oh, that's a pity, are there any goggles at all which can be weared together with glasses ? I've not a acceptable view without them. Recently I purchased the VR008 goggles from Eachine alltough they are cheap they are useless to me because of my glasses.
i bought the V800d ( already had the V800 standard) butr if i put in the SD card , the ScreenBlacks out after 10 seconds , i have to reboot , it isnt possible to fly with SC Card , also Record Button dont work . I try 4 different Micro SD Cards, alwasy same problem . Too Bad
Hm... really bad problem! Mine seems to work fine so far, but I have dedicated 1 SD card only for the goggles! Have you tried formatting the SD card? File system should be FAT32, not exFAT. What size are the cards? I am using a 16GB one.
Rai Alice Actually a 64GB card would be exFAT and that will not work with the goggles. You need a 32GB card at the most, that is formatted to FAT32 files system.
Thank youz very much for that info , this could be the reason why my google always shutdown after 10 sec. with 64 GB installed SD card ! i will order today a new 16 GB . Thanks you , your info helps me a lot :)
Eachine EV800D DVR problem When inserting micro SD card in goggles (not drone), a vision signal is losing after 10sec. In fact, power is automatically shut down. Then I need to press a power button to turn on. Without using a microSD card, the vision signal seems to be stable. My friend bought the same, and had same issue. He asked Eachine to send new one due to initial failure. In conclusion, please tell me how to fix a problem if anyone had same issue. I use beta flight, Beta65X HD, Frsky. Otherwise I may need to ask Eachine company to send me new one!!
That is the first time I am hearing of an issue like this! Mine certainly doesn't have it! Perhaps a defective batch?!?! Which would be a bummer indeed... :(
If they had 720p or better yet 1080p I would snap them up . The resolution is just too low ....... I also want to create a Living room set up with a roof top Antenna Array so I can watch on my 50" TV as I fly around the neighborhood . Throw the quad or plane out the back door and experience your flight in first class comfort ! Any geniuses out there ?
Hahaha, that is certainly an interesting idea, but if you want to connect to your TV, then you wouldn't need the goggles! Would be awesome if you can make that happen though! :)
Because when I fly these small races close by... there really isn't a need for a second antenna... and I am lazy to put it on there! When I fly my planes and know I will go out far, I put two antennas on.
When I fly with circular polarization on the copter or plane, I use the stock antennas that come with the goggles... and they work pretty good! When I have a model with a linear antenna, I use two linear antennas that I got from a crappy HD system I tested... but at least the antennas were good. Sadly can't link to it, as it never made it to production!
@@arthurzhao6678 Like I said... they came off of some prototype 5.8g HD system, which never made it to production... so I have no idea what they are or where to link from! Also, I've not really made comparisons with the stock antennas that come with the goggles, but I'd say at least 1.3x increase in range could be expected, if not a bit more.
@@arthurzhao6678 Well again... that is something that will depend on your location, vtx power and vtx antenna! I can't recall anymore, but I've had video from a few kms away in a rural environment with only regular CP antennas both on Vtx and on the goggles.
OK... this is so weird... the Chinese ripping off each other! Hahahahaha! Was about time! But honestly... makes no sense to me that these would be clones... isn't it possible that there were a few defective units? For me it makes sense that all these are made in the same factory... but for different retailers. It is entirely possible they are not clones... they were just requested with a different feature set and cheaper components to save money compared to the Eachine ones!
Because I was flying a copter near me, and really have found that one is enough is this situation! Besides, the particular antenna I have on the goggles came from a crap HD system, but the antenna itself turned out to be awesome! :)
Claimed 82 degrees. I know it is as big as I would want it. Any bigger and I might start missing stuff since I can only focus on so much at a time. I also had to add reading lenses to these and had to play with the positioning so that each eye could see all of the screen independently.. so that means, a pretty big screen.
