I agree on the diversity. I'm an electrical engineer and had my Amateur license since 1976. People who hate antenna diversity don't understand the receiver front ends are identical, and the advantage is in using 2 different style antennas. How the goggles select them isn't important at all as long at they select the strongest and don't do anything weird like hunting. We have a lot of "instruction manual experts" in this hobby. Good through review!
I was just about to make a post about this, it's good to hear from someone with more industry experience. It's the receiver sensitivity that makes the difference, receiver diversity isn't going to make a bad receiver good. Especially at this price point it's easy to imagine a manufacturer cutting corners on the receiver sensitivity in order to have that marketing checkbox "[ X ] True Receiver Diversity!!!"
Great posts. There was a an engineer with Fatshark talking about the antenna diversity of the Transformers and he was pretty convincing that antenna diversity can be every bit as good as true diversity if properly implemented. IMO, if the receivers are identical, receiver diversity will always be as good or better while antenna diversity can only be as good or worse. So true diversity is a worthy feature to desire but it is only one part of a much more complicated system.
Thanks for the review/comparison video. I purchased the EV800Ds recently and this gave me confidence I made the right choice, still waiting for them to arrive. Things are moving so fast in the hobby, within the last year there are so many more options for BNF quads and googles! I think the next gen of the Eachine compact googles will really stand out.
Excellent review! I was still a little skeptical about which goggle to purchase (either the EV100's or EV800D's), but your video was extremely sincere and pragmatic; now I know for certain that the EV800D is my go-to goggle until I can upgrade to a better set. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! PS. you just earned yourself another watcher, keep it up!
i recommend keeping an extra 3s battery on hand if you intend to fly for an hour or more. it comes with a balance connector to charge and it will bypass the battery circuit while its charging so you arent draining both batteries at once.
I have the EV800 and the VRD2. The EV800 just feels good and comfortable on the eyes, and the VRD2 needs some mods but works. Asides from just to look cool, I don't see myself changing to a compact goggles soon.
Great review. I have both the EV100 and the EV800 googles, I fly with the EV100 because they're more comfortable, more portable and I need reading glasses to see well in the EV800 googles but I've yet to find any that fit. If I had to do it again...I'd probably get both. The EV800's have a fantastic screen and are much better for trouble shooting since you can tripod mount them and set them on the desk while you work as well as allow spectators to watch you fly.
Mark, excellent vid. Great info. I have the ev100 and vrd2 . The other day I was flying my et100 and my ev100 batt was dead so I just picked up my vrd2 goggles and used them. It was the first time I've used them in a while. I was shocked how much better I flew inside with the vrd2. They just gave me so much more spacial awareness. For some reason I was able to control my altitude so much better. Now I still love ev100 because they do focus perfect for my eyes where as the vrd2 not as good. But in my opinion , the 5 inch box goggles are way better for nubes because of the FOV you get. I also have the vr006 I bought for my kids and they love them and I often let others use them for ride-alongs. I believe I might just stick with my vrd2's for indoors and ev100's for outdoors. Hope this helps.
DroneRacer101 ...interesting story. Short answer..the original vrd2. The long version ...the screen went out so I ordered a replacement 5 in backup monitor for a car that was an exact fit except the 2 inputs worked slightly different. I have a toggle switch to go between real time and DVR mode. But then the receiver board took a crap and I wired in an RS832 RX but I still retained the original DVR ( that is the same DVR as the eachine dvrpro , just without the case) the receiver and DVR are now mounted on outside of goggle case and I added a cooling fan for an old PC processor that I can plug into balance lead of lipo when needed. The whole thing runs off a 3 cell lipo with a regulator for DVR. So end the end , they started off as vrd2's but turned into VR-franken-goggle. It's ugly as sin but actually works fantastic. Also , I moved the fresnel lens as close to face as I could with some cutting and hot glue to best suit my vision. The factory adj's on the side were not quite enuf. If we're home at the moment, Id send a pic. They look like a science experiment.
