This is not necessary! It’s recommended yes .. but believe me nobody do that in real life ( even the people who say to do that) (maybe few of them) you can not create such of pressure on the reservoir to damage something! Hi! Yes the F44 has also the Battery in same location ( only the cover is a little bit different) ! If the problem is direct after the turn off (or few minutes after) I think it’s time to change the battery! Sadly the new batteries has a very bad quality and after a cold weather or a long no use or the vehicle that happens ! Otherwise maybe you have an electrician lost somewhere….

@CARSPARTSTOOLS thank you for your reply and advice. I will say the car even after 2 to 3 hours run once it turned off, it won't turn right back on unless you have jump starter connected.

@CARSPARTSTOOLS yes it was the negative terminal was disconnected. Now I don't know how the car been starting even driving without the negative terminal connected or the vehicle has 2 batteries, I'm really surprised but I connected back and everything works like it should. Thank you so much

Look this is very difficult to choice of oil in any engine in the brand! For example here in Germany if you want to buy a good oil everybody search for a liqui moly or maybe Castrol! That’s not means there are the best oil ! Maybe you can find a better oil for your engine! I think the Renault and Nissan are using ELF oil ! But in a common situation Shell and Total are a very good option! In our dealer of Nissan ( I work there sometimes….) they are using Shell ! And the price is acceptable!

​@@CARSPARTSTOOLSKIA recommends Total oils, but I want Shell to service me, so what do you think about their products :) I also considered Millers Oils, but the price is much higher! Maybe after the warranty :) thanks for the opinion!

Shell is a very good oil ! You can use it without to think about a mistake! Just find the right one for engine (5w40 ,5w30 specifications etc..the brand is one of the best for sure!

@@CARSPARTSTOOLS I use Shell professional RN 17 and its the best till now regarding engine noise at normal or spirited driving.... I have used on my car Castrol RN17 ( which is now OEM for renault) Motul rn17 but none of these compare to the Shell regarding engine noise at cold and at hot temperature....

They have quite a lot of oil (5l) for that engine capacity...that's not common...more like 4l. right?

Yes if we compare it with other engines in the category 1.2 - 2.0 ltr it takes a lot of oil! But I think it’s a good thing because of the modern intervals( 30.000km ) every oil change! ( I don’t recommend this because I have see what happens after 3 intervals like this) but the amount of oil maybe helps a little more!

Sprühe etwas Bremsenreiniger vor dem bürsten darauf, das bindet den Sraub. Zusätzlich stelle ich immer einen Mülleimer darunter .

Hi ! Is the engine light came after battery replacement? Normally it must be gone after a drive or in the next 2 /3 starts of engine, ! There is no problem to remove the negative for few minutes!

Hi! Maybe… if the pads is free moving on the drivers of pads holder and they are braking only after a drive , maybe the caliper is damaged!the piston of the caliber comes not back!

Yes in this video I have changed only the oil in gearbox,( normal process like in the dealer also do in the first service of CVT) in 60.000km only oil and in the second (120.000km)you can also change the filter in the cooler and inside the gearbox ! But I think you need also only the fluid for the time! Thank you 😊

@@CARSPARTSTOOLS do you know if it resets if you check the oil?? cause as soon as i ckecked it it gave me the warning. I filled up with 400ml still gives me the warning, then i made a reset and then gone

What kind of reset do you mean? Normally on this fiat‘s you can not do a reset of service manually ( as I know) or it shows that the oil level is too low ?

before i check the oil i didnt have the warning of low oil. i just wanted to check the oil and when i turned the ignition on it gave me the warning. I put like 400ml and still i had the warning.. then i made the oil level reset

@ what tools does one need to get all those parts out of the way?

Normally, socket 8mm, 10mm , 13mm, slot screwdriver for the filter and something to remove the plastic clips ( screwdriver or a special tool *)
