I love how she and other nail people have like a little community ❤ so many industries are competitive and I'm sure the nail industry is too, but on my experience nail techs tend to be excited and supportive of each others art
Yes this is true. I'm a student at a beauty school in Miami, Florida, and one thing I've noticed among techs and students is that we don't tend to get jealous or come to hate each other because there's always going to be clients for everyone, particularly because people are going to like how you do nails over how someone else does them or even vice versa. Because of that, there's enough clientele for everyone. We also have a lot to learn from each other, too, I find. Techs, students, and even DIYers are always find ways to do things that's easier for them and also come up with new techniques, and many of them don't mind sharing with others who want to learn or even putting a tutorial up for the entire world to see, and eventually people find their own ways to do those same techniques.
@@jadalong9587 it was the same when I was at nail school! Since we all have such different strengths I get so much inspiration from other techs, and it just pushes me to be more creative and have more joy in the craft --- and it's always better grow upwards as a community ❤
LongHairPrettyNails reviewed NCE starter kit and gave her honest opinion about the monomer yellowing when it says Non Yellowing on the bottle and NCE called her like inexperienced and something else I forget but was super petty and unprofessional about it lmao. Someone said Susie made a video about it but I couldn’t find it
I’m starting my on press-on business really soon, and want to bling out all my sets! This video could not have came at a better time! I will be buying from Jenne!
Kirsty from Naio Nails has a bling technique I've found to be helpful. She lays down polygel where she wants the crystals to set and covers the polygel with topcoat, doesnt cure, lays down the crystals, then cures and she has to cut those babies off because they're in so good.
Suzie, here's a tip for the foam bubbles (saw it on Naio Nails): just put water and soap in a plastic bottle, shake it and then squeeze the foam out of it and straight on top of the nail, no fuzz and always ready to use 😊
SUZIE!!!! YOU ARE AMAZING, I absolutley love your content. Suzie , you are such a joy to watch and I always learn so much. I am not a nail tech myself but I have recently learned how to do my own nails all thanks to your videos. Thank you Suzie and thank you Camera man for helping your lovely wife.
After trying it - i learned i would used the Crystal Gel MORE, the gems stick to it much better- the glue took too long to dry- once Jenny ended the call i was able to focus and use the crystal gel and it went MUCH FASTER- 👍🏼💎
I was thinking the same thing...but I understand. As an educator, we are learning but we also want to do our best work. It’s kinda hard trying to learn while also trying to do a good job. I love Susie, she did well.
@@NailCareerEducation I’m sure you made it perfect because you are a perfectionist. I don’t blame you for struggling with having to give your attention to this beautiful young lady and try to video yourself at the same time. I give you big kudos darling ❤️

Amazing technique with bubbles!! I've been a nail tech since 1999,and I'm still learning so many cool things!! Even with the Bling, and the tip with the glue,.. cutting the brush down. I never would've thought of that, such an easy smart solution. I'd would've saved so much glue would I have known about this hack years ago. Thanks for all the tips! So many talented amazing artists in our industry!! 💅👏💕

17:50 I DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE SAYING HERE. I have FULL nail tips that cover my entire nail and buy whatever shape im going for. Id get Stiletto tips and pick the sizes i need then build my acrylic on the loose tips and when im done with them i adhere them to my nails with a small bead of acrylic instead of nail glue. How does this seem impossible to professionals??
Jenny is so sweet!! Got tears in my eyes cause she reminded me so much of my dear friend Na from Thailand that past on! Suzie I really enjoyed watching this so much!! That Crystal Pen is amazing!! It is the Swiss knife for nails!! Stay safe!!! 💖💅🥰🇿🇦
I always love the bling of your nail designs, I’ve always wondered how you paint your dominant hand so well, I always try to paint designs on my nails.
I'm so happy I found your channel! I just recently got into nails as an escape and a way to be creative and be more than "mom" and "wife" lol it's been amazing for my depression. But I'm so glad to see someone over the age of 25 like me lol. I have been thinking about doing my own videos but I'm more hesitant because being over the age of 35 I wasn't sure if anyone would even watch BUT watching you is giving me some hope! Please don't think I'm calling you "old" I'm just saying it's refreshing to see a more mature lady nailing the nails!! Lol I'm so inspired by your designs. You're amazing!
I've seen some techs, like Kirsty from Naio Nails lays it down with polygel and gel top coat, uncured, then lays them down and cures it. With gems or even 3D designed like roses, she will reinforce the design and fill gaps with polygel or acrylic so they don't snap off snag in your hair. Her crystals are so stuck on she has to cut them off.
Sometimes, you can use clear acrylic or gel to fill in any gaps between large gems or stuff and the nails so that everything feels more smooth and nothing gets caught! I personally like using a builder gel or makartt’s clear qikgel and it works great!