#ItsComplicated :-) every set of VR-D2 goggles I have seen have the lens pulled all the way back. That is one of the reasons I dismiss that feature. Everyone sets them where the EV800D have them set.
DroneRacer101 Hey Mark! Would you recommend Eachine ev800d, ev200d, goggles 2, or vrd2 pro? Thank you PS: Yeah, the ev200d exist, they just came out but are wierd because they have Quad diversity.
I had the EV800S and was constantly pulling the screen away from my face as the image was several inches to close. Great picture quality but unless you have a way to pull them way further away from your eyes they're not gonna be off much use. Went for the skyzones with IPD adjustments. Must have on goggles made for smaller faces and nose sizes it seems.
Great review I also Have the ev 100 goggles and they work perfectly well for me I love the focal length adjustment on them i can see crystal clear without my glasses or diopters I agree the screen could be larger but at that price they work perfectly well
DroneRacer101 I am - 7 and - 6 on my eyes both are shortsighted and one of them is Astigmatic. So help me to find the way because I don't understand why on the ev800 I can see without prescription glasses.
AFAIK the EV800D also has real receiver diversity. The knockoff ones from brands like Redpawz and LS don't, but the Eachine EV800D does. The EV100 only has antenna diversity.
it does? i was not aware of that, awesome! also noticed that it can receive video without any antennas at all but only a short distance, I have not had the best luck with their supplied stingpad patch antenna. but just using my tbs unify antennas on a high mw setting gave me crystal clear signal from over 500 meters. i suspect it could go much farther but i dont have that much confidence in my DX6i :p
A m p-H i b i o u s FPV Your flying distance is not determined by your DX6i TX but with the RX (receiver) which you installed on the quad (is it full range or park flyer rx).
Glad I got the 800D. IF front batt was a prob, I'd just remove it and power externally with batt velcroed behind my head or on belt, in pocket. 800D wins bigger on my shoe sheet. Great helpful review. Thanks, good job!
Loved the comparison of the 2. I plan on buying the EV800. Will they work with the Bugs B2W I plan on getting? Instead of using either my iPhone 6 or my ASUS Tablet. My current drone I've been using is the Syma X5HW. How is GPS affected around trees? Most of my street is full of trees. The area I want to send the Bugs to has trees out around 200 - 300 yards away.
@@SimRacer101 But I believe you can just stick on a AIO camera like the eachine TX03 on top. Any inexpensive 5.8ghz fpv camera. (I'm pretty new so dont let me be the sole opinion)
i absolutely love my ev800d goggles. they are comfy and the ability to make it a ground station for anyone to watch is really cool. so its a good back up goggle to have. i am saving up for some skyzone sky02 now that they are going on sale.
You don't need linear antennas to receive from linear antennas. A Cloverleaf on the RX side is almost always better. The only case when a linear antenna on the RX is better is if you want only fly directly over your head.
Hi Mark , i fly using my Eachine EV800 , no diversity but i did add a Eachine Pro DVR and i also have a pair of Eachine VRD2 Pro that i keep as passenger goggles. If i had to buy a new pair it would probably be the Eachine EV800D over the EV100. I am also cheap and always seems to look for the best deals but best deals don't always mean best product of course. Great comparison , thanks for sharing.
I'm upgrading from a cheap set of Spectrum box goggles to the EV800D, waiting for arrival, as for the reading glasses, i remove the ear supports, and insert the bare glasses in the Spectrums, and will do the same for the 800's
I have both I was drawn to the EV100 because the EV800D's are so bulky and they fall on my eyes why I try to rest them on the top of my head while changing batteries or looking for my drone. But now that I have them both it's honestly really hard to choose which one I like more. The EV100's are nice and compact but they seem to have technical issues periodically and I don't feel like I can fully trust them. As far as range and reception while using the same antennas I can't even hardly tell the difference both seem to perform fine.
