Los Angeles intersections are literally this for left hand turns. Theres even the strategy where you sit in the middle of the intersection and wait for the light to turn red for oncoming traffic so then you can turn left.

That’s the sound of an external wastegate. Fluttering under acceleration is turbo surge and a bad sign.
You also get loud spool noises with no air filter. You can hear it in decel and right up until you make the actual power
