I was there this morning and I attend the MI music week camp. Alex came in and i got his autograph and a pic with him. One of the best moments of my life. Completely amazing.
Well it's about time Rush got a star!!!! It was long overdue!! One of the best bands ever!!! They're extremely talented, humorous, and gracious. A true class act!!!! Peace, Kim
I lived in Hollywood from 1984 to 1988 and walked everywhere, but never saw a band with a star. I grew up listening to Rush and playing guitar. I learned so many guitar parts of Alex Lifeson. It's probably a reason I got into that Guitar Institute of Technology, but it just seems so odd that bands have stars.I know I might have at least seen Michael Jackson or even maybe the Rolling Stones, but is their a star for The Clash or The Kinks- who wrote the most known song of Hollywood's Walk of Fame
The greatest band ever...........period! Hopefully the Hall of Shame finally gets their head out of its ass and inducys them. Great band, great people. They don't resort to rock star bullshit in order to sell records. They're so "normal." And that is in no way a bad thing.
@bdysrf If you watch the beyond the lighted stage documentary, you get an explanation as to why almost all of the publicity stuff is done by Geddy and Alex. Neil is very private and shy.....don't fault him for it (I was super surprised to him appear on the Colbert Report show with Geddy and Alex a couple years ago). He's still the best drummer and part of the best rock band there ever was. RUSH!!!!
I don't know....Neil needs to get a clue and support the people (in person) that gives him those fantastic checks coming in every month. Hardcore RUSH fans deserve much better....

Couldn't disagree more. Neil is who he is and that's how he's able to do what he does that we all enjoy. He doesn't owe me anything.
