This is why I love playing trumpet. Without the instrument it sounds really weird, but I’ve seen some ridiculously impressive things done by both artists I listen too and the people I play with.
Brass instruments are kina crazy, someone really thought "hey lets hollow out this animal horn and spit into it and itll make a crazy sound" and then it just got ridiculous
probably one of the best 1 minute and 45 seconds of my life. Added it to my playlist and will not listing to it on loop every time I feel like it for hours and hours.
Glad you like it! I'l definitely be working to complete this tune. Sometimes these things take ages to make but this just clicked quite quickly so shouldn't be a problem to get it sorted sometime soon

Dude I'm a sophomore in hs and I play trumpet. I literally dream to be able to play like that one day. You make it look so easy, but it's so much harder to be able to play so beautifully. I’ve been experimenting a lot more with pitch bending recently on trumpet and I’m pretty happy with my initial results but I have a new goal! This sounds so smooth and effortless man, just fantastic
IMO, fitted well with pre-existing conceptions of the cornet. I prefer it when you blast the bastard along to funkier stuff! It's an amazing instrument for blues, funk, soul and whatnot; I first discovered it listening to Otis Taylor's "Hey Joe Opus Red Meat" album along with the best rock instrument - the violin.
I would love, LOVE to hear you channel some Stan Getz - diff instrument but a jazz style built around that glorious soft and round tone quality like you have on the trumpet. So much feel for shaping that smooth round sound. Something Getz-inspired would be amazing.
