Steve is one of the best guest on your channel, he doesn't talk to much, is very chill so he's not a distraction. And his hand looks great on pictures.
Simple questions and concern by the nail tech make the biggest difference for the client. I’ve yet to have anyone do that but if they did they’d have a client for life. Thank you for posting the videos, they make a difference.
Honestly, this is the way every nail appointment should go. But we’re losing the art of custom designing nails to customers. It is simply an In-N-Out world of press on tips.
You really inspired me to do my own nails after 2 years of watching you I finally convinced myself to get set of gels to do my nails ❤ love your content 😊
I love that even though your content is geared towards an aspiring nail artist/tech, it’s easy enough to understand that someone like me, who is just wanting to learn how to do my own nails, can understand it!
I had my daughter and new daughter in laws wedding Saturday and I needed to change to a new set-shorter and less formal. I watched this on my way home (from one end of Missouri to the other). Sculpted a short square set and used red instead of blue! You have been a great inspiration and I can now do my families nails as well!!! Thank you so much!!
The favorite finger is a real thing!! Every time I paint my nails my ring finger is my favorite. The c-curve, shape, length, hardness, everything about it.
i wasn't blown away by the previous set but it was interesting to see Suzie try something different. this set, however, is EVERYTHING to me. so so gorgeous,, well done girl!
I've never been to a hairdresser who didn't ask me how do I want my hair to look. And then they go ahead and do it the way they want to anyway and I come away disappointed. 😞 When it comes to nails, thank goodness Suzie listens!
I had medium-length press-on nails for the first time and it was so difficult to text!! People who wear long and extra-long nails are amazing and talented.❤
It takes time to get use to it BUT some never do- I personally don’t like them too long - it’s to hard to do anything and then my nails hurt - so I keep them at a workable length
The first time I gave myself really sharp stilettos, I completely forgot and stuck my pinkie into my ear when it itched 😱 I'm fine now (a little blood for two days) but I've never gone back to long stilettos
Suzie, your hair looks great but you always look gorgeous. The highlights and side swooping bangs look very pretty. And what color is the polish you are wearing. (Aren’t you glad I don’t live next door?) You are such a skilled artist. The way you make those art brushes flow is amazing. I am so great full for you and Camera Man making these awesome teaching videos. You have no idea how much I appreciate you.❤️🔥
Almond suits Steve's nails!! I love almond nails, too. Steve has gorgeous nails!!! I had square for years, but branched into almond and coffin! I still does square every now and then, but wear more almond and coffin nails
Yeah I would say as a professional I was always told 3-4weeks max and then you have to get them redone. 2 weeks is best but 3-4 is not bad but it’s important to get those fills not only to make sure there’s no lifts or bacteria happening, but also the structure of the nail when grown past 3 weeks the apex is no longer where it should be and risks of breaking a nail really bad are more likely
I understand - I meant that I didn't like having to go every 2 wks for a fill I wasn't satisfied with the service I was receiving for the cost Now I enjoy doing them myself - I get exactly what I want 😁 @@NailCareerEducation
Oh suzie. I love watching you at work. You're like a magician. I've been trying my hand at nails for a few months and I watch all your videos. I've learnt so much.
Guys, I think, in general have stronger and faster growing nails. It’s like in the wild, all of the boy birds have the prettiest colors of feathers. I think guys should have any nails they like. If they want pink nails with ribbons 🎀 and bows, then they should have pink nails with ribbons 🎀 and bows.
There! That’s the color of nail polish I want…the color of the tube you just took the file out of. BTW, I want you to call it “Suzie’s Color” or “Suzie’s Polish”. Or Suzie’s whatever you want to call it. “Suzie is at Tiffany’s”. Tiffany Blue is the closest color to it, and it fits you and your business so well.
Ngl, I was really hoping for a followup to the last time. I'm super glad you did it. It's great to see what's changed and how you continue from an initial nail appointment. Also, love Steve. I hope we see him again in the future
Hi Suzie, I’d like to first of all start by saying I absolutely love your videos especially with grant and Steve here. I’ve had no previous interest in wanting to do nails or get my nails done however you’ve inspired me and I’d like to have a little dabble into it. I was looking into your website and absolutely love the look of your products and know that they are great products as I see you using them. However for a nail starter I do believe your price point is very high for someone who is only wanting to test out products. You state that it is for professionals and also non professionals but the price point for me is overwhelmingly high.
Steve, you were def meant for long nails! Almond looks amazing on you. I also think it would be interesting to see oval. I think that’s a pretty shape, but I feel like it only works on certain people.
Hi Suzie. Love this look and Steve’s hands are definitely meant for the camera. How long does this design last with no top coat over the entire design?
Suzie, your hair looks great but you always look gorgeous. The highlights and side swooping bangs look very pretty. And what color is the polish you are wearing. (Aren’t you glad I don’t live next door?)
You're so creative Suzie...what a God-given gift! Steve's nail design reminds me of two X-Men characters (their skin): Mystique & Nightcrawler. I think the markings are angelic markings or something? Anywhoozle...amazing results!😍💅🎁
Hi! This is first time commenting. I've been watching you since middle school you're one of my biggest inspiration to start going to a nail tech school! I love watching your videos and playing them in background when I'm doing stuff. I have a question, I've started a going to school and I was wondering what nail brushes I should use?? My teacher uses a kolinsky nail brush but I've seen that those are expensive but I was wondering if I can buy one similar and somewhat affordable.
Did they not give you a kit? Usually a kit with brushes and etc is included in your tuition. If you’ve just started maybe you could check and see if they’re going to issue one. If not, find the size that works for you depending on what you’re working with. Some are way more expensive than others. Gel is different than acrylic and you might need different size brushes. Hope this helps! ❤
@@lolAnnMarie182 yes I've got a kit but the brush is horrible, even my teacher told me I should buy one for myself and told me that she doesn't like the brushes the school gives us. Forgot to ask yesterday before I left class which brush I should thats similar to kolinsky.
@@zee044 ohhh okay gotcha! I’m not a nail tech (looked into it though), just self taught to do my own so I don’t have any recommendations for brands of brushes but I’m sure other people in here will. Glad you’re going to school, we need good nail techs who care! ❤️❤️
The one question I have is why did you use a purple polish and the blue chrome... could you use a blue polish then the blue chrome or would that just not look right... please let me know... love watching what you do
@NailCareerEducation thank you so much for answering...I have been watching your videos for a couple years and I have been doing my own for about a year..I get so many compliments on them and i thank you for that
May I ask why you don’t use a dust collector suction fan to pull the dust away? I’m just curious… Sorry if you mentioned it before and I haven’t caught it.
Este hombre tiene las manos hermosas, suaves y delicadas...beautiful nails !!, que envidia . Yo tengo las manos de estibador, extremadamente secas debido a mi trabajo. El color es increible.
Is your niece still learning to do nails? It would be cool to see her progress. Or if she chose not to continue learning, it would be interesting to hear her reasons. It might help someone who gave up on learning.
Suzie, I noticed you don't use a dust collector while filing. Is this because a duster's noise could impact the audio of the video? Or do you not like dust collectors? I've been trying to decide if getting one for my personal gel nail hobby is worth it or not. They can be expensive.
Yes they are too loud for when we re filming - but even at the nail table they are noisy/ I prefer a fan on low blowing the dust away from my breathing zone
Steve is one of the best guest on your channel, he doesn't talk to much, is very chill so he's not a distraction. And his hand looks great on pictures.
Ya he’s great - I do love his hands
I agree and I was going to tell her as much
