I will save some time now:
    9. Don't be afraid to lose
    8. Show you are glad to meet them
    7. Look for something common with them
    6. Use the power of touch for expressing your feelings
    5. Use gestures and expression correctly
    4. Don't be afraid to be silly or awkward
    3. Ask about them. Let them talk about themselves. Ask many questions
    2. Always remember Names. Of their relatives friends and even their pets
    1. Listen instead of talking about yourself all time.
    You are welcome 😊

My primary school bestie was always like this and she actually influenced me to be like her. When she first came to the school I thought she was gonna be some stuck up girl who expects to get what she wants, but she's actually kind, and has a beautiful personality. When I told her about my first impressions on her when she came to the school, we couldn't stop laughing. And now we're going our seperate ways at our new secondary schools. I'll miss you mia, I hope your reading this.

You don't need to pretend like someone else in order to look charming. You just have to be true to yourself and be who you are because it's better to be hated for who you are rather than be loved for who you're not.

    • @starx8775
      @starx8775 6 лет назад +2

Yeah but the catch is I don’t actually care about who I’m talking to, I just want a fun time. So it’s all good. Plus I’d work on meshing my true personality with it ..... plus I don’t even have a personality.........

All points match my personality. I'm goofy, too honest, have alot of empaty and self ironi. People i barely know open up to me about their problems, bc I'm easy to talk to, don't judge and don't talk behind others back.
I hate when people give me compliments, but I give compliments to everybody all the time. The key to be charming is just to be aware about your own actions and see how people react. Thats how i learned it.

Great video. Common sense, etiquette, and how to be genuinely charming are so rarely taught anymore. These are skills which are invaluable, even in the ever more isolating, technological world in which we live. "How to Win Friends and Influence People " ,by Dale Carnegie is a must read for all ages. I was given a copy by my lovely and very successful grandfather when I was a kid. He urged me to read it monthly, then quarterly, and so on. I read a great deal, but this book has helped me perhaps even more than my three earned college degrees when applied it's principles are applied. Education simply doesn't teach wisdom, common sense, or how to problem solve in most cases.
    God bless!

Be present and at ease as much as possible and curious. Also, be sincere. If those characteristics don't come naturally, don't do them. You have some great qualities, know it and be happy. If I see a truly charming person, I feel the positive energy. If they are acting charming, it's gross and you wonder what they want.

I enjoyed it a lot... I am bad at remembering names. 😥 I am looking for some ways to remember names better, though.

I already use all of these, (except the last one, I love to talk.) so I guess I’m the most charming person in my class.

    I am like that.
I also watch people only in their LEFT eye! With a calm/calming and sincere smile.

I can, no wait... I already do everyone thing in this video.. except to call people by their names.. I just can't remember their names &, in some cases, their faces. But that's not my fault that everyone in the school remembers my name & face .. sometimes they just come calling me up by my name & talking to me so friendly & I dunno what to call'em. & all I do is "Yeah.. yes.. yup.. yeah ... fine. Good.."

well in my humble opinion, without the desire to offend those who think different from my point of view, but looking at it in depth, taking into account the characteristics of each person I honestly think....I forgot what i was going to say..

It's not necessarily true that if you have charm, you will have charisma too. I, as a natural charmer, can please people and earn their trust but I have charismatic friends. They lead. For some reason they are highly confident even if they know they've made a bad decision.

    4. They're not afraid to look silly.

What if the person you’re talking to doesn’t talk much or kinda doesn’t know how to keep an engaging conversation going? Any help? Idk if some people are just shy but this happens a lot where it feels like I’m doing more contributing to the convo than them. If they don’t bring up a subject what do we talk about? Then sometimes someone will keep talking to the point where it isn’t a conversation, do I just sit there and listen?
