I went off watching nail videos for a few years and now there’s sooooooo many many more nail people and I STILL like your videos the best! Thank-you for sharing your talent -you are a gifted teacher.
Thanks once again for my weekly dose of "Suzie Psychotherapy!" 😂 I cannot express how ✨SATISFYING✨ this was to watch. Also *love* camermans work on showing instructional parts like the apex rebalance and filing down the lumps and bumps, they are excellent. Powerhouse couple as always 😁💪🏻💅🏻✨🤳🏻
I know this is childish of me to say, and I'm 43 years old, but I had to giggle like a little school girl when you were flipping us off at around 9:25... That being said, I love your videos. I don't even do nail art, but these videos are so nice and so informational. It's just like being back in school and learning a whole new subject. Super awesome. Thank you so much for being a great part of the RUclips community!
New to doing my own nails and Loving the journey! I was an every 3 week salon girl from lack of knowledge but this channel is so top notch and I must say the explanation is on an education level and the video zoom in quality on the specific illustrations is every thing. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us ❤
You make it look so easy to do,but I know you have a lot of experience in doing what you do. I enjoy the education you give and how you make it easy to learn and understand. Thank you for your videos, I really appreciate them.
Susie, you are truly a nail Goddess! I’ve been watching your videos for a few years now and I can’t tell you how much you’ve helped me along my journey of learning how to do my nails myself. Thank you so much and thank you for all of the adorable and creative ideas!! I want to start using all of your products because they have to be the best… top notch!!
Perfect timing for this video. I totally just started dealing with this issue. You make the stressful parts of doing nails fun, I would be stressing out about the imperfections along the way but you are so calm about the process.
This is an excellent tutorial as usual. The camera angles capture everything so just when I’m asking myself a question there’s the answer. Thank you so much for continuing to educate this way. I really appreciate it. ❤
I have been doing my own full cover tips for a long time, I never knew I could full them instead of taking them completely off every week. Thanks for the info x
I have been a salon girl for years. I've always wanted to do my own nail and watching you do a fill in it looks really easy. The easy gel looks really simple and I'm sure I could do it. Every question I had during your video ,you answered. Thank you for sharing and showing us😊
There are so many different things that have gel in them there's builder gel gel nail polish a soft gel gelox glue can you do a video regarding all of those different gels and what they are and use for
I'm a little late to the party but just started doing my nails again since March. I quit doing them since I had a surgery coming up and just couldn't find the time to do them again. This video is perfect since I used full cover tips and they have already grown out a good 1 mm in a week. You've always been an inspiration.
Hello from Norway, and thank you for making these videos ! It was my dream to learn to do my own gel manicure, ❤ and thanks to you I have dared to do it on myself 😊
Thank you Suzie love the step by step details and thank you cameraman.. I feel I’m sitting right there I can see everything! I’ve got to try these products 😃
Filling to check everything and take the muffin top down. 😂Love the glitter mix on the fill. 😍 The glitter would of been nice mixed in with the white. 😍 The nails are beautiful. 😍 Thanks for sharing. 💖💖💖🤗
I used to fill Gel-X with extension clear gel. I just couldn't get the gel poured into the gap to form as I wanted, but I see that APEX formation is easy with polygel. Thanks for the useful information.
Hi Suzie, this video is right up my alley,i qualified in builder/hard gel back in June and i'm looking for some full cover tips to use whilst mine are getting healthy again, i have shortened them and put a light hard gel overlay to strengthen them for the interim but i really need some full cover tips that don't damage the natural nail plate,i live in the UK btw.
I don't like it when techs leave a gap between the finished nail & cuticle. The nail looks like the client needs a fill in & at the price we're paying plus the tip, I want a finished product. Your skills are top notch, just like I love! ✨️
Oh wow you have those animations now!! So cool. Living your videos for learning. I’ve done one fill and your videos pointed out everything I’ve done wrong 🤣 but as you said, it’s one step closer to getting it right🩷
I love seeing your videos pop up! You taught me how to do nails. I’ve been doing them for years now and getting so good!! Thanks for all the GREAT advice and teaching!!
I have learned so many useful tips and tricks in doing nails over the many years I have been watching your tutorials. I have a question for you Suzie. What can I do about gel polish that has gotten to thick in the bottle? I still have plenty left so I don't want to waste product I paid good $ for! Cameraman you are awesome with graphic's and filming! Thank you both for your time and expert skills!
Hello Suzie! Thank you a ton for your videos. I have grown tired of going into nail salons and getting cheated by techs who constantly raises their prices at the checkout point. Therefore, I am learning to give myself a manicure to relieve myself from such stresses. I know your specialty is acrylic and gel. However, can you make a few videos on applying, removing, and refilling dip powder manicures? I appreciate your years professionalism and would love to see how your apply it. Thank you in advance.
