This is great! I'm just starting my journey to learn how to play this bass. I was looking for someone to create some tabs, so I had to purchase this! Thanks!
I discovered this song 15 minutes ago and I can't believe how obsessed I am with it. Thanks for uploading this, I'm going to have an awesome time playing along!
@mattedjon-veryaccuratetabs thanks so much for doing so! I've been playing bass for just over a year but drums for about 16 years so I got excited at the idea of learning a song in 7/4 on bass! The timing for those chord changes is just unreal, so fun to play!
I'm glad you enjoy it !! You're right, this bass line is so creative, I just loved playing it ! Btw she released another song yesterday and it's pretty cool too :)
Thank you! Bass is such a rewarding instrument to learn, and I highly recommend giving it a try. It adds so much depth to music. Let me know if you ever decide to pick it up-I'd love to share some tips!
Hey dude! Awesome playing! I think the triple stops in the choruses are a bit different than what's in your tabs though, it's some gnarly stuff! Bravo!
@@mattedjon-veryaccuratetabs I really like it. Gives me Bjork or Death Grips vibes, with the exploration of rhythmic and phrasing boundaries. Definitely not vanilla.
@@mattedjon-veryaccuratetabs I guess if I had to recommend a single song, it would be I've Seen Footage from The Money Store. It's their most approachable but it least exemplifies their typical disregard for the norms of anything musical. If you give the track a few listens, it will grab your attention. From there, everything is more abrasive and experimental. Death Grips was founded by Zach Hill, known as a math-rock drummer. If "I've Seen Footage" blows your skirt up, go back to original mixtape Ex-military and then all of The Money Store. They explore an even broader landscape in later albums, but you'll have a pretty good idea what they're about after those first two. David Bowie was a huge fan of this band when he was working on Black Star. Anyone Bowie called "the future of music" I thought I'd better check out. They were my toughest acquired taste, by far.
Cool I'll listen to that !! I know Zach Hill from working with Omar Rodriguez Lopez (guitarist of Mars Volta) and Bowie's Black Star is one of my favorite album !

Great play through of a really cool song. I love the 7/8 in a pop song and that chorus in 4/4 is perfect really .
so cool! i don't play bass, but i love it!
Even if you don't play the instrument, I find it always interesting to see what the musician did

Yeah those notes were really hard to hear and figure out, I've spent at least half an hour just on them. What do you hear you?
@@mattedjon-veryaccuratetabs I think I hear C, Am, C, Am...I'm playing it with root, octave and the 3rd an octave up.
@@leroybasslines that's exactly it
This is not exactly what I hear when I isolate the bass but I might be wrong. Yours sound great as well !
Awesome! I was wondering if I could find that anywhere. Thanks a lot! :-)
You're welcome !! As soon as I heard this song, I knew I had to make a video cover with tabs :)
Ну ты крут! Сейчас снимаю партию, спасибо!
Спасибо тебе! Надеюсь, тебе будет так же весело играть этот кусок, как и мне!
No wonder I couldn't count it...
