Fave band. Not just of the 80’s. Tipping Point was a triumph. Every album prior that are, imo, entirely different to it’s predecessor. They’ve never been afraid to experiment, sometimes not always with commercial success. Some of the best stuff was during their break up when Roland continued with TFF. I love them even more given the fact that Roland’s favourite 80’s band was TalkTalk. Again one of my favourite bands.
I like how tears for fears mix it up with there music. You got new wave, synth pop, pop, r&b, hard rock, heavy metal.i like how they mix it up with there music.
I absolutely love Tears for Fears! I saw them at the Tipping Point concert, amazing, of course, and at the movie theater live concert, I loved every minute of it! Loving the live album, I'm an 80's chick, and so I'm very thankful they are still around!!! ❤️🎵🎶
I would love to know how Curt and Roland have dealt with the trauma of their childhood and if they are in a much healthier place today? I was just listening to their first album "The Hurting" and was just curious about their thoughts on psychotherapy and anything that has helped them cope.
Faux American accent? He's been living in The States for 35 years and gradually lost his thick British accent. This is just how he speaks now. Nothing faux about it.
@@mrmitchell78 I’m their biggest fan! With a soft spot for the incredibly talented Curt, whom so many people overlook because they can’t see past Roland.

Wonderful interview, great selection of memories. Very giving and understated.
Legends both & hopefully a new studio album in 2025..... And a full British tour!!
Remember seeing them on "Runaround" with Mike, wait for it, Reid! (1978/79)
Seen them 40 years ago at the Glasgow Apollo.
Live album brings back a lot of memories.
Everybody wants to rule the world is timeless...
Love Peter Gabriel and Family Snapshot is a great song. ❤
They sound just like they did in the 80's when l first heard them! They haven't lost it, nor have they lost their looks, extra bonus! 😂🙌🎉
I listened recently to the top five of John Peel’s Festive Fifty from 1982. Mad World came in at number 5 and Peel commented how much he liked it.
Gracinhas o tempo passa e eles continuam lindos e muito simpaticos ❤ Adoro de paixão ❤❤
Had such a mad crush on Kurt.
Love David Bowie 😊
Love Talk Talk 😊🌸🌼🌸Maria

9.22 Kurt and me
All I can see is Rick wakeman 😂
It's absolutely NOT their first official live album. Or whatever mangled pronunciation Smith uses in that awful faux American accent.

So you’re a fan, yeah?
