She sounds like she is singing from the back of her throat. Her voice isn't fully developed. Yes, I watched VOICE, WHO HAS TALENT etc... This new album, “empathogen”, is just absolutely perfect!!! If this album doesn’t win a Grammy for Album of The Year, then something is definitely wrong here!!! This definitely builds off of the explosive rock-sonic musicality she conjured up in her album . She really hit it out of the park with this single and has set me up with anticipation for her coming album (if there is one, as I've not seen an announcement myself, yet.) The jazz inspired riffs, the patient percussive rhythms, her heavenly, resonant vocals, and the pacing/timing of this track is a joy to behold. Had me sitting there, wondering if I were truly listening to her, or if I were day-dreaming, LOL.