My VR D2 Pros work incredible! The diversity and range is amazing, although I heard many ppl like you had problems. The form factor is great. Can't wait to see the new Eachine EV200D
Just found the video. You mention that you think most people will move up to better, or at least more expensive goggles, but maybe not nearly all or as many as one might expect. I like my EV800D goggles, have had them for 6 years now (this is 2024) and have no intention of changing. For one thing, I simply can not use any type of 2-screen, binocular type, device even real binoculars as the images never line up for me. In my case, it is either box goggles or a ground station monitor. Yes, I also wear eyeglasses. Thing is, how many pilots are in my situation. The EV800Ds are actually used by long range pilots and have been used for flights as far out as 8 miles. Coolness doesn't matter since I only fly in rural areas and the only person who ever sees me is my spotter. I couldn't care less. The EV800D goggles are, hands down, my pick, the ones I use, and the ones that I recommend. Furthermore, I don't think there is sufficient value in high end analog goggles to make them worth the money. Of course, if you need box goggles, high end is nothing.
Great review, man. And I've been searching about the EV800d and VRD2 Pro and looks like people have more difficult to see with the VRD2 Pro than with the EV800d although the adjustable lens! Specially for nearsighted people. So, I'm convinced! Thanks a lot! :D
Great comparison video! I 'just' bought the EV800D on banggood. Ordered on November 25, shipped December 8, had been in limbo since. Tracking isn't working, so I hope they'll arrive at some point :S Glad to see that all the points that I care about went towards the EV800D, always nice to learn that you made the right choice :P
A shame the ev100 didn’t work for me. I sure do love the EV goggles series though. Im the same with you I’m maybe one of the biggest cheapskates in the hobby. I always look for the cheap stuff.
I had to add reading glasses to my 800Ds but my Ev100 work without mods! Idk about you guys but I get at least twice as much DVR with fan flight time out of my EV100s as I do the 800D... but I do agree both are good goggles... much better than the quanum v2 goggles imo... another great review!
I also considered the cheaper Shinehalo ls800d Chinese knock offs that look the same and have same features but they all are not as good as per reviews. Do you agree?
Love my EV800D. I wear glasses and had to break the arms off a pair and hot glue them inside. Works perfectly for me. Much better than my Tactic goggles.
Hi, great post. I have a couple of questions if you would be so kind.1. Are the diopters on the EV100 individually adjustable?2. Is the battery on the EV800 removable? Replaceable? Thanks
Yes, the lens' on the EV100's are individually adjustable for focus. No, the battery on the EV800 isn't what you'd call removable. It's not terribly difficult to disassemble the case and remove it however.
+DroneRacer101 thanks very much I'll check it out iv got the orange EACHINE dvr recorder aswel I was going to hardware it in plus iv think iv got a good idea to get better fov I found cheap reading glasses on eBay £1 a pair and they go from +1 to +2 to +3 +4 +5 & +6 iv got the +2 and +4 and I was going to cut them down to the size of the fatshark hd3 optic lens :-) and I'm hoping that will make a big difference lol but yes it would be great to connect with the simulator aswel and if your interested in looking at the cheap reading glasses I got let me know and I'll share the link from ebay.co.uk my friend and thanks for your help and advice happydays
I saw UAVfutures upgraded the antennae on the EV100 and the video seemed good but watched joshuua bardwells review with the default antennae's...and it was terrible...I really like how the EV100s look but idk the case....rn (Getting into FPV and this is a good budget goggles..)
great vid buddy .my first was fuse quanum.now i have skyzone sky02s.3d.but both thrse look great i was origionly gonna get eschine ev100.keep it up friend
Thanks for this review. My most concern is the AV input compatibility with external receiver. I have tried quite a few brands, and they often are not compatible between brands. Rcgroup has a thread about this problem. I need to hide inside my card and let the receiver on the car roof to do the deeds. :)
Ev800D! Don't throw shipping padding it can be used to DIY cover nose gap if you have one. Old eachine goggles didn't have padding at all so they made big gap for nose. But now with padding they forgot to return smaller hole anyway best fpv box goggles you'll ever get!
I had the ev800 last week the sd card slid in wrong and the battery heated up and the power would not come on and i ran them outside and chopped them open gently but too late to save them .
