Fun video guys !!! 2 things I noticed. Y’all talked about how the wool jackets make you have a more casual look which I would agree that’s one downside to most of the leather jackets you own. Though cool jackets I think they add 5-10 years to u and yourre a relatively young dude. One of the exceptions is that buco jacket . I really like how all the hardware on the lower parts seems to be dark or blacked out to some degree cuz it simplifies the look and differentiates it from others like it that all look the same. The studs on the collars are very cool and the fit looks perfect. Doesn’t look like a grampa jacket lol. Have a great week ! Thnx for the video !!
That's a fair point. Some leather jackets, especially brown ones can make you look a little older. Fortunately the wool ones don't do that if you wear them with the right outfits
It crazy that I've been experimenting with heritage clothing and some work wear like Red Kap short sleeve shirts that actually can look like casual shirts and jeans and moc toe boots that I wear casualy along with bikers wallet and chain and my wife loves it. The job I do can be quite nasty so I leave my uniform in my locker and wear some of my red kap stuff to work and back home and she always ask are you sure you been to work 😅😅 her younger sister always says I look to nice to be just going to work 😅 I'm a older guy 62 to be exact but I get a lot compliments from women half my age they love the rugged mature look to be honest I think the skinny jeans are played out just good old fashioned straight leg jeans are in , I guess the grey beard and bald head helps 😂😂😂 I do love this young couple great video
Methinks it's not just in the clothes you prefer style wise but how you wear them. (The comments about flannels are a real tell.) Tucked shirts, yours I would call a neat style. The heavy flannel untucked is a bit more "grunge" and that was not a heritage style---I can hear (the ghost of) my father telling me to tuck in my shirt. I think my wife prefers "neater" too, but I tend to go both ways: a neater, more put together look and a denim-head-ish undone. I think the key is knowing what you like so that you wear the look and it doesn't wear you----and that you have fully accomplished as well.
I really hope I'm not kicking off a War of the Roses-style showdown here, but the green Sportclad jacket beats the blue one hands down. Apologies to your lovely lady.
I don't want to offend anyone but the leather jacket hands down is really hard to pull off! It just screams "TRY HARD" to be cool. Every guy buys that "cool" leather jacket only to end up in the closet collecting dust. I mean, not even women can pull off a leather jacket, just comes across as cheesy. Especially the black leather jacket. The wool jackets are legit badass though!
I’ve got to disagree with you there. I live in my leather jackets and my wife has a few she often wears. I ride a bike so there’s the practicality also. I’m 56 years old and worn black leather jackets all my life, they’ll probably bury me in one 😂. That’s me in my profile pic with the Mrs both in black leather jackets, not trying too hard to be cool but just happy.
I have a schott perfecto and I rarely wear it because it’s just not functional or comfortable enough even after I broke it i, I don’t think it’s because people can’t pull it off but for me personally it’s just not something that functions well as opposed to to my M65 Army issued Field jacket which is vastly more versatile and comfortable.

That's a very good point. I do tend to go for a neater style even when I'm casual. I definitely am not into any sort of grunge style at all

Sorry, but I disagree. Once they fit well, they are effortless and very easy to wear. They also can be quite versatile
Totally agree. If you're confident, they're not try hard at all. They're actually very casual and easy to wear
