I can perfectly picture myself at the top of a big building little far from downtown contemplating the view as the sun rises.
Glass (from the original game at least) was directly modelled after Tokyo. The games concept artists spent considerable time gathering reference photos on location Akihabara, Shinjuku etc... Check some of the "making of" content on YT.
Regatta Bay was the most beautiful place in videogames I've ever seen. Great lounge space, skyscrapers and luxury yachts! I still cannot forget that view.

Generic Enemy didn’t really like the whole black November terrorist plot. And Dogen was just a bit much, didn’t really understand what they were trying to do with him. I felt like if they focused more on faith and the runners the story would’ve been much.
Generic Enemy NPC Same, I’ve played the original thinking that Catalyst was a sequel, but I was astonished by the reboot and totally acknowledged and perished the new characters, storyline and atmosphere. They’ve all improved dramatically
Honestly i head the xbox one and skull candy head phones plug into my remote. Every level and side missions was incredible music with parkour to me ! Both Mirrors edge games have a permanent place in my heart. Though i may bot have a console now I always revisit the soundtrack
I've been looking everywhere for this mix! After you beat the game, this track doesn't play in the area anymore. I was so desperate that I played through the game again just to hear it again.
There's a mod which you can put on the game and make it play the Act 2 songs from all the areas. Look up for "nexus mod mirrors edge catalyst act 2 music".
Such a beautiful mix, I remember playing the game and stopping when this track came on to look around at the glass buildings. I sometimes play this mix when in my local city, watching the world go by through the window of my favourite coffee shop. Thanks for posting.
Out of all the music parts of the view, this will always be my favorite. The others are good but this one... I am at piece. Especially at night.. When the music plays when your sights are just right(the billboard)(the regatta safe house/ side) your eyes'll sing.
There is something about this game that is unexplainably gorgeous. The second you see the title appear above an early morning City of Glass, when that music plays, it is indescribable I will forever love this game, the city and the music. The Shard is something I cant stop staring at.

Yup, very much like the Los Angeles of the Blade Runner movies, the city of Glass is a dystopia, but you can't help but find beauty in it.
