This is exactly what information for which i was searching. Thank you!
Great IMPORTANT video. Thank you.
Guys a con artist- he’s purposefully testing the first 2 gems NOT on a metal/correct background. Of course they test not diamond. The pen comes with that metal tray he uses for the last stones because it’s NEEDED to WORK. It measures conductivity and you need something conductive for it to reach and come back to the pen hence the required metal plate! That also why I works if your gem is in a ring because of the metal 🙄 scam
I’m waiting on him to respond to you.😂😂😂
Couldn’t agree more
What diamond testing device are you using?
this seems weirdly disingenuous - there's no reason to favor one type of lab grown diamond over another just because of this kind of test. hpht diamonds are known for having better clarity and color than cvd diamonds so there are perfectly legitimate reasons to choose one. any reputable jeweler will be able to tell the difference between an hpht diamond and a moissasanite even if it does throw a false positive on a pen test
Facts, I just went through this with a local jeweler but I was prepared:))) I brought sandpaper And a piece of moissanite and didi the scratch test and the dot tesnt and then had to explain how HPHT don't pass electric conductor readers and ONLY a thermal reader will be accurate. I'm sending to GIA and going to go back after I get the dossier to laugh at them. They agreed if it was moissanite it would've been destroyed.. haha, you are 100% correct
HPHT is JUST as much diamond as CVD!
I want cvds
hi, what are the specs of the hpht diamond? like color etc
its to my understanding that blue nuance is a good indicator of how much boron has been exposed during production of hpht diamonds, typically speaking, colorless diamonds shouldnt struggle too hard to pass a pen tester, boron is the reason the diamond is giving a false reading of moissanite because the boron is conductive similar to a moissanite, im interested to know what color the hpht diamond is, thanks!
Nope, it’s mainly because hpht is not 100% carbon unlike cvd and natural
@@amayrajj1165 why are you disagreeing but saying the same thing I just said? Cvd diamonds use methane during the growth process. High carbon based gas but not 100% type iiA lab diamonds beat the pen tester the same way as a mined. Both HPHT and CVD diamonds pass a pen tester if they’re type 2A diamond. Do your research please!
you pen is flawed, use the GIA certification instead
The lab one didn't go to moissanite
I have had moissanite pass that type of diamond tester over and over again I think certain really high-quality moissanite will pass as both on that type of tester
What about SI diamonds?
Si are CVD man made diamonds stand for slight inclusions
@@JamalHendonsi diamonds are natural diamonds that come from the earth . Si= slightly included.
HPT or SVD lab grown diamonds are only made in vs or vvs clarity
Dudes a salesmen pushing his stuff. That is all.
Buy real diamonds people. Buy what you can afford. Make sure it’s real.
