Have the same car, but a 2013, 1.4 L petrol one, without the START/STOP system. I did translated the questions and answers. But just to make sure... There's no need for the radio code?
Did the swap today. Everything worked as expected, no problem with the radio, only a time setup needed. BUT: after the battery swap the ESP light remained ON, indicating there's some problem. After a little bit longer drive, it went away. Had a look at the ECU via OBD, and indeed there was an archived, inactive DTC with the ABS module. Just a little side info, if someone run into the same effect/problem.
I have done this exact same thing but my new battery now slides left and right, do I need a wider battery? The new one was recommended by the local battery shop. Thanks

No code needed, this cars have no codes ! 👍
Only if you want to install a radio of a another same Hyundai ix20 you need to decode it! Because they work with the VIN number.

If it’s bigger the original battery I think you must change it in the shop and buy exactly the same battery in size and capacity!
