Remember to use pump lube/anti-freeze at the end of each day. Leaving water in the pump can result in mineral buildup and corrosion, which wear out the pump seals and pistons (a $200 repair). So it pays to flush the pump after every use-a quick job. Pick up a can of pump lube/ antifreeze solution (such as Briggs & Stratton 6151 Pressure Washer Pump Saver; $10 at home centers). Screw the garden hose adapter onto the pump inlet and press the trigger until you see foamy liquid shoot out the other port. That means the pump is fully lubed and protected against freeze damage. Flush after every use: Attach the lubricant can to the garden hose port. Press the trigger for about two seconds, pull the starting cord a few times to circulate the pump, until water and lube come out the other port.
Thanks for showing your setup. When you wash houses with this setup, do you normally use your soft wash system to apply the soap, then rinse with your pressure washer? Or do you just down stream with the pressure washer and only use the soft wash system for roofs and concrete? Would love to find out. Thanks.
Heyy Good video thx !!!what kind of car are u use and what you suggest .... rhe water tank is heavy and the tools ... I am afraid my cluch will burn up .If I have small van . thx
Great video. Can you list in the comments were I can find the pump, and the mixer valves and the brands if you recommend them and what to stay away from? Thank you
I know this video is old but I should buy a ladder rack for your truck so u can put some ladders on it to make more room and look professional. They're only like $130 the one I got was. Also get rid of that big tank u don't need one that big and u can't see out your back window. I know I had one pretty big to but I went with two square translucent 50gal from Northern tool and they don't cover up the back window either. I like the 5/8 flexzilla hose I have the same for my soft wash system. I have a 5.5gpm and now a 7gpm 12v pump like it more volume. Wash on!
If I have a 3200 psi 2.5g pressure washer and 400 to spend on a tank and everything else to fit into the back of my SUV for soft washing driveways, vinyl, decks and cars, what would you recommend? Also, would my pressure washer be good enough?
Stephen Rogers thanks for your reply! Also, do you think it would be good enough to just pressure wash a driveway with a surface cleaner or by itself? One more thing lol do you have any recommendations on a cheaper surface cleaner?
Bro, just one question, if you don't have a tank to prestore water for the job, in your opinion will customers give you a hard time on using there water ??? If available outside there houses?
You should just tell your customers using their water is reflected on the price cause it's not safe for you to drive around with a full tank and it's bad on the vehicle that's what I do when fleet washing
Very inspiring as I've recently started a car detailing business! I'm curious, do you or anyone in the comment know places to buy bulk (55-gal) chemical like you have? Obviously won't be using the exact same chemicals but any help would be appreciated!
Nice starter set up. Im currently trying to figure out how to make my set up easier out the back of my suburban. Got a few ideas untill i get a 6 x 12 trailer
Hey man nice set up. How are u rinsing after u wash. Are u switching to straight water on your proportioner or are u taping into homeowners water with a seperate hose?
Hello and thank for the video. I do have a question where you get your values from im trying to get my setup alittle better and the values system you have would work great. If you can help me out i greatly appreciate it.
Hey Dude, I've been binge watching all of your content! Its amazing to see its only been a couple months since your started uploading and I can tell there must be a lot going on behind the scenes to fuel your great progression in the business, as I'm sure you're putting in the hard work #Grinding. I'm a University student in the mobile detailing business, and I'm thinking of expanding into pressure washing, I'd love to see a Discussion type video, where you give some pointers, the essentials to focus on and what drives you! P.S you could add the amazon links to your equipment in the description for anyone that may be looking for them and even become and amazon affiliate.
Nice setup, we just started this summer so we dont have anything this fancy but were looking to upgrade at some point. How did you do all the plumbing?
Hey man love the video and the progression .. Would like to see a parts list from you on the items you used to set it all up so maybe I can build my own as well ..thanks
Im launching my press wash biz here in scotland this week. love your channel. what is your biggest tips so far? what has been your most effective client getting method?
Cool Video!!! I'm looking to start a pressure washing business. Where do you get the tanks from and do you get the dials (soap, chemical) from the same place. Any info you have will help me out. I'm from Virginia. Thanks...
Hi, I came across your video. I'm also getting into the pressure washing business. I'm like you small but i like your setup on your truck. Wanted to know where you got the chemical knobs. Also was it hard to put together? I'm also in the Pacific Northwest and moss is crazy on roofs. Like to tackle this with softwash and cleaning house. Don't know where you are located but man i would like to meet up and get some help with the plumbing and 12v system hook up. Or a link to where to assemble everything. Good luck with your business Thanks, Michael C
Werks for you all that counts . Best leave that 275 alone and set clean rinse water to run off a garden hose best get a 16 ft trailer with a 500 gallon water tank . If you have a half ton .. it wont pull it . My steamer had a 500 gallon and it would go through the water like crazy
Just received my flexilla now I am having trouble finding the right reel and how will I hook the hose to the reel should I cut a new hose and hose clamp it or what?

Is that the wojet surface cleaner? I just got their 20" three bar unit. I may have missed it but what is your washer rated at? Ive got the 4200 psi 4gpm Simpson and i keep hearing it's not enough volume to push that surface cleaner.
@@richardbinkley8487 I've heard that before but I've also been told a 4gpm pump can push a 20" sc just fine. I'll be testing mine for the first time tomorrow
You can make a business card and put them in a ziploc bag with some cheap craft stones or something for weight so it doesn’t fly away and go pass them out in your car to the people driveways or doorsteps. Put flyers on people’s door handles. Hit big neighborhoods. Then when you get a Job knock on the next door neighbors, introduce yourself and name drop the neighbor and make up like 3 other neighbors and tell them hey I’ll be here doing those driveway and saw your driveway and wanted to offer my service .
NEVER use bleach with a pressure washer, unless youre spraying the bleach directly onto the surface with a spray bottle or pump sprayer. Using the soap siphon on the PW, with bleach, will ruin your pump.

Hey Stephen. Is that ford registered as a commercial truck? Thanks
so for softwash you can just use an electric pump? or also a gasoline engine pump?
The 275 gallon is too big? What if you don't have a water supply? You can do it all from there
how long did the cox reel last you from your softwash system?
So do you run chemicals through the pump? If so you should look at downstream injectors running chemicals through the pump will tear it up
Hi . Thanks for video. Can i ask 3000 psi 6 gmp vs 4000 psi and 3.5 gpm . What it's different with one better ? Kind Regards
