Haha that’s funny! I am in Alabama and for the last couple of years we just started exploring our state and are finding out that there are soooo many beautiful and awesome places that we had no idea was here. And I have lived here my entire life of 47 years. Y’all truly have a amazing and alien like state and we will plan on trying to make a trip next fall to see most of this.
I visited Utah on mid July. Amazing experience!! I envy the people from that state is like living in a PC wallpaper picture!! Dune, canyons, arch, salt planes, desert, dunes. Etc.
So grateful to have been born here in Utah. I'm 35 years old and I still look at Utah's geography in awe. Walking distance from my house is the Wasatch Front Mountains and go hiking in them almost every day
Chuckles R Us, Did I hear him right? Did he mention a couple times that Hanksville is in Central Utah? I have lived in Utah my whole life and for the 1st 45 years I lived in Mt. Pleasant which is actually smack dab in the center of Utah. In fact it's known as "Hub City" because it's the official center of Utah. I've lived in Coalville for the past 6 years though. I've never been to Hanksville but I know it's way down south by Lake Powell.

Kevin: Nice selection. You got some of my favorites. My grandfather took me on Jeep Safaris starting when I was 5. I am 67 now. The first time I visited Temple of the Sun, Moon, Goblin Valley, Factory Butte, various Bentonite hills and other unnamed places. In the late 50’s, Grandpa and uncle, had articles that were among the first to document less common arches, the Maze, and much of what is now Canyonlands N.P. They also did a lot in what is now Capitol Reef and many things south. Off the Hole-in-the-Rock road, up Davis Gulch nearly to Lake Powell, is Bement Arch, named after my uncle. In 1996, we went to the Temples to do night photography. This required overland travel as the nice roads did not exist. Anyway, loved your video! My age and different injuries prevent difficult hikes now. So I will get my desert fix from your videos. Thanks and safe travels!
The 6 of us friends went and made it to these places in an RV in May 2019, just before the COVID and in love with them. So glad we were there. Can not describe the beauty. Not sure when we can visit again but sure wish we can. May be one of these days when all of the crazy things going on with this world ended then we can, I wish
Hey Kevin thank you for creating this video it was really well done and I am so inspired to road trip out to Utah! I really am interested though where the second shot of this video is with the red sand and round white/ beige walls. Thanks!
Great list of some wonderful places here in Utah. Have lived here my entire life (46 years), have seen so many more incredible places to visit. Gunlock State Park, Goblin valley, Antelope island, and so many more. Having heavily traveled the entire southwest, Utah is one of the most beautiful states in America today!
Wow .. I mean like Wow. What a classic piece of art .. so well done with the drone footage absolutely stunning. I'm going to leave my camera/tripod behind and just take my phone . Please keep em coming ! Seriously, your work is astounding.
I enjoyed your aerial videos. Utah truly is a beautiful state with so many wonderful areas to visit. I've lived in Utah my whole life and have been to 14 of the places you mention on your list. I use to to visit some of these areas as a kid with my family, and we would be the only people around, now, not so much. It is getting harder and harder to find isolation in the wild areas of Utah. I had to smile at the way you pronounced some of the locations, i.e. "Zion", "Uintas" and "Bonneville". Just talk to one of the locals, they will tell you how to pronounce the names correctly. Have fun out there!
I agree about the crowds. I visited Utah “many” years ago, very beautiful & very pleasant. Visited again “several” years ago still beautiful, but crowded & not being a local we sort of felt we were looked down upon by the locals. I hope we’re wrong.
The noise from motorized vehicles has destroyed the peacefulness in Arches, and the long lines to get in during summer are sickening. Too many people!!! 😔
Just visited Moab area and specifically canyonlands National Park and Arches N. P. I especially discovered Dead Horse Point state park and believed it almost best of all three based on views and color during various sun angles or sunrise and sunset. I definitely wish to return and see some areas that you visited here
And photographer Michael Fatali decided to light a huge stack of pallets inside delicate arch to film the effects for a ‘photo op’ Luckily the park ranger saw the smoke and fire and raced up and arrested Fatali and fined him 15,000 dollars and BANNED him from Arches NP forever. His business basically began to collapse as former clients doubted their pricey photos were real ie contrived and in poor taste. The scars are still in Delicate Arch even after restoration
At least Michael was honorable enough to apologize to me after I called him out for his atrocities, I think he got religion and some really bad karma. I took my two Fatali photographs down. Bad bad Michael Fatali. He had everything going right until his bad judgement.
