Jude 14 says HE brings his saints with HIM. This is not SDA doctrine. You quote Jude that proves SDA doctrine false.
The dead are dead when they die not in heaven or in hell but in the grave either awaiting the 1st ressurection when jesus comes or the 2nd ressurection when the wicked rises up to recieve judgment.

That breath of life God gave us, which quickens us, is actually a portion of His Holy Spirit. Each one who is alive today possess a portion of God's Spirit in us which gives us lives. Without His Holy Spirit in us, we die and return to the dust of the ground. We were created in the image of God, a microcosm of Himself. As the Spirit of God is in Him, so a portion of it is within us to give us life and to quicken us to be more like Him.
God's Word says that Adam was made in God's image, but when his son was born, his son was made in Adam's image, his fallen, sinful , going to die and return to the earth to await the 2nd coming .. Gen 5 : 1-3

Here are some definitions of "soul" from the Oxford English Reference Dictionary (revised second edition).

I believe that a soul is a body with life but at death it’s just DEAD, until God raises it to Life in Heaven or Death in Hell forever consumed by the Fire and destroyed and forgotten. If you haven't become dissatisfied with the Bible because it was written by people who believed in supernatural beings, it may help you to know that those people made it extremely clear that a "soul" can be something other than "a body with the breath of life."

When you see your dead loved ones or the dead apostles appear to you and teach all sorts of unbiblical stuff like the Sabbath being changed to Sunday, you will believe them because you don’t know that the dead are in the graves and whatever you’re seeing are demons who are taking advantage of the lie you believed.

If those who died in Christ will rise to meet him in the air when he returns, then where are they rising from? They are rising from the grave. How can they rise from the grave, if they are already in heaven? We also know from the Bible, that when Jesus returns, he will establish his kingdom on Earth, so those who will live during his reign, will recieve their reward on Earth, not in heaven. Heaven is the home of God and the angels, not men. None of us will be going to heaven or hell when we die. Those who die in sin, will remain in the grave until the white throne judgement, and then their souls will be destroyed, not eternally tormented in hell. Souls are not immortal, like many of us have been told. The Bible even says not to fear those who can destroy the body, but fear Him who can destroy both body and soul. Your soul exists only for as long as God tolerates it to exist, after which, he can destroy it.

You answered your own question if its HIS will to destroy the spirit, it doesn't say HE does. It says to fear HIM that can. JESUS taught more about eternal hell then heaven. You didn't prove soul sleep and we have plenty of scriptures that debunk it.

Besides, it's the teaching of us not having a spirit that actually sets the stage for a different gospel of adventism. In the Christian world it is the core biblical belief that it is our dead spirit that needs to be raised to life and that's what it means to be born again. That is the blessed assurance of Jesus' resurrection and the reason we can have assurance of salvation, currently...Since Adventism rejects that we have a spirit, it sets a great foundation for a works gospel. 😢If there's no spirit to be raised to life and sealed with the Holy Spirit, your efforts matter for keeping your salvation and keeping your justification and that's the entire point of the SDA deception.

I have several comments.
You don't understand English, you don't understand how to use a dictionary, you don't understand your English Bible and you don't understand how to use a concordance. In fact, all you need to understand the state of the dead is your King James Version (KJV) Bible and an English dictionary. In discussing James 2:26 you think a concordance is helpful and say "spirit" is just breath and apparently ignore all of the other possible meanings of spirit like "rational soul" and "mental disposition" in that same concordance. Words mean different things in English, Greek and other languages depending on the context in which they are used. James 2:6 says the "body without the spirit is dead" which in plain English means a person is composed of a body and a spirit. In English both "soul" and "spirit" can mean a person's mental processes.
"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28.
Give that some thought. In English it says man can kill the body; that would be like a Christian martyr burned at the stake. It then says there is only one who can kill the soul in hell. Did God destroy the soul of that martyr in hell? Did He destroy the soul of that martyr in hell? A person is composed of a body and intangible mental processes that can be called the soul or the spirit. No one who has thus far died has had their soul or sprit destroyed in hell. Your English Bible says that.
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death." John 8:51.
"Never see death" in English means never die. The soul of a righteous person whose body dies is not dead. All that composed that person's mental processes or "soul" or "spirit" is kept in the memory of God in a sleeping state until God puts that soul back into a body in an awake state. Get that? The soul sleeps a deep sleep when the body dies and knows nothing until resurrected but that righteous soul never dies. Just so as not to confuse you, in English the word "soul" can mean a living, thinking person or it can mean that person's mental processes. A soul has a soul.
"These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead." John 11:11-14.
Make it easy on yourselves and just learn and move on. Eminent princes of the Seventh-day Adventist regularly make similar statements as you have because they don't understand English either and think Greek and Hebrew are of great help. Don't be impressed because they went to the Andrews University seminary and have "Dr." in front of their names.

