Done without relief cut.
Great video. thank you. I would like to know while doing the door, should I remove the door handles, or just go around it. Do the seams collect the debris and become visible over time?
If you have a good quality pre-cut pattern, go with that. If you don't, then remove the handle and install like that. Hope that helps!
Thank you for this. I'm doing a full wrap on a Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. The letters are molded (punched) in to the tailgate and bedsides. How would you handle that? Heat the film and stretch it in the the recesses of the letters? It's pretty intricate/detailed.

Can you tell me what is the brand of ppf
Great videos. I'm new to this. I've done a few door sills on my vehicles and am considering 1st six inches of hood and front bumper area. What PPF film(s) and mils do you use? I've been using 3M PPF but it doesn't seem as stretchy as what I've seen you use on door handles and fenders.
We use our Defense+ PPF and its 8ml thick.
Excellent video. Stretching is so important for a perfect looking job. Lots of training and practice required.
What is the slip solution applied on the clean handle, prior to pot application?
Johnsons baby shampoo and distilled water.
Can i ask what's your tuck solution made of?
Just hot water.
what is your hot water tack solution? Ive had some success with hot water but there are some drawbacks
Hot water. Refill after each panel.
What would you suggest PPF cutting should be done by hand or by plotter?
Depends on the situation. Matte door handles? Definitely bulk.
What ppf thickness did you use here and what do use generally?
This was 8ml thick.
Do you have any videos of a full door PPF install? Not sure how to deal with the door handles with a bulk install.
We do not have a bulk door video unfortunately.
@@DriveProtected do you just not recommend doing doors bulk? Was thinking of doing my 4Runner but not sure what to do about the handles. I might just try removing the door handles and reinstall them after the PPF is installed.
@Fadic4 if you’re going to go bulk, definitely remove the handle for a cleaner install.
Why don't you use glove? Wont it get fingerprint marks on the f film

What do you mean by bulk
Bulk means not using a pattern. Just one large piece of film that needs to be trimmed off once installed. Hope this makes sense.