Love the tip! Recording for educational propuses must be so hard, I'm a teacher and sometimes I record and forget some steps, it caught my attention that you left the cuticule area with some residues, I'm sure you don't do that in your services hehe
I’ve been watching your videos for a long time!! Some are yrs old but I know I have learned a lot!! I think I’m ready to try to do acrylic & gel I’m going to try gel 1st!! I’m going to order the practice hand I can’t wait!! I also going to try forms just like the in lay look!! 🤞🏻❤️
Hi, suzie I love all your videos, it’s really inspired me. I been followed you for quite a long time now and I wander if you have any online classes that I could take?
Your videos are brilliant!!Is your Bridge product a primer? Should Bridge be used instead of or an addition to a primer. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks again
My son went on holiday to Gran Canaria. When he landed and went to his hotel room he rang me….. “Mum” he says “I’ve got your glitter stuck to me everywhere” 😂 ‘Jet setting glitter’ 😊
Love your videos. Would you consider adding more photos to the online shop of the quick tips? It's hard to tell what they look like from just the photo of the box. Thanks!
I love doin nails, just praying I'm not allergic to the rubber base and biab, coz iv just tried it and can do it well, love the glitter pink, u kinda remind me if myself doin nails im a bit of a perfectionist
Suzie. How successful is using full tips to grow out your natural nails? Is it all in the removal for success? Or do your nails come out soft when tips are removed? Thank you for your videos. I love them all.
Removal is definitely a key for success. However, if you want to keep nails unbroken, the best you can do is make sure the length is right for your life. If you're not used to long nails or often use your nails as tools, it's putting them at risk of breaking and we definitely don't want that to happen closer to the nail bed (the pink part of your nail). If you wanna learn more about how to keep nails unbroken, Doug Schoon has an article on balancing flexibility and rigidity that's an amazing read. On another note, after any type of removal will make your nail feel soft. This is because water and oil you've produced will have soaked into your nail while it had any product on and it will take a while for this to dehydrate. Good luck with your nail journey!
Suzi, I'm having a hard time applying the quick tips. I either over add the gel to the tip & it oozes everywhere, or I under add & get an air pocket beneath a cured nail. 😱help! I need a video helping with this & I bet I'm not alone😊
When there's too much you can do a quick cure (just a few seconds) to secure the tip, then wipe away the excess before fully curing. That's what I've done, anyhow.
I’m assuming you can do a fill on these full cover tips using acrylic as well? I’ve taught myself nails using acrylic. Thank you so much for posting. Your videos are always so helpful and educational.
This video was super helpful! However, what about filling in pre-painted full cover nails such as the Kiss brand without taking the nails off? Is there a way to do that?
Lovely videos. My daughter and I are just discovering the gel trend, however, I would much prefer more footage on the gel applications than all of the unnecessary chitchat. Also, my daughter would like to see the black midnight gel in use.
If you are new to Nail enhancements I strongly recommend not applying it on people or yourself while learning. I encourage people to use fake fingers or fake hands or a worksheet. And yes, great idea. I will do a video regarding the midnight EZ Gel. But just a warning there will be chitchat as I find it’s one of the best tools when I’m explaining or educating.
Hi Susie! I’ve been watching your channel for about a year now and love it so much. I have just this week developed an allergy to acrylic nails and know that I can no longer wear them. Is it possible that I can use your gel for gel nails.
Since nobody has answered to you for 3 weeks, I'm going to answer what i was thinking to myself when i read your question. But don't take that for gold or anything precious, I'm certified with no experience. If her easy-gel is her version of "polygel" ( Yes, i know polygel is a brand, but you know what i mean, right?) ... If i was like you, allergic to acrylics, I would absolutely avoid any type of polygel since it's a mix of gel and acrylic resin. Did you verify if the allergie was the acrylic or the type of monomer? Just wondering 🤔 Anyway, I hope It helped a bit Take care
is easy gel the same as hard gel? It looks like a good way to get better at acrylic as it maybe applies like acrylic but more forgiving as you dont have limited time before it dries
Hi Suzie, when I am filing off lifting, particularly hybrid gel, it feels like the efile creates more lifting, or am i just not seeing it? What looks like 1mm of lifted nail ends up being half the nail filed off 😅
I do find sculpting quite difficult, and my natural nails are the thickness and texture of paper towels anyway, so I just glue on a set of full-coverage tips and treat those as if they were my natural nails.
Is bridge like keratin protein bond? I’ve never tried your products but have always wanted too. I do need more protein bond and I would love to try your bridge!!!!

