Watch as Neil Peart, Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee of Rush are inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame by fellow inductee Tom Cochrane.
Over the course of their career, Rush has sold over 40 million albums worldwide while receiving countless awards and honours, including 10 JUNO Awards, a Governor General's Performing Arts Award for lifetime achievement, and the Order of Canada.
In addition to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, Rush has also been inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame (1999), the CMW Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame (2003), the Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame (2010), and the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame (2013).

Thank you Neil, for everything you gave the 12 year old me on his first listening through all the years until 52 year old me writes this. The opening of your speech is now so poignant. I never met you yet feel tears well up now so can not even begin to imagine how Alex and Geddy are feeling.

Thinking that the band persevered for so many years because they had a safety valve in the form of court jester Alex. Will miss seeing the three of them together. Thank goodness for DVDs and the Internet the world will always know there was RUSH.