Thanks Mark. It seems like you did a video specially for me ☺️. I have the 800d on my Banggood shopping cart for a while. Any chance you have a coupon code for it? (Yes, I’m a bit of a cheapskate myself)
DroneRacer101 also, one more question.. which would be best for a beginner the wizard x220 or the walkera f210 ? I have flown a drone before and have a walkera master cp... thanks again!
@@couchgaming5577 RIP Admiral Ackbar. I'm sorry you met such a terrible end in TLJ. Anyway, did you get a racing quad yet? I can't speak for the Wizard x220 but I started FPV with the Redcat Carbon 210 which is basically identical to the Walkera F210, and I would highly recommend it. I still enjoy flying it today when I want to take a break from my newer quads.
I'm geting the walkers rodeo 110 and I was wandering if the eachine ev100 are a good choice for goggles and it is my first fpv drone and goggles to get thank you and if you have a give away please put the eachine ev100 in it I can use some thank you very much
Great vid! This may not be your specialty, but I'm looking for an inexpensive set of goggles that I can use on an airplane that will do pan and tilt FPV. Recommendations?
I didn’t talk about it much. But the Skyzones I just reviewed include a headtracker. Skyzone Sky02S Goggles Le Drib uses them, why don’t you? I legally have to say FatShark Killers ruclips.net/video/qj3WZIIIshE/видео.html I can’t really call them budget though.
Yes, you can get an external headtracker like this that you mount on the outside of the goggles. amzn.to/2FQ2zlU You just have to power it and then connect it to the trainer port on your radio.
I go on a flying trip with a couple of buddies once or twice a year, that would probably be the only time it would get used, hence the reason I don't want to spend much. Sounds like the EV800 and a head tracking device would be the ticket, thanks!
My EV100 reception suck balls, it literally blackouts after 30-50 meters, at the same time my friends EV800d has a perfect picture from my VTX. Tried all sorts of antennas, but it does not make any difference. So no doubt go for EV800d it is as good as RapidFire on FS, but many times cheaper, and a bit bulky.
I was just looking at the specs (and pricing) for the EV200...I’m not sure why they wouldn’t have just addressed the screen size issue and kept the price low (-ish). There’s a demand in the marketplace for affordable Fatshark-style goggles and this seems like a missed opportunity (new goggles will be my big 2018 purchase, so I’m hoping competition drops prices a little...but not holding my breath).
So i am about to buy a Wizard x220s already bound with Rradio. some King kongs props too but i still have Problem with the goggles... the 007 pro, or the ev800? Price between 800 and 800d are 30$ Just because of the drv? Whaaaat?! So i am flying different drones for about 3-4 years but i have no experience in the fpv racing stuff... So can u help me deciding between the 007pro the 800 and 800d? I really wanna fly fpv and not just trying it out...but i still dont wanna pay so much money for beginning...sry for my bad english... Thx Edit: and how about the Wizard x220? Saving about 50$ i guess but is it worth it?
Hey, this might be a bit late reply but I suggest you spend the extra few bucks to get the eachine ev800d. It's an incredible beginner box fpv goggles. Clear image and good range with the diversity.
Why does everyone always say you’ll end up buying a way more expensive version? What’s so much better about them and should I just go more expensive to begin with? At first I was planning on spending $50-$80 on a budget set, then after research and everyone saying that I’m eyeing $100-$150 pairs, but that’s as much as my f27 evo costs so to spend that on goggles seems excessive for just recreational use.
I went with the ev800d, seems like it checks most of the things I want and it’s priced right at just under $100, the only thing I wish it had was an anti fog fan as I tend to be a sweaty mess but we’ll see, maybe I’ll add some vents or even a small fan myself powered from the same battery.