Enjoy the journey
How to fill with BIAB please?
Best timing ever! Got my tips 4 and a half weeks ago and I didn't know how to fill them. This is a life saver ❤
This is an excellent tutorial as usual. The camera angles capture everything so just when I’m asking myself a question there’s the answer. Thank you so much for continuing to educate this way. I really appreciate it. ❤
I could listen to you all day Suzie. I always love, love the shape of your nails. x
I have been doing my own full cover tips for a long time, I never knew I could full them instead of taking them completely off every week. Thanks for the info x
I think you once called that bulk on the sides - “muffin tops” 😅
YES! Muffin top is how I always remember it now too hehe 😊
Yes, I remember that too.😅
Yes! I remember that as well.🙂
Lol. She sure did!
Fold in the cheese. As soon as you said that i knew exactly what the reference was. You are hilarious. You make me smile 😃

Hello from Norway, and thank you for making these videos ! It was my dream to learn to do my own gel manicure, ❤ and thanks to you I have dared to do it on myself 😊

Is this gel or acrylic??
What material to you use
I love that glitter color
Love you and your work! I think a whole set of the white at the base would have looked cool. Black sounds awesome too.
I love seeing your videos pop up! You taught me how to do nails. I’ve been doing them for years now and getting so good!! Thanks for all the GREAT advice and teaching!!

Thank you so so much for this tutorial. It really helped and taught me allot many thanks ❤
You are the Bob Ross of nails. So relaxed. So chill . ❤. Tammy Taylor too hyper for this nail chick 😂
Love you glasses Susie!
I was looking for such a video.
No one else was covering this
Could you do a video showing how thick or what's the best thickness near the tip when using your easy gel?
Is there a video of Suzie doing the full glitter set the first time?
Hello Suzie! Thank you a ton for your videos. I have grown tired of going into nail salons and getting cheated by techs who constantly raises their prices at the checkout point. Thank you so much for this video! I usually sculpt, but I just recently ordered the GelX system!! So excited to try it!!
Love the tip! Recording for educational propuses must be so hard, I'm a teacher and sometimes I record and forget some steps, it caught my attention that you left the cuticule area with some residues, I'm sure you don't do that in your services hehe