Read THIS BEFORE BUYING THE ev800d's I wanted a nice pair of fpv goggles and after weeks of searching, I found these. At first glance, they seem amazing! (diversity, dvr, and a good price) everything I want. After receiving and charging up for the first time was immediately met with issues. The first being the charge indicator in the top right. At full charge, the little battery icon is full (3 bars) as is should be, maybe 5 mins after it drops to 2 bars, then about 10 mins after, 1 bar. I'm sure it would last a lot longer than it indicates, but since it doesn't you are left guessing how much charge you have. The second big issue is the charging itself. There is a red LED that comes on when the charge is started. After about 10 seconds a green led comes on making a clicking noise and flashing very fast. I believe the green LED should only come on when the lipo Is finished charging, but since it doesn't I am left guessing when the charge is finished. Because of this issue, I under charged the battery. This caused the goggles to lose battery mid flight forcing me to take off the goggles and land LOS. Very scary! Glad I was close enough. Those were the big issues… i could go on all day talking about poor Menu design, cheap construction, or weak straps, but you've probably heard that before and to me that's not as important. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE! I'd much rather pay another few hundred to get a pair of fatsharks then lose a $500 quad/plane because of cheap hardware.
Sounds like you have a fault Have you phone where you got them from I have a pare and have no real truble with them Yeh the menu and stuff but thay are cheep what do you expect from 70 pound box goggles lol
The goggles work fine for me. I like 'em. The fast-flashing green LED may mean you have a defective battery. Mine doesn't flash like that, and my power doesn't run down nearly so quickly. And really, if you have a $500 aircraft, then what are you doing with $99 beginner goggles? These are for newcomers with $80-$200 drones dipping a toe into the hobby to see if they like it.
The problem is this: there are no good box goggles on the market at any price, every model has some kind of problem or missing features. And I can't use fatsharks because they are too small for my IPD. I would fatshark price for good box goggles if they existed, if I can't buy fatsharks with 80 mm IPD. So frustrated!
Why on earth would a beginner pay $300-$500 for goggles when they aren't sure how much they will like this? Your comment seems very "fanboy"'ish and/or a fake account to discredit a good alternative for people who have to spend their money on more important things.

Haven't tested any of that yet. (anyone correct me if wrong)
Great video ! Do you think, I can wear these goggles with my glasses on ?
Jelle Kaptein nope, you can't...
oh, that's a pity, are there any goggles at all which can be weared together with glasses ? I've not a acceptable view without them. Recently I purchased the VR008 goggles from Eachine alltough they are cheap they are useless to me because of my glasses.
i guess Eachine VR011 should be able to do the trick, but its pre order ....
Thanks for the tip, It's meant for use with glasses !
Thanks, like Merin already told you, I doubt these will be usable with glasses! I hope the VR011s will do it for you! :)
How can you see the drone battery voltage while flying
Either the flight controller or the camera must have an OSD capable of showing you that on the video feed!
what would be a good upgrade in terms of antennas for this goggle?
I guess a pagoda for an omni antenna... and the directional... no idea really... would depend on what exactly you are using them for!
freestyle flying .. in open parks mostly.
Yeah, a Pagoda on the copter, and another one on the goggles, plus a directional patch antenna of matching polarization should do the trick.
i bought the V800d ( already had the V800 standard) butr if i put in the SD card , the ScreenBlacks out after 10 seconds , i have to reboot , it isnt possible to fly with SC Card , also Record Button dont work .
I am using a 16GB one.
thanks for answer , i have a 64 GB , i will try re- format the card , maybe it helps.
Rai Alice I really hope this is the problem and a new SD card should fix it. :)
Can you where glases in them?
As I don't wear glasses I can't be sure. :(
@@ArxangelRC Well, still thanks for your'e time.
@@joepwinkelman2795 No problem mate. :)
Eachine EV800D DVR problem
When inserting micro SD card in goggles (not drone), a vision signal is losing after 10sec.
@@ArxangelRC Actually size of micro SD card could be matter according to other threads, so I will try 16GB instead of 64GB card.
