I look soo good!
so hecking creative! :*
I recommend the “it’s a 10 miracle” deep conditioning mask, works for my hair but we don’t have the same hair type. But worth a shot
i’ve seen several videos from professionals that the l’oréal bond repair uses the same technology as k18/olaplex just cheaper! so if the higher end products aren’t in budget, they do the same thing ❤
hmm interesting!
Ur hair is so pretty
The thing with the clip is so smart
oribe hairspray leaves my hair so soft and not crunchy!! i have such dry hair and its my fave
Your hair looks so voluminous and healthy compared to the curly girl method video!!

I think leave in every other day or every 2 days with oil can prevent ur hair drying out
I’m not sure about the scrunching if you prefer straight hair.
LOL

I really miss your hair content videos…❤❤❤❤
Omg as a hair entusiasthic to another, we are doing the same things!! Hahahaha its like we are having the same hair care youtubers and progressing with the new info 🤍🤍🤍
The only thing that I do different and that I feel has helped me is not using brushes, just detangling my hair with my fingers (believe me, its possible) and also although I still apply leave in conditioner and oil, I try not to touch it too much and let it dry naturally (again) without touching it too much.
Great video you probably already know this but if you shampoo before the bond repairs they work better:)
yes i do but its too much of a faff for me ;) x
When i moved to my new home, my well water completely destroyed my hair!
yes i made a video explaining the science of it years ago x
Thank you Isabella this was verey helpful my hair is so much longer know since i found you chanel have a good day :D
yay!!! thank you xxx
I love minimalism when it comes to hair care. But I like you as a blogger so I liked this, though I think there is no need to do so much things to hair. Silicones cause dry hair by the way.
wow your hair looks a thousand times more bouncy and shiny!
I always noticed my hair falling a lot more during late summer/autumn too, to the point where my hair is noticeably thinner in autumn and winter. I googled it and seasonal hair loss is a thing, apparently due to the change in UV light levels. My hair gets much thicker again in spring when the sun starts coming out again 😄
ooh interesting thanks for sharing ! xxx