Jesus clearly teaches in this text that the soul is not naturally
immortal. It can and will be destroyed in hell. But what does He mean
about killing the body, but not the soul? Is it possible for the soul to
exist apart from the body? Some say it is, but the Bible indicates
otherwise.
The Greek word “psuche” has been translated “soul” in this text, but in
40 other texts it has been translated “life.” For example, Jesus said,
“Whosoever will lose his life (psuche) for my sake shall find it”
(Matthew 16:25).
But what of Matthew 10:28? Put in the word “life” instead of “soul”
and the text makes perfect sense in its consistency with the rest of the
Bible. The contrast is between one who can take the physical life and
Him who can take away eternal life. Proof lies in the words of Jesus:
“And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body,
and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you
whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to
cast into hell” (Luke 12:4, 5).
In other words, the word “soul” here means not only life, but eternal
life. Notice that Luke says everything just like Matthew except that he
does not say “kills the soul.” Instead he says “cast into hell.” They mean
the same thing. Men can only kill the body and take away the physical
life. God will cast into hell and take away eternal life. Not only will their
bodies be destroyed in that fire, but their lives will be snuffed out for all
eternity.
@@mrfelix2510 It's true that the soul can destroyed in hell. The soul in Matthew 10:28 means the intellectual functions of a person. When a person's body dies, all that composed a person's intellect, or soul, is kept by God in a sleeping state until the resurrection of the body. In that respect, the soul of a righteous person never dies.
Soul does not mean eternal life. You don't need any Greek or Hebrew to understand this.
After the judgement of the wicked, they will be destroyed both body and soul forever in hell fire.

Of course, have you not read;
Eze 18:4 KJV Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Notice that there is a condition to never seeing death, they have to keep His sayings. It not something automatically given to everyone and the soul dies.
To suggest that man has an immortal soul goes against the plain teaching of the Bible.
Gen 2:7 KJV And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Notice: man was not given a soul but the breath of God with the dust of the ground together makes a living soul. We don't have a living soul, we in our current living state, are a living soul.

Again, they don't have immortality, they seek for it. If they already had it why would they seek it?

Again, this mortal must put on immortality, they don't already have it.

Just so we're clear;
Rev 17:14 KJV These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
John 1:36 KJV And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
Notice: Jesus is symbolized by a lamb, Lord of lords and King of kings.
So where did the teachings that a man has an immortal soul come from?
The pegan teaching that a man has an immortal soul that lives inside him, came from Plato and Socrates, Greek philosophers, not the Bible.
For Socrates, our bodies belong to the physical realm: They change, they're imperfect, they die. Our souls, however, belong to the ideal realm: They are unchanging and immortal, surviving the death of the body.
The concept of an immaterial and immortal soul - distinct from the body - did not appear in Judaism before the Babylonian exile, but developed as a result of interaction with Persian and Hellenistic philosophies.
Furthermore, for one to teach that a person has an immortal soul that lives on after death goes directly against the teachings of Jesus.
Death for any man is referred to in the Bible as "sleep" because from the time they breath out their last breath to the time of their appointed resurrection, they are unconscious of time.
Job 14:21 KJV His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them.
Concerning the sleep in the graves and the resurrection, Job writes;
Job 14:13-15 KJV 13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.
Job 19:26 KJV And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
(Not in a spirit or being with no body, that is Greek mythology teaching)
The Psalmist writes;
Psa 13:3 KJV Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
Psa 146:4 KJV His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
What would be the purpose of having a body less being in heaven if his thoughts perished at his death?
Daniel writes;
Daniel 12:2 KJV And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Jesus said;
John 11:11-14 KJV 11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
13 "Howbeit Jesus spake of his death:" but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, "Lazarus is dead."
Lazarus is dead, not Lazarus is in heaven or somewhere else. Or his spirit is somewhere else while his body is in the grave.
Matthew writes about the dead and where they are after death.
Matthew 27:52-53 KJV 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Thus the Bible says;
Gen 3:19 KJV In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Ecc 12:7 KJV Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit (breath Gen 2:7) shall return unto God who gave it.
Both the righteous and the wicked are preserved in their graves.
Jesus said;
John 5:28-29 KJV 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
In other words, 2 different resurrections.
The 1st being the resurrection of the righteous when Jesus returns, the 2nd being after the thousand years when Jesus returns for the final judgment and to make the earth new again.
1Th 4:16-17 KJV 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise FIRST:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
At the close of the thousand years the second resurrection will take place. Then the wicked will be raised from the dead and appear before God for the execution of “the judgment written.” Thus the revelator, after describing the resurrection of the righteous, says: “The rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.” Revelation 20:5. And Isaiah declares, concerning the wicked: “They shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.” Isaiah 24:22.

JESUS promised the thief on the cross "TODAY" thou shall be with me in paradise not in 1844 but TODAY. 1st Peter 3:18,19 agrees that in the heart of the earth the Godly were in Abraham's bosom (paradise) and the ungodly were in the torment side. Both sides fully conscious able to be taught; 16:19-31.
Read John 20:17. Jesus did not go to Paradise the day He died according to His own words. Do you think Jesus lied or did you misunderstand Jesus's words? Look up what ADL said about the Thief on the Cross and also The Rich Man and Lazarus.
