Mirror's Edge Catalyst - The Shard (1 Hour of Music)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 26 авг 2024
- 1 hour of extended music from the mission The Shard. The video starts off with a far out view from behind the tallest building in the city of Glass and continues up to the very top and ends looking towards the lower helipad after the chase section. The music features an ambient mix to reflect actual gameplay.

11 years since the launch of Mirror Edge.
5 years have passed since the premiere of Mirror Edge Catalyst.
No other game has offered us a similar experience. Mirror Edge is a unique title that cannot be simply copied.
Your absolutely correct.
has it really been 12 years since the first mirrors edge and then 6 years since the 2nd? where is our third game?
Mirror's Edge 1 is from 2008 and even at the time you wrote your comment (2022) it was 14 years old, not 11. DOOM II (1994) was as old at the time Mirror's Edge came out, as Mirror's Edge was in 2022. Worse, at the time I write this in 2024
Time is merciless and it's coming for us all.
@@thomasvleminckx Time sometimes, but it doesn't change the fact that there are still no games similar to Mirror Edge.
Unfortunately.
Which is quite... absurd.
We have elements of parkour in some titles, but unfortunately they are combined with a lot of unnecessary combat.
@@MarekKrassus53 Where was I arguing against any of that? Dude...
Glad someone else appreciates this game's music like I do!
You'd be surprised, there are a lot of people who appreciate this music.
The music's great, it's just the gameplay that sucks :(
@@bigbitehood1353 Why ? The gameplay is sick, you even have a grappling hook
Thanks again. And again.... And again.
And again.
I remember getting a slight vertigo sensation playing through this level for the first time, this Shard building was so much more futuristic and really reached for the heavens...Faith was nuts for jumping from those spinning blades! Thank you as always for posting these amazing high quality ambiences, it really shows how much you appreciate the hard work and artistry that went into these games 🙂
This was the first game I experienced vertigo in and I honestly applaud the game for that haha
Still feel it each time I play the last mission and Benefactor, and in general the game does a fantastic job really getting the sense of scale the city has

Breath taking moment.
I lowkey have this theme play in my head every time I see The Shard London. The fact that The Shard London is at a relative distance from any other skyscraper gives it that sort of detached feeling like the Shard in catalyst. Feeling far away but still a prominent figure in skyline.
Even the maintenance corridors and plumbing areas are a work of art.
Honestly, those videos only make me realise that the game will stay a timeless piece of eye candy. Every single spot is just screenshot worthy. Thanks bunches.
I'm thrilled to know you take the time to bring us these amazing ambience pieces from such great titles. I wish Glass & Cascadia were real places, I'd live there.
Great work @gamingambience 🌟
Not a problem, glad I can share it with you all. Plenty more to come!
@Gaming Ambience Thank you so much for this. I have depression, and when I just want to listen to instrumental music these are the tracks I go too. I can’t express in words how helpful your hobby has been to me. Forever in your debt.
@@manlystan100 Hope you're getting better friend. Come back here whenever you feel you're not.
This music is like heroin to me. Once I discovered, I was hooked. For the past few years, nothing has ever put me more in the zone than these tracks.
I feel that. Even now, I'm sniping people in ground war on modern warfare bumping this, and it's such the vibe!
Thank you very much for doing ME ambiences! The visual and sound design of this game totally deserves it. Waiting for The View ambience
Yeah The View is going to be fun to make, both night and day.
33:53 i love It .... :(
43:20 - 46:30 My favorite part, Is very relaxing and wonderfull, i don't have the oportunity of play the game, but this soundtrack is very great!
Please do the extended versión of this part!

