Me is pushing 30 ain't gonna try that any time soon with my parents. I remember one Sunday morning my mom stayed home, while we went to church. It's about 85 kilometers (roughly 53 miles) away. We were already halfway there, when my mom called me and asked something. I answered her, then she said something else I don't remember what. Finally (and I wasn't angry at her or anything) I just scoffed and said "Nonsense". It was as if my consciousness had taken temporary leave of absence, but I heard myself saying that, it came back real quick. I was so scared and apologized profusely right then and there, almost as if she was standing right next to me, ready to strike. Momma must've known what had happened, cause her baby would never dare just talk to her like that. So she forgave me and I lived to see another day.