I am also a Utah native with homes in both the northern and southern parts of the state. Utah’s national parks are so exceptional that the state parks and forests are often overlooked. Yet they would be national parks in other states, that are not similarly blessed. Examples, Snow Canyon, Bryan Head, etc. It’s easy to get away from the crowds.

Great list. I was a huge fan of Zion's Canyon Overlook trail when I went last year. Great views of the valley from a high vantage point, but far less strenuous and dangerous than Angel's Landing. A really great alternative that you can finish in an hour or less.
We live in Texas, but I LOVE Utah. I've been to the salt flats, hiked to Mesa Arch (although not at sunrise!), hiked to the Cove of Caves. We also went 4-wheeling in Arches, and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, I'm no longer able to hike, so we'll have to stick to the 4-wheeling now. But I'll be back!
Great video of some great Utah locations - some of which I never heard of, even though I lived in Utah for several years. One place I'm surprised you didn't have on your list is Goblin State Park. It is northwest of Moab and rather isolated, but some extremely unique rock formations. Also thought you might mention Uranium Arch near Moab (not an easy arch to get to).

Love utah. Northern and southern utah is so different and all special. One of the most under-rated states. Incredible hunting and fishing too. Little Sahara and Sand Mountain for riding ATV. Maple Canyon for world famous rock climbing.
Totally awesome great video bru. Thank you for sharing this incredible video i enjoy every single minute of it. UTAH has awesome amazing spot, places parks to visit. I sure do miss BeUTAHful
you should definitely check out the Utah west desert, its an almost abandoned place with lots of scenic mountains and open valleys stretching from delta all the way past the Nevada border.
Photography is amazing. If you could list all the places mentioned in this vedio and provide a map to show their relative locations, it would be very helpful for us for our trip planning. Thank you.
Hole in the rock and devils backbone both around escalate grand staircase national park. Hoke in the rock is a 4 x 4 road that takes almost 6 to 8 hours round trip to get back to the views. One of the most amazing places I've ever been.
Thank you so much for your videos on Utah! I’m going there this summer so they’ve been very helpful! One thing to note, since April 2022 of this year, you DO need a permit to hike Angel’s Landing. They do a seasonal lottery drawing for those who have applied for the permit, and then they also have a daily permit lottery that you can enter the day before you plan on taking the hike.
Ha! Nothing special, these are from H & M actually and definitely not "hiking pants" but they are some of my favorites haha. If you go to any REI you can find a good pair of slim fit hiking pants though!
I did Mystic Hot Springs a year ago, it was underwhelming overall. Half of the tubs are what i would describe as luke warm. The best one was the giant manmade pool that had the water funneled to it. The most disappointing part is there was nothing else other than the hot springs. Like once you got your fill of the springs, there wasn't other things to go do or see. It was a long trip to spend 2 hours in a hot tub But not to sound all negative, it was pretty cool once you finally get relaxed and hang out for a bit. My skin didn't like all the minerals that caked on me after i dried off. HAD to shower for sure
Kevin, I've hiked virtually all the Uintae trails. By a wide margin, the most beautiful day hike in the Uintae's is the Allsop Lake Trail. It's an all day grind (16.9 miles) but lots of soil, long flat stretches, and totally doable in a day for a reasonably in shape person. Look at photos of the Allsop Lake Trail on Alltrails. I have no idea why Amethyst Lake Trail gets more love. It shouldn't. Allsop Lake Trail in in a more lush, more steep valley with a meandering river and wildflowers (in summer) the whole way. Truly gorgeous.
