Great hacks! I always enjoy your lessons - there's no verbal BS to wade through. You do it at speed, show it, teach it slowly and *bam* like throwing spaghetti against the wall and it sticks - al dente. You da man!
I really like the dynamic tab insert with video of fretboard and picking hand. I would encourage you to use this presentation style in most lessons. It really helped me tie both together. Thx

I really just have one hack. I play the solo to "Stairway to Heaven", in the correct key of course, over everything. lol, it takes some doing sometimes to get it to fit in a coherent, melodic manner, but ultimately, it gives me the starting place to figure out where to use SPACE when I do actually come up with my own solos. I sometimes use the solo to "Santeria" as well. One's Major the other Minor so you don't have to think to much, but they can also be flipped to use in the relative minor/major key. You just emphasize the notes differently. That system helped me tremendously. I'm sure anybody could find a few solos that they like and know to use to the same effect.
Great job Eddie, I'll work it over and over but it will take a while... but tell me how is your Amp set up? My vypyr 60 seems complicated, I could use some lessons on that too bro!

I have a question I would like to hear your opinion on. I hope to own a semi-hollow guitar soon and would like to have a Floyd Rose style tremolo put on it. I never have seen one. I like its light weight aesthetic over the Bigsby tremolo everyone has defaulted to. My question…. can it be done? Is there any reason I shouldn’t persue building mine like this? One last reason I want one, EVH invented his “Tuna Fish” dropped D feature. I commend and support him for inventing that and I want to own it.