Dear I am little bit confused to choose about the price.in eachine official page price of EV100 is 159$ and banggood sell it only 99 $ . How’s possible. Some of my friends tell me that banggood product are not a good quality.would you please help me out with this.do I buy it from banggood or not . Or buy a used goggles from eBay
I'm still using my first pair of goggles (Eachine EV007pro) that are worse than both (but even far cheaper) will update soon, but I'm still waiting for the EV200D, want to know if they are any good and how much they will really be
exactly what I'm doing - If they are crap, then I'm probably going for some really expensive things (fatshark or similar) but I still hope they will be sufficient. BTW: VR007pro are kinda ok-ish as long as you have some kind of external DVR (i.e. ROTG01 + some android-device), just saying since that's some option you didn't mention that might be even cheaper
Awesome Review!! I like the look of the Ev100, but the Bigger Screen Makes the Ev800 a Winner i my Book! Even though,I Really Don't like Box Goggles! You helped me Make up my Mind on the 800's!! I want Both pair, but with help from this Video.....Ev800 will make it here First!!
I bought some ev100s and regret it, the FoV is just too small to be useful going to look into the 800Ds soon, diversity and dvr on the cheap sounds great
This reminds me of the Vr-006 as far as not true diversity, but some people opened them up and saw that the 2nd antenna is not even connected to anything.
Did some research here. Don't forget that 100D's don't have drone audio and have only antenna diversity - not true diversity. That is a big deal breaker for me
Great video! Gave me a fresh perspective on the ev100s. I just got my brother into the hobby and steered him to the 800d's and he's incredibly happy with them. The ev100 screen fov and true diversity and better dvr in the 800s make them the overall winner in my humble bumble opinion.
That is great why it is great to have options now. Before the EV100 there really was no ski goggle below $300. Personally, flying at home I pick the EV800D still. But in public I might go for the EV100 :-D
Honestly I don't see a reason to ever upgrade from the ev800d. after 4 years my first pair finally broke (it was my fault). After doing days of research I bought another pair.

I would have to go with the ev100s. They have a black version too😎
I have both I was drawn to the EV100 because the EV800D's are so bulky and they fall on my eyes why I try to rest them on the top of my head while changing batteries or looking for my drone. But now that I have them both it's honestly really hard to choose which one I like more. The EV100's are nice and compact but they seem to have technical issues periodically and I don't feel like I can fully trust them. As far as range and reception while using the same antennas I can't even hardly tell the difference both seem to perform fine.
Thanks Mark for another great video.
You got me at practical, and this second viewer long run story its a +++ Thanks!
Been trying to make a decision on my first purchase for FPV goggles/box! This helps greatly!! Thanks, man!!
DroneAbis Sativa gghhhh
Of course, if you need box goggles, high end is nothing.
witch wone has the best quality and reception?
Great review, man. And I've been searching about the EV800d and VRD2 Pro and looks like people have more difficult to see with the VRD2 Pro than with the EV800d although the adjustable lens! Specially for nearsighted people. So, I'm convinced! Thanks a lot! :D
Great comparison video!
I 'just' bought the EV800D on banggood. Ordered on November 25, shipped December 8, had been in limbo since. Tracking isn't working, so I hope they'll arrive at some point :S
Glad to see that all the points that I care about went towards the EV800D, always nice to learn that you made the right choice :P
Im sold. Ev800 is a CLEAR winner
Still is the winner years later in my book
A shame the ev100 didn’t work for me. I sure do love the EV goggles series though. Im the same with you I’m maybe one of the biggest cheapskates in the hobby. I always look for the cheap stuff.
I had to add reading glasses to my 800Ds but my Ev100 work without mods! Idk about you guys but I get at least twice as much DVR with fan flight time out of my EV100s as I do the 800D... but I do agree both are good goggles... much better than the quanum v2 goggles imo... another great review!
EV800D’s all the way baby 👍 the screen size is awesome there slightly heavy but the image quality makes up for it 🤪
Hey Friends! i have a question can those be plugged with micro hdmi to computer (macbook to be specific) and play SIMs? Thanks! :)
i have the EV800D already but, want a slimmer option would you suggest picking up the Ev100 I mainly fly micro drones mainly 75mm and the tiny whoops.