Great video. I'm so looking forward to when the Can/US border finally opens up and we're able to do our Utah canyoneering road trips again. Anyway, here are a few more spots you might want to check out. IMO the most scenic canyon I've done would be Pine Creek in Zion. The most enjoyable canyoneering outing was Chambers, followed by Little Bull in the afternoon. And the coolest feature has got to be the rappel through the Golden Cathedral at the end of Neon Canyon.
Thanks! I am glad you like it, I too cannot waittt for the us Canada border to open. I want to spend a summer again in the Canadian Rockies. And thanks for the recommendations! I haven’t ever done proper canyoneering but would like to sometime!
@@KevinEassa If you don't have climbing or canyoneering gear, I can still think of a few canyons you should do to get that canyoneering experience without needing a rope and harness. First I'd recommend the Dry Fork canyons (Peek-a-boo & Spooky Gulch) near Escalante as a good warmup. If you enjoy those, then Egypt 3 is a nice step up in difficulty that you'll probably enjoy as well. I also highly recommend doing the West Fork of Blue John Canyon at the top, and then funneling down through the lower canyon (Lower Main Fork section) until you reach the big drop/rappel. Then turn around and climb back up canyon the same way you came. Finally, Ding and Dang canyons make a fun outing as well.
@@Hoppecs03 The Subway and The Narrows are two totally different hikes. They aren't even part of the same river or canyon, Virgin River for The Narrows and Left Fork North Creek for The Subway. The Subway isn't even in the main part of Zion NP, it's part of the Kolob Canyon area of the NP. Trust me, I've done both hikes and the two hikes are VERYYYY different and the Subway is not a part of The Narrows.
hi Kevin. Love your videos. please can you tell if we can fly drone at these places: 1.Bentonite hills, 2. Factory Butte, 3. Mars research station, 4.Mesa Arch. Thanks so much in advance.!
Im looking forward to visiting Utah this year and wanting to see what’s some good hikes to do there and this video definitely helps. Utah looks so beautiful from all the places you’ve shown here.
I have been to a place called Goblin Valley state park, it is next to little wild horse canyon. It is really cool. It has hoodoo that look like goblins, hence the name.
No off road vehicle needed! I did it in my old GMC Safari astrovan, technically that car is AWD. But I'd be willing to bet I could make it in my Corolla so you should be good in anything
I'd like to add one to the list that so many people are unaware of. Nine mile canyon, which is just a few hour drive from the main valley (Provo). Incredible petroglyphs and the drive through the canyon is absolutely amazing and beautiful. Also, most site's throughout the canyon are reachable to even the novice climber.
@@davidnilles3117 I had a few days in Colorado back in December, and Telluride and Ouray were so beautiful. The Million Dollar Highway is incredible...
@@KevinEassa we definitely should have. But we were limited. Did get to see quite a few things on your list. I want to go back and spend a solid 4-5 days in Moab and then at least 2-3 in Zion... We also didn't even get to do anything in the center of the state. Still so much to see. I'm constantly checking flights now, lol.
Dude, super sick pics and vids of these amazing places. Very well done and very informative. I’m really curious what drone you use. I have a DJI Air2S that I’m still learning to fly.

Hello Kevin, I am looking forward to shoot my music video in Utah next month. I am gonna be in Salt Lake City, Moab and Park City... what are the places you would consider the less crowded, do you know if theres a best time to visit them and not be bothering people on their adventures? Thanks!
Thanks for watching Claudio. So I am not sure, if it is a music video you will probably need permits for most places? I'm not really sure how that works. But you can go somwhere like Factory Butte that is BLM land, would be awesome!
Thanks for a great video showing me some spots I'd not heard of before! Great photography and drone footage. But I'm surprised you didn't list anything in the Grand Staircase region. If it's because you've not visited yet then you gotta check it out!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much! I have been since this video and have a handful of hiking vlogs on here like our backpacking trip to the Cosmic Ashtray, but I can't wait to go back and explore more!

