  • The Red Reef Trail in southern Utah may be the best hike in Utah that's not in a national park. But most visitors turn around at the Moki steps at the waterfall that is just 1 mile into the hike. With just a bit of effort, going beyond the Moki steps will get you to the scenery and adventure that make this hike a must-do.

    Fun video. This trail is the “red cliffs scramble”. The slippery Water fall you climbed is not the trail FYI. There’s a safe way around it especially since the first half of the year it is filled with water. It’s also a loop. You didn’t have to turn around. You can do the loop in either way. Cheers!