He did!! And it's so beautiful!
Well, you made me play this game, and I am not dissappointed! The ambience is outstanding, next to my favourite Mass Effect and Deus Ex levels.
Awesome!
Don't know if you noticed, but the Shard in the Shard level is only a third the size of the Shard in the background in free roam map. You can't unsee it and it's a little disappointing in-game.
So that's why it didnt feel as high as i expected...
@@djcubiceldanto3678 Well it turns out that its size in the actual level is the "real" size, but for free roam mode the devs decided to blow its size up so that it's more "noticeable" from anywhere on the map. Thus it ends up being nearly 8 km tall in it.
@@zolikoff even more insane than before
This game was such an incredible experience!
Absolutely stunning 💞
Love the Game, restarted it recently. This Shard dominates the London Shard... although this isn't in existence, which is a shame!
Awesome video, shows the true beauty of this level
ambience is amazing
Solar Fields what a great artist! This music are an incredible mix of emotions.
I just played this game. Always kept it in the back of my mind since first seeing it long ago.
I thought it was a fantastic presentation beyond the awesome parkour.
I really enjoyed the story and personality of faith and how that intersects with other characters.
Specifically I was shocked by this stage here. I didn’t expect such a beautiful and thought-provoking finale, and it was a real joy to play it.
The ending scene, so short, so crisp, and the meaning and the words and the atmosphere just hit so well, I just sat back and was stunned while I watched the credits play.
An incredibly beautiful game.
i want to visit this city and its buildings in real life so much !!!
its called the future, and it is coming. All we gotta do is wait :P
Always loved the places in this game. It feels so free and yet corrupted by the government.
Mirrors Edge ambience is iconic, truly timeless
The final faith stand on Catalyst was the best. But I hate that EA didn’t finish the fight.
This may very well be my favorite piece of music ever created.
Likely the one I have listened to the most.
This made me cry I went allthrough the mission and I SAID I DID It and the song almost made me cry
*consistently fantastic content dude*
I'm ngl, but the actual background scenes are so beautiful
Thank you for your efforts. I kept listening to it the whole day.
always wonderful...you do an amazing job, your channel ,is always my friend while i'm coding
The shard my fav skyscraper the only way is up to heaven
Один из лучших треков. Обалденно!
И не говори, самый настоящий eargasm

23:30 is such a good transition. Love it!
1:01:51... BOMB, as always with this number sequence
yeeeeeeeesssss, YEEES
Thank you!
Imagine yourself in the place of a worker who is building this building at the very top... It is worth imagining and already your hands are sweating.
I love this ambient Music so much! Before Sleeping ~~~~~Thank you~~~~!
was this game really that beautiful? damn, now we have ps1 Cyberpunk2077 graphics lol
they shuld make another mirrors edge
Id be eternally grateful if you could offer a download link for this
THE GAME IS EPIC same music

This is amazing
41:20 Most replayed for a good reason
How much I would love to live in a world that pristine - minus, you know, all of the shady government shit.
Wonderfull

Okay this building doesn't make any sense. Why is there a huge atrium with no use for it? All hollowed out? all that wasted square footage. There isn't even any furniture or anything
be beautiful
You must really hate museums
Ist just a Fictional Building

high
would rather climb this with all the gear than have to go to furry convention
41:44
43:23
Great try.
so this is a prequel? looks more like a sequel, too updated with crammed cheap drama, city and shard changed so much beyond recognition with too many elements, first one was the best
it's not a prequel.. it's a reboot
It's neither a prequel nor sequel, it's a complete reboot.
The first one was a semi-realistic hero's journey to fix some shit, while this is almost a Cloud Atlas story. Realism vs. impressionism
I think we can all agree that both games were good.
Great game but very lackluster in its content overall, this game could have been an open world with variety of options to do parkour on the surface and below but no.
shut up
@@linkenparis9562 No you shut up.
@@Zoza15 it is an open world
@@linkenparis9562 Its a roof game, an illusion of a open world, a REAL open world should be fully interactive including the surface, so stop bitching here you twat!.
@@Zoza15 what do you mean fully interactive ??? you are wrong admit it
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life john 3:16
Catalyst's soundtrack can not compete with the first game's one.
