- In this video Brent from ENCORE goes over how to install Paint Protection Film in door handle cups. One vehicle gets better coverage with a more difficult install. The other gets minimal cover with a very easy install. After these two PPF door handle cup installs we'll go over installing a door edge. Take a look at the differences in the installation techniques between the two different door handle cups. The installation process is pretty straight forward but you might learn some tips and tricks.
It's taken years to perfect our installs, and we'd like to share this knowledge with everyone.
My name is Brent and I have been an automotive window tinter since 1998 and have been installing paint protection film since 2004. In 1998 I took a 5 day class to learn the basics of window tinting. Then I started tinting cars and learning as I went. In 2004 I bought a roll of paint protection film (clear bra by 3m) and taught myself how to install it. I am now the Owner of ENCORE Window Tinting and Paint Protection Film in Stockton, CA.

Thank you!
You're welcome!
Can you make a video matching and cutting the cup protector? Thanks
Yes, the next time we need to do this, I will record it. 👍🏻😁
genial, bravo....
Thank you! 😁
Learning new tips here, thanks
Great to hear! Thank you for leaving a comment and letting me know that the video is helpful. 👍🏻😁
Have you started cutting on paint yet or practicing?
@@EncorePPFtint I did … I have an hard to getting the screeching noise (probably don’t apply enough pressure)… I use 30degree Blades . Ill try with your Olfa to see if the results are better. I’m sh@$ scared of getting through my 2023 4Runner’s paint… Your videos helped me very much!
Are your 30-degree blades made by Olfa? I've found that knock-off blades can be really bad. I now only use olfa exclusively.
Definitely practice a lot before cutting on your 4runner. Hitting the paint is a really hard way to learn how much pressure you need!
First! 😂😂😂😂
You really command some respect around here! No one is willing to challenge you on the firsts. You should take that as a compliment. 😁😂
@@EncorePPFtint why thank you Sir! I think they just haven’t paid attention. I was hoping to create more comments on your videos. If it doesn’t work, I will go to the garden and eat tacos! 🤣
Where are you getting these legendary tacos? I need to get my hands on some of them! 🌮 🌮 🤔
@@EncorePPFtint well the struggle is real my friend! You have to try these over here and those over there and it could be a restaurant or it could be a truck.
Awe c’mon! You’re monetized now making big bucks stop skimping on the tac fluid!!!
😂🤣 2 big bucks a day!
@@EncorePPFtint hahaha a friend just got monetized and it was only $1.68 and then they took it away because he reposted an old video of his own.
@whoiswaynereynolds5457 Wow, I didn't know that was a thing. I've reposted videos after removing parts and condensing them down for a shorter version of the video. Hope that's not against some terms. If I
@@EncorePPFtint they said because he didn’t change anything at all