@@richbarney4281 why wont you ever see such splendor? Are you lazy or in prison? Its illegal for many reasons. Most people who venture into congressional designated wilderness hate the sound of drones. Thats why they went there! Ahh one other reason... for those drone pilots who respect others in the wilderness and the federal law. when one dumb ass breaks it and shares it for followers or vanity it make drone pilots look bad and more ensuing regulations will come around cause of this kook
I love all the video but, I have a question? Drone footage inside of the parks, is no a problem with the national parks? Do you have a special drone linces or how can I fly my drone in to the national parks!
We love Utah's parks. One of our fav things is hiking the many slot canyons. I want to share one of the less known one, the Upper Red Breaks, near Escalante. Follow the Harris Wash until the trailhead. The canyon splits and you want to take the upper one (the less visited one). You would have to climb out of it before the split in order to get into the upper branch. Too long to describe the route here, please research it. It is a super skinny slot at one section that we could barely pass through it. If you plan it right you can continue hiking at the end to the Cosmic Ashtray. Warning: compass/gps and map or some navigational tool is needed. I rate it as difficult but really fun. It will take a full day to do both. Chances are you would be the only one in the area too. Have fun.

Totally awesome great video bru. Thank you for sharing this incredible video i enjoy every single minute of it. UTAH has awesome amazing spot, places parks to visit. I sure do miss BeUTAHful
Thanks so much for watching Tommy! Really glad you liked it!
Is beautiful .I would like to visit Utah . Beautiful Mountains ❤
One day I hope you do! Thanks for watching
I was just everywhere in Utah for all national parks but I haven’t seen some in this videos. Ty for sharing
you should definitely check out the Utah west desert, its an almost abandoned place with lots of scenic mountains and open valleys stretching from delta all the way past the Nevada border.
Noted! Will add it to the list next time I’m in the area!
Thanks for sharing... great video.
Thank you so much :)
@@KevinEassa I love to fly my drone and take video which place you will recommend. Your video is so inspiring.
We tried to go in the spring but our car couldn't make it. Can't wait to get there next time
Thank you so much for your videos on Utah!
Tons of useful information and great presentation. National Geographic traveler couldn't do any better in my opinion!
that's so awesome to hear you say that, thanks so much! and thanks for watching!
Very nice video! Greetings from the Netherlands
Thanks for watching!
Badass video Kevin, thanks for the info! Also on 8:28 what brand in grey pants are u wearing? I’m trying to find some slim fit hiking pants tia
It was a long trip to spend 2 hours in a hot tub
But not to sound all negative, it was pretty cool once you finally get relaxed and hang out for a bit.
Thank you 🙏🏻 for this knowledgeable content , it’s an excellent job ✊🥰 keep safe , God bless you 🫂😘
I have been on top of angels landing …what an experience and breath taking … what more is there to say….
We love Utah! ruclips.net/user/shortsrWoyokvZgQc?feature=share
You should check out The Subway at Zion. It's probably my favorite hike/canyoneering experience in all of Utah
Subway is part of The Narrows in Zion so its pretty covered but doesn't sound like he went far enought
Great aerial photos. Thanks 😊 🙏
Thank you brother for the inlightment
Thanks for watching!
Extraordinary video. Thx for sharing
Good video!! Direct and to the point with good descriptions throughout!! Enjoyed it !!!
Glad you enjoyed it! thanks for watching!
Have fun! You will love your trip, thanks for watching
I have been to a place called Goblin Valley state park, it is next to little wild horse canyon. It is really cool. It has hoodoo that look like goblins, hence the name.
Excellent video. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Check out the Burr trail and take it right into Canyonlands park.
Is there an easy way to get to promontory point? I see roads on the map that lead to the pennisula but wondering if I need an offroad vehicle?
No off road vehicle needed! I did it in my old GMC Safari astrovan, technically that car is AWD. But I'd be willing to bet I could make it in my Corolla so you should be good in anything
Absolutely EPIC!!!!! BTW where is the second scene shown in this video? It's the one where a big rock surrounded by orange sand. Many thanks!
Thanks! Cosmic Ashtray, we have a video on it as well!
