Tom From Tom's Trains+ Things Visits Howard Zane's Layout!

- About 2 years ago at the Great Scale Train show at the Maryland state fairgrounds I recognized a well known Model Railroad ,RUclips creator Tom Kvichak of Tom's Trains and Things. He came over to see my model railroad that evening and previewed it (first time it had ever been videotaped). He also featured it on his RUclips channel. I also told him I really wanted my own RUclips channel but had no idea how to go about it. He not only set up my You Tube channel Al Pugliese Trains ,but also gave me over 80 subscribers before I even had my first video up! He was instrumental in helping me start my channel. He has many tutorials and step by step build videos to help beginner model railroaders so I highly recommend, his channel and thanks again Tom! His channel is @TomsTrainsandThings

Tom is nothing less than a treasure to us model railroaders ... he got me interested in Arduinos and model railroading ... and it's been fun!!!

I am electrically-challenged too. 05:04. I'm an armchair model railroader...have been for years. I didn't learn a lot about the hobby as far as building layouts go. I never had the space to build a Layout. I hope I do find a home that will eventually afford me the space to build one. And I hope Tom's channel is still around when I do build a layout. Right now, I'm just an HO scale brass model collector...have been for many years, on and off.

Yea, F*ck. How do we save this incredible work of art? I mean I hope Howard lives for years, but lets be real. What happens to the layout when he passes? I'd buy the house and the layout if I had the money, but I do not. If I had ownership I could afford to maintain it, but I'm an old man, too! I'm 65. I fear we will lose this masterpiece unless we start planning to preserve it, now.
One of the purposes of my channel is to preserve and get as many videos as possible of artist like Howard Zane Harry Clark George Sellios Bob Vangelder and others. I may not be rich enough to buy it but I can sure try and preserve as much as I can on video and learning all I can from him and other great artist in the hobby to share what I can with my viewers.
@@alpugliesetrains9753 I have been working on making plans to have my layout preserved for a long time after I pass and my wife, Sandy years afterwards. We have already put all into a trust and much,, much more designed to keep layout alive. Why give a damn? Shit, this is my legacy and others should have to opportunity to enjoy and play with this monster. Art must be shared or it is not true art. I will make a promise is if somehow the home gets sold and the new owner tears it down for his or her cave, I will come back from the grave and haunt the living shit out of them to the point that they will run for their lives. Then I'll still haunt them! HZ