Thanks man. I am strongly considering the EV800D. I have done a lot of research and the consensus is the EV800D's are the best bang for your buck.
I also considered the cheaper Shinehalo ls800d Chinese knock offs that look the same and have same features but they all are not as good as per reviews. Do you agree?
Totally agree. There are several others that use the same shell as the EV800D. But the internal components are not nearly as good.
i cee you hit 7k and counting.great stuff.my daughter keeps asking when your littlen is gonna do another video.
I did overnight. It’s cool seeing those round numbers. He has a video we plan to add music to this weekend.
Best review channel hands down
Love my EV800D.
As owl said. I would call the battery replaceable, but not field removable.
but why couldn't you add a plug and move the battery to the outside , this is something i am going to do with my own pair.
Ted Espin You could certainly mod it like that with little trouble.
Ted Espin Yeah a seen a couple people do just that....
Droneracer101 hiya mate do you think it's possible to modify the v100 with a video out to connect to a hdmi for using on a simulator by any chance
As a matter of fact I do think it’s possible 😉 How to hookup the Eachine EV100 Goggles to a simulator. ruclips.net/video/9TDz9HK99YE/видео.html
+DroneRacer101 thanks very much I'll check it out iv got the orange EACHINE dvr recorder aswel I was going to hardware it in
plus iv think iv got a good idea to get better fov I found cheap reading glasses on eBay £1 a pair and they go from +1 to +2 to +3 +4 +5 & +6 iv got the +2 and +4 and I was going to cut them down to the size of the fatshark hd3 optic lens :-) and I'm hoping that will make a big difference lol
but yes it would be great to connect with the simulator aswel and if your interested in looking at the cheap reading glasses I got let me know and I'll share the link from ebay.co.uk my friend and thanks for your help and advice happydays
I started with the VR007 and I still use them, the range is as good as the EV100’s, possibly even better!!
Hey man you got a new sub
One thing btw gow can I carry EV800D in the field (in a backpack)?
Thanks for this review. My most concern is the AV input compatibility with external receiver. I have tried quite a few brands, and they often are not compatible between brands. Rcgroup has a thread about this problem. I need to hide inside my card and let the receiver on the car roof to do the deeds. :)
EV800D are good for neck muscle exercises ;-)
Ev800D!
Don't throw shipping padding it can be used to DIY cover nose gap if you have one. Old eachine goggles didn't have padding at all so they made big gap for nose. But now with padding they forgot to return smaller hole anyway best fpv box goggles you'll ever get!
boom sweet round up, thanks
Thanks I just want to know which have the best range and quality of video
I've got both but no matter how I adjust the EV100 I'm always seeing this slight separation between the screens which makes them unusable.
Thank you for your honest review
I had the ev800 last week the sd card slid in wrong and the battery heated up and the power would not come on and i ran them outside and chopped them open gently but too late to save them .
Great Video... Thanks for the clarification and intersting point... This really helps 👍
Thanks Mark. It seems like you did a video specially for me ☺️. I have the 800d on my Banggood shopping cart for a while. Any chance you have a coupon code for it? (Yes, I’m a bit of a cheapskate myself)
The coupon toysho will work for a lot of things on the site. But not on this one right now.
DroneRacer101 thanks anyway Mark.
How do we fix the blacking out of the screen in the ev100 goggles ?
Will these work with the walkera f210 and the wizard x220? Great vid btw
Yep, they will work with both of them.
DroneRacer101 awesome thanks a lot
Bournefort no I haven’t gotten one yet, shipping is slow up here to heaven. Thx
awesome vid! 👍👍 i have a friend who really needs to see this review because he's still deciding on which to buy
No talk about FOV differences?
I'm geting the walkers rodeo 110 and I was wandering if the eachine ev100 are a good choice for goggles and it is my first fpv drone and goggles to get thank you and if you have a give away please put the eachine ev100 in it I can use some thank you very much
How about the range with the same vtx and antena Sir?
i put the sd card from my gopro in the goggles but it doesnt record do you have tipps what i could do that it records?