I'm from Utah and have never heard of most of these, got some exploring to do
have fun! Thanks for watching
So beautiful places! Thank you for the video. I'd like one day to visit those picturesque places. Btw i am watching you from Russia
Planning a trip there at the end of April. Assume the roads & hiking will be void of snow & mud ?
There’s also more of the number 5’s along i70 by Richfield.
Nice! Such an awesome area
Very cool! Glad I stumbled upon this now. Renting an RV for 9 days. Spending a few days in Colorado, a few in Utah. Maybe too much good info, lol...
Haha you’ll have to rent the RV for a few additional days! I hope you enjoy your trip
Doing the same thing this summer. A few days in Colorado at Durango and Ouray, and then over to Moab.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Dude, super sick pics and vids of these amazing places. Very well done and very informative. I’m really curious what drone you use. I have a DJI Air2S that I’m still learning to fly.
Thanks so much! This video was shot over many years so it’s a mixture of the mavic 1 pro and the mavic 2 pro but I currently have the DJI air2s so all of my newer videos are on the same drone as you! It’s such an amazing model!
@@KevinEassa Thank you so much for the info and for your videos. It’s good to know that there are some cool beautiful places to fly without getting in trouble.
We’re coming off a pandemic EVERYWHERE is crowded right now.
I saw all 5 NP’s in Utah last September. Was a great time to travel. No issues at all.
Once the biden bucks are spent and the available jobs disappear then it’s gonna be better
Great video and awesome places. We have a class c RV so not sure how many we can get to but willing to see.
Beautiful. I subscribed. New friends from Las Vegas
Thank you so much! I hope you like the channel!
Thanks it’s a great video, and the photos are beautiful as well, keep posting similar videos pls (maybe about colorodo)
Absolutely! Thank you. I don’t have any top 10’s or anything of Colorado but I do somewhat live there so I have an entire playlist of “hiking in colorful Colorado” with some destinations you might like to check out!
Awesome Video Kevin!! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you Doug!
What is that spot at 0:02 sec please anyone?
Cosmic ashtray, I cover it in a few other videos on the channel!
Eu Amo ❤ Utah, Cidade de American Fork- UT Uma Cidade Incrivel.
Great job!
We live in Florida but Utah is my favorite state! 💗
Thanks so much! Utah is so incredible!
@@KevinEassa do you need 4 wheel drive for the dirt roads to the Ashtray or is it decent enough for a regular car?
@@CPerryTravels regular car is fine! I have a whole video on just the ashtray!
Thanks for making these! inspiring!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
Hey thanks so much for watching! If you enjoyed this video it would mean the world to me if you could give it a thumbs up and subscribe! Lots more to come!
just in case you didn't know its illegal to fly drones in wilderness areas. Mt Olympus, and Amethyst Lake
U said bentonite hills are all over but where exactly did u go to see these blue hills. They r amazing. I want to head out there this October
@@hmoobmua3067 they are located outside Hanksville Utah. Very close to the Mars Research Station. Here is a link and address. mars research station utah
@@ash7675 Illegal illsmeagal, who cares!! It's because of people like Kevin that great work is displayed to the world 🌎, especially for us that will never see such splendor without these awesome videos!
You have some superb videographic skills.
Could you create some Utah driving videos?
I love all the video but, I have a question? Drone footage inside of the parks, is no a problem with the national parks? Do you have a special drone linces or how can I fly my drone in to the national parks!
I was born in Utah I know everything about Utah it has breath taking nature
Thanks for the good video Where is 00:03?
Cosmic Ashtray! I have a video on it!
hi Kevin :) may i know which overlook is it at 6:39 :) thankyou!!
Nunca tinha visto impressionante impressionante woow....
Have fun.
Imagens incríveis
can’t forget west rim trail in zion, 15 miles
I haven't done it yet but it is on my list!
Just a little tip here at 2:34...don't be running down or across anything that slopes...one slip..or slide...could easily be your last.
Good tip, the slick rock in Utah can be slippery!
Have you ever hiked Timp? If yes, did you do both sides and/or the slide? If not, I would highly recommend it. Thanks for the vid and best wishes
I haven't yet but it is very very high on my list
Thank you for sharing. Love it!