Well I can tell you for sure it will not work with a 64GB card! Different file system!
@@ArxangelRC yes, 16GB worked, thanks!
Awesome!
will they work with dji caddx
These are not HD goggles.
yes , there are some options, but money wise i think this one is the most affordable, check this out fpv.blue/
Have you figured out how to attempt this? Maybe somehow connecting a vtx receiver to your tv?
Nice job! Thanx, Bye
Thank you! :)
why you only using one antenna. Whats the point of diversity if you dont use it. Just curious?
Because when I fly these small races close by... there really isn't a need for a second antenna... and I am lazy to put it on there! When I fly my planes and know I will go out far, I put two antennas on.
ArxangelRC Do you use 2 different antennas or 2 indentical ones? Also, could you please share the link?
When I fly with circular polarization on the copter or plane, I use the stock antennas that come with the goggles... and they work pretty good! When I have a model with a linear antenna, I use two linear antennas that I got from a crappy HD system I tested... but at least the antennas were good. Sadly can't link to it, as it never made it to production!
will this work with a DJI Phantom 3 Standard?
Nope, this is analogue, the Standard is still digital, even if over WiFi.
what antenna upgrade did you use?
Just some longer antennas I got from some HD system set that turned out to be crap... but the antennas were pretty good!
@@ArxangelRC can you send me a link to the antennas? how much do increase the range?
@@arthurzhao6678 Like I said... they came off of some prototype 5.8g HD system, which never made it to production... so I have no idea what they are or where to link from! Also, I've not really made comparisons with the stock antennas that come with the goggles, but I'd say at least 1.3x increase in range could be expected, if not a bit more.
@@ArxangelRC thanks, what is the maximum range you got while testing it?
@@arthurzhao6678 Well again... that is something that will depend on your location, vtx power and vtx antenna! I can't recall anymore, but I've had video from a few kms away in a rural environment with only regular CP antennas both on Vtx and on the goggles.
These look identical to mine except instead of eachine, mine are from makefire. That's kinda strange
Not really. They are the same goggles, just branded for another retailer! :)
ArxangelRC
I see that makes sense
No they are not, the makerfire and other clones have fake diversity (just 2 antennnas), ev800D has real diversity (2 separate receivers)
also the clones have lcd issues.
OK... this is so weird... the Chinese ripping off each other!
Why not 2 antennas on ev800d
Because I was flying a copter near me, and really have found that one is enough is this situation! Besides, the particular antenna I have on the goggles came from a crap HD system, but the antenna itself turned out to be awesome! :)
But what is the FOV?
Not sure exactly, but I think its higher than on the Fatsharks.
Claimed 82 degrees. I know it is as big as I would want it. Any bigger and I might start missing stuff since I can only focus on so much at a time. I also had to add reading lenses to these and had to play with the positioning so that each eye could see all of the screen independently.. so that means, a pretty big screen.
My Tactic FPV-RM1 Monitor has NO DELAY...
Weeeeell... nobody really flying a racing copter on a monitor... the goggles are working fine though! :)
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
:)
Read THIS BEFORE BUYING THE ev800d's
I wanted a nice pair of fpv goggles and after weeks of searching, I found these.
Mmm put a video up on your channel showing us
Sounds like you have a fault
Have you phone where you got them from
I have a pare and have no real truble with them
Yeh the menu and stuff but thay are cheep what do you expect from 70 pound box goggles lol
Your comment seems very "fanboy"'ish and/or a fake account to discredit a good alternative for people who have to spend their money on more important things.
gamers notice that delay easily.
Probably... :)
Confirmed: viewing angle=bad. Mine is identical branded Shinehalo.
What are you comparing it with? I find the viewing angle rather pleasing, unlike some other goggles that I've tested and seen! :)
what size is a standard fpv flight (3-4min)? how big should your sd card be?
This can work well with 16GB and 32GB cards, you can store quite a lot of 3-4 min flights on each!
@@ArxangelRC thank you.