Thanks. I was also told I could get a head tracking module and mount it to something like the EV800, is that true?
Yes, you can get an external headtracker like this that you mount on the outside of the goggles. amzn.to/2FQ2zlU You just have to power it and then connect it to the trainer port on your radio.
I go on a flying trip with a couple of buddies once or twice a year, that would probably be the only time it would get used, hence the reason I don't want to spend much. Sounds like the EV800 and a head tracking device would be the ticket, thanks!
I received EV800d yesterday. There isn't on menù the "rotation" function, and dvr stop recording when lost the signal. Why this?
is there any hack to connect these goggles to DJI mini 3(not pro)
My EV100 reception suck balls, it literally blackouts after 30-50 meters, at the same time my friends EV800d has a perfect picture from my VTX. Tried all sorts of antennas, but it does not make any difference. So no doubt go for EV800d it is as good as RapidFire on FS, but many times cheaper, and a bit bulky.
Trying to look for the lowest price goggles are the ev800 the best below 120$? Pls
I would pick the EV800D for 1 reasons the DVR plus i like them better.
You forgot transportability
True. He EV100 would win that one. Not only because of the size but because rpsma is better for removing often.
Is there a link to a specific battery that can be plugged for external charging without modding/soldering? Does any 3s work? (sorry, noob question)
The EV200 are really just a whole different design. I think we will get an EV110 or such in 2018 too.
DroneRacer101 Hadn’t thought of that....hopefully that’s the case. Thanks for the response.
how your velocidrone screen is on the google???
does it give you a wide view when you are looking inside the goggles
Great review! Thank you. I've been HEAVILY debating all the starter goggles and I think you helped me choose. Cool be damned. 😁
What ones did you end up getting? I’m heavily leaning toward the ev800d but the only thing I’m really not happy about is all the weight up front
@@travispratt6327 which ones did you end up with since you never got a reply?
If i get this for the stock tiny hawk freestyle do i need to change the antennas on the evd800 to the straight ones?
So i am about to buy a Wizard x220s already bound with Rradio. some King kongs props too
but i still have Problem with the goggles... the 007 pro, or the ev800?
Price between 800 and 800d are 30$ Just because of the drv?
Whaaaat?!
So i am flying different drones for about 3-4 years but i have no experience in the fpv racing stuff... So can u help me deciding between the 007pro the 800 and 800d? I really wanna fly fpv and not just trying it out...but i still dont wanna pay so much money for beginning...sry for my bad english... Thx
Edit: and how about the Wizard x220?
Really nice video. U got a new actively sub
Sweet! Thank you very much.
Will they work with the bugs 3?
Excellent review Mark thanks, I agree 100% 👍
I'm still using my first pair of goggles (Eachine EV007pro) that are worse than both (but even far cheaper)
will update soon, but I'm still waiting for the EV200D, want to know if they are any good and how much they will really be
DEFINITELY wait for reviews on those before buying. But it sounds like they are trying really hard to get them right.
exactly what I'm doing - If they are crap, then I'm probably going for some really expensive things (fatshark or similar) but I still hope they will be sufficient.
I bought some ev100s and regret it, the FoV is just too small to be useful
going to look into the 800Ds soon, diversity and dvr on the cheap sounds great
I like my bgning ones there great and only cost 40pound I use a patch and Omni made by makerfire best cheap ones I ever used in fact
This reminds me of the Vr-006 as far as not true diversity, but some people opened them up and saw that the 2nd antenna is not even connected to anything.
Matt Jones these are both better than that.
Cool thanks.
But in public I might go for the EV100 :-D
where i find the record cards for EV800D?
Any good quality high speed micro sd card
I just wanted to say I new to Fpv
does the white set compatible with the eachine wizard 220s?
Yes. It will work with the 220S
Very good review. Thanks a lot.
Honestly I don't see a reason to ever upgrade from the ev800d. after 4 years my first pair finally broke (it was my fault). After doing days of research I bought another pair.
