Wow, others demos only make this pedal feels so digital, but you really shows us that this pedal so well at the low gain stuff and how close is it compare to to original pedals. Good job!
This is the closest I've ever heard digital distortion getting close to the analog counterparts. Still it's missing the punch of the analog versions and probably has more difficulty getting through in a full mix with other guitar players. On it's own, most people probably wouldn't hear a difference, though. (besides with the fuzz face.)
It sounds fantastic for digital, all IK does and aside from TH-U they are about as good as digital gets for now, but the "Yellow, Green, Cat" still are missing that top end, and dynamic range of the real deal. If you can't afford the real deal, by all means support this awesome company, and know you are getting better than the Helix Stomp, but if you can get the real ones nothing compares. I will say the fact that you can preset these though probsbly makes them more than worth it for a cover band. :)
Now show me the Klon, Analog man King of Tone, Tone Bender, Friedman BE-OD, Butler Tube Driver, Fulltone OCD, and the Wampler Sovereign. Then I'll buy it.
Digital sounds horrible. The one and only one is the old Tube Sreamer, the other failed completely. Weak, no real sound. Maybye the yellow have one as pro: it's few money for acceptable result. Amplitube X-Drive is a waste of time and money

To my ears sounds almost the same + comfort + less cable noise + save your favorite presets + audio interface + + + for me is an amazing deal
Love this video - purchased the boss od200 and returned it, it was not good, but I would buy this X drive🙌🏻👊🏻
Free from amplitube, till end of Feb. that is the software version of it.

Great demo. The thing with this Amplitube equipment is that it emulates pedals that are not as such holy grail anymore.
The screamer sounds the closest to my ear, but all of the tones are definitely in the ball park.
O my fuzzy crap from a digital pedal hat a surprise haven’t they figured out how to put high cut down around 5/6. I wanted to like it.
