I love my 579,just not as good as the epic truck but still with my canestoga doing all the time 80.000 7.2 MLS/gal. Would say not to bad for the North East coast with lots of traffic and big Hill's

Surprisingly? The speed limit in New Mexico has been seventy-five miles an hour over twenty years at least.

It doesn't mean that you have to drive 75,it is the max speed allowed not min speed to drive

When I started the trip in Scottsdale, the trip fuel economy was 7.8. I reset it before beginning the trip to Denton. The mileage you see on screen was the same screen I was looking at. The first day of the trip went from Scottsdale to Holbrook AZ and then onto Santa Rosa, NM. There were some small mountains and two-lane roads on that leg of the trip. The second day was Santa Rosa to Denton. It was flat, interstate-type highway with the prevailing winds at my back. The gross weight was as described, and I did have a scale ticket at the time. And I was driving very conservatively at 65 rather than 75 and taking advantage of every coasting opportunity that came my way. This video is totally legit.

Was the trailer empty or did you carry a load for that fuel economy.