Totally enjoyed this tutorial. And the $chitt’s Creek ref 🧀 was the icing on the cake! Or should I say the clear gel on the nail 😆 💅
I’d like to see the pink and the black as well.❤😂
My son went on holiday to Gran Canaria. When he landed and went to his hotel room he rang me….. “Mum” he says “I’ve got your glitter stuck to me everywhere” 😂

Love your videos.
Thank you you’re awesome teacher 🎉
So helpful! Thank you!
Appreciate the Schitt's Creek reference haha

Hi Susie! I love your videos, thank you. Could you possibly tell me what make/brand your e-file is? It's amazing.
Suzi, I'm having a hard time applying the quick tips. I either over add the gel to the tip & it oozes everywhere, or I under add & get an air pocket beneath a cured nail. 😱help! I need a video helping with this & I bet I'm not alone😊
100-% not alone everyone made it
look so easy and i'm having trouble getting that perfect amnt too
When there's too much you can do a quick cure (just a few seconds) to secure the tip, then wipe away the excess before fully curing. That's what I've done, anyhow.
Thanks also learnt a lot from ur videos
I’m assuming you can do a fill on these full cover tips using acrylic as well? I’ve taught myself nails using acrylic. Thank you so much for posting. Your videos are always so helpful and educational.
I was wondering the same.
I also know that Suzie leaves a thin layer of acrylic underneath the gel? I would like to see that process.

Anyway, I hope It helped a bit
Take care
is easy gel the same as hard gel? It looks like a good way to get better at acrylic as it maybe applies like acrylic but more forgiving as you dont have limited time before it dries
I'm usually bored after 3 weeks so we go for option 3 - fill with clear and paint with an opaque colour over the top. Normal fill price.
What is another name for easy gel? Is it the same as polygel? Thanks Suzie ❤
Suzie, what kind of dish would you use to put the extra mixture in? Do you have any links?
Is bridge like keratin protein bond? I’ve never tried your products but have always wanted too. I do need more protein bond and I would love to try your bridge!!!!
How many fills can we do before the full cover tips need to be removed? Are we able to continually fill them until the tip grows off?
Dear Suzie❤,
Eight months ago I had to make massive lifestyle & dietary alterations due to being diagnosed with a serious medical issue, & despite all the supplements I have to take (including collagen tabs), my usually long & hard natural nails have been ripping & breaking - usually right down into the nail-beds. Not only is this unsightly but it's also very painful! I've cut them all down to a very short length (which I hate), but they continue to rip & tear 😢
My G.P. is at a loss, so I'm wondering what advice you might be able to offer to a) make natural nails stronger - (I've been using gel polishes but not builder gel - which I've ordered), and b) how to correctly repair a natural nail that has begun to rip at the side of the business end of the nail (near or into the nail-bed - or anywhere, really!)
I sincerely value your advice and especially your absolute passion for creating beautiful nails and stunning nail-art - and for sharing it with your audience. You are the most amazing teacher! ❤
I hope you read my questions & can answer them soon. Thank you for being you, Suzie ❤
Kindest regards,
J. Whiteoak 😊
Hi, Susie! Thank you for your advices. You are amazing. I see all your videos. I have one little question: the easy gel that you use for the fill is the same as acrigel or polygel? I'm I bit in a trouble with all these gel names jajajaja thank you in advance? You are the best!! ❤❤❤
I think it is, seems to be the same texture.
Acrygel is the proper name (acrylic + gel = acrygel).
Polygel and all that tralala are brand names
Thank you! ❤
What do you use to make your light poly gel darker? Thanks.
Once did mixed it with a drop of gel polish, it worked.
What color is she wearing on her right hand? I really like it.
Loovveee your videos!!!
Hi Susie, i'm from Czech Republic. And i ❤ your videos. This bottles with glitters are gorgeous. But it's impossible to get them :-(
"Have you got a sparkle on your nose?" Raise your hand if you've been there 😂🙋🏻♀️
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!
